I recieved my Epilator today and I tried it right away. Who ever says it hurts either has a low tolorance for pain or they should try using it at a different time of the month depending on your cycle. $20.00 you will not be dissapointed. It did not "cut" my hair it pulled them out. It's not overly loud, you just can do it in the office! lol I absolutely love it and I feel like I got a steel! I have gone through 3 epilators by 3 name brands like emjoi and each one costed me between 70-110 and this last one that I tried worked the same way and the best thing is its convenient for travel as well. It works great! I have hair on my upper lip and it is on the dark side so i finally decided to get rid of it. I didnt know what was the best way to remove it so I looked at a lot of reviews for waxing, shaving, epilating, and other methods. I decided to go with the epilator and I think it was the best choice. It doesnt hurt at all. I have never waxed or done any hair removal besides regular shaving for my legs and bikini area and this didnt hurt one bit. At first it stung a little but nothing compared to how I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend it. Ive been using it for about a month now and Im very satisfied. I havent gotten any bumps or ingrown hairs or irritation. I just use it at night and then moisturize and my skin is smooth. I bought this thinking I would only be wasting 20 dollars... no biggie. I'm in college and dark haired/Mediterranean, so bikini waxing sucks up WAY to much of my tiny budget. i use this on my legs for touch ups/easy to nick areas and my bikini line. i esp love it on my bikini line. it's not perfect, and you do need a good 15 minutes or so to use it, and maybe 5 days or so of growth. doesn't get it 100% hair free, but it leaves behind only a few fine hairs so i can shave and get it baby smooth. (usually shaving is terrible and leaves me with nasty bumps.) also, after a few months, i hardly need to shave or use it at all any more. just like waxing, it rips out the hair at the route, so it's painful but it deff. does the job! big draw backs are that it's loud and youre left with 1000 newly plucked hairs. not the best for dorm use. This is fantastic. I bought it to use on my chin. I have had my facial hair lazor removed and now have random black course hairs, along with old age also has come farsightedness and I found tweezing quite hard and thought an all at once would be easier. I loved the results and began using it on more areas of my face. I also use it to remove the thin peach ve fuzz above my lip, and to pluck my eyebrows. I don't know how I ever managed with out this thing! My only conplaint is sometimes I tend to get some pimples after using. Using a topical coritsone cream seems to helps aliviate this problem.
