I have used everything from Phyto to John Freida (high to low), but this really seems to be the best defrizzer I have ever used! It smooths your hair. Put a little bit on your wet, combed-out hair after it's been shampooed and conditioned, and then you blow it dry and/or flat iron it. It seems to keep the frizzies away. It has something in it that keeps humidity from getting to your hair (mine anyway). I come from the humidity capital of the world and I recommend this stuff to anyone who likes a smooth, frizz-free hairstyle.

Looks like a condish..works like a miracle!.. I was skeptical because I have tried every straightening balm to blow dry my crazy thick frizzy hair smooth and sleek. Well, this stuff makes my hair smooth and light, feels like there is no product in it, just silky and smooth. My Holy Grail. I have been using for the last 4 months!

i have been using this product for over 3yrs now on my clients, stylist 22 yrs, you can use this to tame and define curls more if left to difuse or air dry, but to use as a straightener: amount varies by length and tightness of your curls,mix in your hand,rub thru your hair,dry w/blow dryer-doesn't matter how-your flat iron will straighten your hair. when you strighten yout hair w/solia or sedu or chi or even ghd your hair stays better than any other. it holds fabulous, no burrs at the scalp from your curls," no changing from the humudity"......it really is one of the best straightening agents out there enjoy!!!!!!!!

Okay product, not the miracle I was looking for

I bought the Davines Relaxing fluid in hopes that I found my miracle. To be honest, the CHI Staight Guard works better and is half the price. I don't regret trying Davines, but I don't think it is worth the price. I will continue you to shop at Folica.com because of the superb customer service!

no oily , flat hair

this product smooths the hair shaft without an oily feeling. this is important when you have soft and natral curls. you do not have to use much and hair is smooth even after blow drying or hot iron usage. on weekends when i do not need styling products (like their texturizer which is also great), this alone provides me with the control, bounce and shine i need. This does the job in a humid place like Hawaii.
