This thing is the greatest invention ever!!! I'm gonna get the bigger one, too. This is so much better than waxing-No MESS!! I wish I found out about this little thing years ago.

I'm 46 and have had facial hair since my second pregnancy 19 years ago. I have used creams, waxes, shaving and tweezing over the years and nothing worked as well as I wanted. On a whim I bought the EpiSlim and read the directions. That is one thing I have noticed on some of the negative reviews, a lot of what people find negative they would find that by following the directions they could either elimenate that problem or see the product was not meant to be used as they are using it. It is not meant for large areas such as the man who complained it didn't work on his chest or the people who have complained about it takes too long to do their legs. It is meant for facial hair and small touch up type work. If you want to do a big area get a larger epilator. Also, it clearly states that you must exfoliate to keep from having ingrown hairs(bumps). The first time I used it it hurt, so does waxing and tweezing, my face was red, it is with waxing and tweezing too. I just laid down for a bit with an ice pack on my face and the redness subsided. After the first time I do a quick once over every morning with no pain and I now have a baby smooth face with no "shadow" or stubble.

I love this product. It is so easy to use and olny hurts for a second and once the hair is pulled out it doesn't come back very fast. i love it so much I bought one for my mom ansd my sister bought one and now her girls want one.For the money is is GREAT!

They, for some reason, put this in the hair removal for men section. I tried using this for my arms, chest, stomach, chin, shoulders. The only thing this product is useful for is peach fuzz type hair. It can get that stuff off great, however most of mens hair isn't peach fuzz. I used this for hours on my chest. It got roughly half of the chest hair gone. Beard is a lost cause of course. Stomach and arms were too sensitive.
This thing seems to pull out hair out of the roots only half the time. Sometimes it just tugs at your hair without pulling it out, which is the most annoying thing. It losses its battery power quick, which may be good because it hurts less when it does. But it pulls out hair even more lazily.
For women whos hair consist mostly of peach fuzz I think this is for you. For men, your screwed. This was more of a waste of time than it was money.

To tell the true i didnt like the product.. To remove the hair on ur legs it takes forever.... to remove the hair on my leg it took me 2 hours.. it just doesn't work to remove the hair u have to go so many times over one spod... I dont recomend this..

I'm 19 and I have facial hair which is an absolute pest. After reading several reviews about the hair remover, I decided to purchase it. At first, I was a little intimidated by it because of the noise and the spinning action, but after working up the courage to use it, it wasn't so bad. Yes there was a bit of pain and yes I had to go over some spots twice, but the finished product was a smooth face. After a few days, however, my face did break out in little bumps I'm guessing from the removal of more than one hair at a time. The product is great, I do recommend it, but be sure to use some kind of agent to prevent bumps.

For the purpose of removing a little excess facial hair (mustache, sideburns) this works pretty well. However, it IS painful. You also have to wash your face before and after, and make sure the device is clean, otherwise you may get clogged pores (aka pimples). If you are all right with some pain then this is the little gadget for you. It definitely works better than a full-sized epilator for this job.

I was suckered in by all the glorious reviews. It is OK but not the answer to all prayers like the others made it out to be. If you want something to remove facial hair invest in good tweezers. Otherwise save this for bikini lines and knees.

Not knowing what product could safely remove my bikini hair ..I invested in the EMJOI!!!!! It did more than I expected..I'm smooth as a babies butt...My partner---Female-- also used it..She couldn't believe her "eyes"...!! 2 weeks after I used it I'm still nice and smooth...To prevent what others refer to as small skin bumps...We used a small pad soaked in "Sea Breeze"..It had a disenfectant effect...NO BUMPS...My partner does not like pain...which you get a little with this devise..However she tried some "ORAL GEL" applied directly to the skin and it seem to have a "numbing effect" on the skin?? A+++++++++++++++

I have not had a chance to use this product where I most wanted to use it, my face. Hair must be 5mm. long and I have a hard time letting it get that long before removing it (of course one of the reasons i bought this product). I am hoping to find a pocket of days soon that I can endure the longer hair to really try this thing out. i did try it on my arms and it worked great.

Buy it and you'll see, i just got it yesterday, and in 2 minutes i had no facial hair left!! This is the answer to a biiiig big problem that i have: "facial hair and what kind of wax should i try next", this little machine does just great the things it's designed to do. Facial hair gone in seconds, don't know about underarms yes, but i'll try and come back with a review. Do not buy this for legs, it will take a long time and batteries. Oh, and it doesn't hurt much at all, before you get frustrated about the pain...the hair is all gone!

I love this product it really works.... I have done everything from tweezing to waxing to creams I mean everything. I use this on my face it works great. It does hurt a little but then again no pain no gain at least after your done it doesn't leave rashes or anything like some of those creams do. I even used it on my arms that is a bit more painful but it did get the job done... I would say buy it you'll never have to spend money again trying all the other hair removal products out there. Just be aware that there is a little pain involved but the results are worth it.

I received my emjoi product on Friday. I was so excited I went home and used it that night. It worked great. The noise was not that bad and it didn't really hurt after my technique got better. On Saturday morning, there was a little soreness and a few whitehead bumps. I also bought tend skin so I put that on. By Sunday it had gotten worst. It's been six days and my skin is clearing up slowly. I highly recommend the product it's just not for everyone. If you have problems with waxing like I do, have highly sensitive skin or if you have a lot of hair to remove I would not buy this product. It probably won't help very much but will irritate your skin. I'm a AA female and this product was very harsh on my skin. It worked but afterwards I bumped up very badly.

Fast shipment meant an early try-out. My suggestion is if you want to remove hair such as on chest, legs, back; shave first using a blade, and then follow up with this one or one like it. I did chest, small of back, and top of shoulders. The initial "pulling" of stubble hurts a bit until your use to it, but now I use it as a daily trimmer because of the light vibration it sets up. For me, I really like it for what it does and the local massage it gives. I like the feel of NOT being so hairy.

I love the EpiSlim ! It hurts at first, but so does plucking your brows. I use it on my legs and love it. A few days later the hair that was shaven comes back, but in patches and I quickly and effectively remove it with the EpiSlim. Small touch ups. Wonderful results. My boyfriend loves it. Gone is my porcupine legs and in it's place smooth, silky legs. I actually gave this to my cousin and bought another for myself!

I bought this for facial hair - the little moustache and chin hairs that seem to show up after age ___! This one is small enough to get into the lip and chin area. In fact, it works better and is much easier to use than a large one I had previously.

After reading dozens of reviews about this I finally broke down and bought it to take care of the hair on my face that has sprouted out since I turned 25. I am a faithful tweezer of stray hairs but things have gotten so out of control that I couldn't stand it anymore and needed an alternative. There was more pain from this product on the test patch on my arm than there was on my face. It gets almost every hair (still the occasional tweeze has to happen) and it does the job quickly. The noise seems to bother some people, but we live way out in the sticks so I am the only one who hears it!! BUY IT!!!! :)
