After years of using many different concealing products, Derm Match beats them all. My only beef is it is a bit expensive and flakes a little. Other than that, I would not use anything else.

If you must use a mask to hide the baldness or thining, DermMatch is the best I've tried. It's a little time consuming if you need a lot of coverage, but it is worth the extra effort. Also it lasts so much longer than all of the others I've used so ends up costing less. Would like to see more applicators included as they don't last very long, but you can purchase extras.I hate my condition but DermMatch helps me keep my pride.

I use to used toppik for 5 years. Then my hairloss outgrew toppik. Then for past 3 years have been using Prothik. Prothik works great, but messes black everywhere including my bed sheets etc...and gets black all over clothes. Also makes hair very brittle..unable to brush and looks hair look very dry. I tried dermatch a year ago, but got wrong color so I disgarded it and stayed with Prothik. Just tried Dermatch again..This is the best stuff period. First covers perfect. When dries is rub proof, no black everywhere. It also doesn't run with water (stays on) and comes out easy with shampooing. No mess, better coverage (or as good as prothik), no black everywhere, and able to style hair, no straw hair. That is my review. Just get the right color and this stuff will set you free.

I felt this should have been longer lasting. And yet when I tried to take a bit off my forehead, it was difficult to remove. I am not happy with the product at all.

I was skeptical but it works well for me. I use it on the crown and it appears to be undetectable (my family have not mentioned it). It is humid and I've been sweating heavily and had no problems with this product coming off. At the rate I'm using it, it should last for a very long time. It is easy and fast to apply. No, I don't work for the company and I've never used any other product so I can't make any comparisons, neverless, I'm very happy with the product.

This product is ok but if you get the color wrong it's a costly mistake. Overall Toppik is much better at blending naturally into hair.

The product really works well to conceal moderate hairloss in the front line and mid interior of your scalp. By far better than Toppik or even proThik. It may take a little longer to apply and brush it out versus similar products but it is worth it for frontal or mid-interior hariloss.
If you are intersted in covering your bald spot in the back DermMatch by itslef may not do a good job. But apply DermMAtch to your balding crown area and brush it in such a way that you spread the product on the back of your head, apply Topik and you will see that it really "sticks on." It is great for someone who has moderate bald spot.

I have been using this product for several years and would not be without it. Common sense would tell you it's not going to fluff up your hair like a supermodel, but what it DOES do --and does RELIABLY and UNDETECTABLY is cover white, shiny noticeable scalp. I wash and dry my hair, apply Derm Match with a damp applicator in 1/2-inch part sections in front and randomly in back and on top, dry for a few more seconds and then start styling. It lasts for five days until I shampoo again. I am 54 and have moderate loss just in front at the top and light loss at the crown and top back. With this product, a side part, excellent Aveda Salon hair-coloring and good old setting, teasing, styling and spraying like hell (:-)!), I can avoid a wig and look reasonably good and feel normal. Without the Derm Match--no chance. Thanks for a wonderful product.

I am a 49 year old woman that started to notice slight hair loss this past year. I am a light brunette and I lighten my hair to a darker blonde.The thinning was more evident right above my bang area. I finally out of frustration decided to use this product and purchased the light brown. I cannot believe the differance! You cannot tell there is any thinning and I hardley use any product. I just apply it when I am doing my makeup...just takes a sec.... I am so thankful for this little miracle in a jar!

I tried this product one week post hair replacement surgery in order to look presentable for a black tie event I had to attend. I was VERY skeptical as I had thin hair in front and post surgery, was about 10% thinner than usual. I applied as directed without any 'practice'.. 1. used after shower with wet hair and scalp; 2. wet sponge and swirled in powder until the sponge was full of color; 3. applied to front and top of scalp right up to hairline. 4. Blow-dried and brush styled as usual. My hair looked thicker with more overall volume. My white scalp was invisible and shine-free. I assessed the effect in full sunlight, with bright light overhead, in close-up. My opinion is that the product is not detectable unless someone is looking for it. I wore a WHITE blouse and there was no color staining on it, or my pillow that night. Washed my hair normally the next day and the product came out without any effort.

I received this product yesterday. I can see how this product does wonders if you have intermediate hairloss in the crown or back area. On the hairline it is very messy and frustrating. It seems to take a very long time to dry as well. When combing after applying the application, it becomes chalky and gets all over the place. I have yet to find something that works for my frontal area. The worst part about this product to me, is even when it dries if you touch your hair (or someone else does) it gets all over your hands. So, I dont understand how it is "Undetectable". I am going to try Couvre or toppik next.

I received this product yesterday and it is absolutely 100% natural looking. I have a thinning spot at the crown and this product completely camaflages the thinning. It looks 100% like my real hair. This stuff is amazing!!!! It works exactly as it indicates. I am very pleased.

As a woman with significant hair loss and thinning, I have tried the sprays, the sprinkles, and the creme products, but I have to say, the DermMatch is by FAR the best one for me. Easy to apply, stays on until you wash it out, and very versatile as far as getting either a heavy or light application. Best of all, it is believeably blendable around my hairline. With this product (and a clip on hair piece in back), I look great. I actually get compliments on a regular basis about how beautiful my hair looks. From strangers even! My days of feeling self conscious about my super thin hair are over. Thank you, DermMatch.

I am almost finished my first purchase which has lasted me about 4 or 5 months....At first i put it in dry as i didnt like putting it in wet .I then put it in wet blow dry my hair and after its all dry i then wet my hair again and towel dry it and bam it looks great.I wouldnt use it if i didnt look great..I cant live without it now...Also you do need a decent amout of hair for this to work....

I like keeping my hair buzzed, and just needed a little "fill in" color at the crown, and this product is great for that. I use a sea sponge to dab it on, and it looks very natural. I like this product the best among the coverup creams and sprays.

Well, I received my DermMatch last night. And of course, as soon as I got it I took it into the bathroom to try it on. I am using it dry. Wetting it seems messy. IT WORKS LIKE A DREAM!!! If you can put on make-up, you can use this. Not even sure why people are complaining about there not being good directions..Um..Hello? It is NOT brain surgery, folks. Anyway. I am a gastric bypass patient of 2 1/2 years. This surgery caused quite a bit of hair loss. I have felt so self conscious about how thin my hair is since the weight loss. NOT ANYMORE! It was so easy. All you need is a bit of time, practice and PATIENCE. I feel BEAUTIFUL again!!! Even more so after a 130lb weight loss. And just after 2 uses, last night and this morning. I will forever be a customer! No wigs or weaves (yuck!) for this gal! DermMatch ROCKS!

I read both positive and negative reviews and decided to try it myself. I actually found it very helpful. The trick to using it is to slightly wet the applicator but also to apply it lightly to the scalp preferably right after shampooing your hair. It lasts all day and will not run off if your hair gets wet. I like it and will be buying it again. My only complaint is the color is actually darker than depicted online.
Did not know such an easy solution was available

I no longer need to wear a wig on special occassions and don't have the embarrasing bald spots on the back of my head. i need to figure out how to add some shine to the treated hair.

Dermatch is okay to me, but I'm still a little unimpressed by the so-called thickining technique. Dermatch is great for coloring in those scalp showings, and it actually looks great on me. But I think the differnce is that I have quite a bit of hair on my hair line which is where I used it in the first place. I could see why it would not be good if you don't have a considerable amount of hair, but if you do, it looks fairly descent. As for the sun,What makes it so detectable for some people is still about how much hair you had in the first place. If you don't have enough hair then it will look like paint on a bald forehead with no full or thickness. But it really doesn't thicken to me anyways, but with a reasonable amount of has it lokks slightly better.
