Mixed Hairs?
I have a mix of dark/coarse, grey/coarse, and dark and grey/fine hair on my chin and throat. The Emjoi Gently Gold seems to get about 50% of the fine hairs, but leaves the coarse ones behind -- no matter what length I try it at. Has anyone tried both who can provide a comparison? Or, does anyone recommend it for mixed hairs?Thanks!

eEmjoi EpiSlim Hair Removr
I have a question about the eEmjoi EpiSlim Hair Removr. Is it for all over the body or just bikini and face? I am travelling overseas and I want to take a battery operated epilator that I can use for the legs. Will I be able to use this product for that purpose or is there something else that someone can recommend?Also, I have been doing some reseach on other epilator products by Emjoi and they all say that the hair takes 4-6 weeks to grow back, how long does it take the hair to grow back with this product?

You could use this on your legs, but it would take a long time. I'd get a larger unit for your legs, the more tweezers, the faster it works.
How fast your hair grows back depends on your hair type, not the unit. The unit will pull the hair out, your body will determine how fast it will grow back. Also, your body hair grows in cycles, so although it will pull out existing hairs, the hairs that are still below the surface of your skin are ready to break through the next day. I think 4-6 is very optimistic unless you have very fine, slow growing hair. Two-three weeks is more realistic. But the great thing about any epilator is that it's easy to do quick touch-ups, and I find it works on shorter hairs than waxing. |
does the hair grow back thicker?
Everytime I use a hair removal product on my upper lip, the hair tends to grow back thicker and much more noticeable. Does that happen with this product?

A week or two for it to grow back. However, there may be some that grow back a bit sooner because they were just broken off, not completely pulled out.
It does not ever permanently remove hair. It is not electrolysis. |

One thing it does NOT shave the hair. It remove the hair by the root like tweezing. The hair should be at least long enough to pull like it is during regular tweezing. It says on the box .5 milimeters. |
