OK Brush, NOT great

I purchased 2 of these brushes, one for my daughter and one for myself. When i first took mine out of the package, i thought it looked very "cheap" and generic. I gave it a try and was actually quite surprised as to how nice of a job it did. Really controls frizz nicely. The main gripe I have with this brush is the handle is HORRIBLE! Way to small and not comfortable to hold for this size brush. My daughter who has extremely thick, wavy, long hair doesn't like it at all. Says it's too hard to use for the same reason- the handle. She's 11. Would recommend this brush for someone with short to med length hair only!

My mom asked for a nice brush from Santa this year, so I found this one after a long search. I also bought myself one, as that would qualify the order for free shipping. I really like the brush, as does my mom, and think it will last a long time. It doesn't have those bristle tips that always come off other brushes. And it has a squishy base of the bristles that aligns with your head. It feels really good on the head and gets tangles out really well, much more easily than previous brushes (and I have long, curly hair that only gets brushed when I wash it about twice a week, so it gets tangly!!).
My one qualm with it (and it's not that big a deal) is that its handle doesn't have any "no-slip" grip or anything, just a smooth handle, which is sometimes hard to grasp after I've put the shine product I use in my hair and then proceed to brush. But considering I was using an old brush whose handle had broken off for about a year, this is a major step up and it doesn't bother me.

While blow drying my hair with THIS BRUSH it gets done in few mins and much straighter than a normal brush. Makes straightening your hair much easier and more ifficiently. BEST BUY!!! You'll have your hair finished in NO TIME!

I have never reviewed anything, but Folica kept sending me requests to review this, so, here I go:
The brush handle is small and weak and not padded, and it hurts my hand, since the paddle is so large. But, by far, the WORST thing about this brush is that the bristles MELT when I blow out my hair with my dryer (which is an ionic super-dryer, but still). I was really trying to skimp, when I should probably just have spent this money on a boar's hair brush.
I really have had better brushes, with WAY better handles. If you don't straighten your hair, I would go for a different brush anyway

This brush is better than any brush that I had in my life.It really detangles your hair.It gives you really really less hair breakage.

I've never been a big brush fan, but recently grew out my relaxer-and I needed something to use when blowdrying. This brush was PERFECT for blowdrying AND a quick brush once a day. LOVE it and would make the purchase all over again!

This brush is great. I have very long hair, and this has helped when I blow it dry. The brush is nice and large, so it holds a lot of hair when drying.

This brush is great! It covers a lot of surface area which is great for blowdrying as well as for everyday use! It does not snag or pull on the hair as some cheaper quality brushes do. It smooths my hair and is great for untangling!! Love it! My sister loves it as well!! =)

This paddle brush really feels good in my hand,on my scalp and brushes so easily through my hair with the strong rubber bristles. Especially after using the conair blow dryer and the biosilk shine on hair spray --Nice.
I would definitely recommend this product.
Invest in a good hair brush it's worth it!

If you have any reservations about the price just think to yourself: how much is my time and the health and beauty of my hair worth? For me it's definitely worth more that $12 bucks . . . and my hair thanks me for the investment. Not to mention my friends who don't have to watch me struggle to style hair damaged by inferior hair brushes! If you blow dry your hair this brush is an essential time-saving and hair-health tool.

I ordered this brush for myself and absolutely love it. It is by far the best brush I have had and believe me when I tell you I have had my share. At fise glance, I thought it would pull and snag but not the case. It glides through even wet and tangled hair. My 10 yeay old son loves it also so I am ordering him the smaller version (not found at Folica).

This brush puts drugstore paddle brushes to shame. I love it. It's great when blow drying my hair. It also works great on my nieces naturally long and curly hair. Detangles very well. Great product.

This brush is wonderful. I've always used paddle brushes just for general wet/dry brushing and de-tangling, and usually I would never spend more than say $5 on a brush, but I decided it was time for a new brush, and this one got great reviews so I figured why not give it a shot. I'm glad I did...not only does it de-tangle my hair in seconds (the head is large, but the brush is still very lightweight), but I also tried using it for straightening while I blow dry (I usually use a vent brush and it leaves my hair more voluminous then I prefer) and it works beautifully and doesn't create any static to boot! I definitely recommend, well worth it. Best paddle brush I have ever tried.

An excellent brush that will serve you for years. Perfection at painlessly removing knots, even in unusually long hair, like mine. Gives hair a glass like shine. Can be used with hair dryer heat, no problem.
The best brush for long hair that money can buy.

I purchased this brush for my wife, but kept it for myself after using it the first time. That's okay though. Last year she stole my silk boxer shorts. It's a great man brush, but I suspect women will love it too. It effectively massages your scalp while ever-so-gently styling your hair. Not your typical discount store or drug store brush. Very well made. The quality shows. I may just purchase another before the democrats hike taxes so high that I can't afford such a luxury. You won't regret this purchase!

This brush is fantastic! It works well on wet or dry hair. I have long, thick hair and this is the first brush that hasn't ripped my hair. It is also wonderful to use for blow-drying hair. It has a large surface that allows you to dry a lot of hair at once. I wish I had this brush a long time ago, but am happy that I found it now!

This is an awesome brush! I don't know what makes it so special, it just seems to glide through tangled hair and untangle. My husband grabbed it a few days after I purchased it and immediately wanted his own. LOVE IT! Needless to say, I'm buying another.

The first Denman paddle brush I purchased was about 6 months ago. My two neices have used it, loved it and threatened to take it away from me. Thus the second order. Guess what they are receiving in their Christmas stockings this year.
This brush is truly awsome. I have long, thick, curly hair that before Denman was a bear to brush. This brush glides through even the toughest tangles with ease. It is a real winner! Thank you!
