Product Rating: 5 The best brush I've used!
Reviewer: Jennifer from Dallas, TX USA  Thu Jan 28 2010

I have a lot of very fine hair. This brush was recommended to me by my stylist as a "perfect and very affordable alternative" to a Mason Pearson brush. I couldn't agree more. I use this to work out knots that form in my hair as well as my daughter's very thick, unruly hair. The brush never pulls or rips at the hair. With my fine hair, a knot can turn into a horrible dread lock type of mess in no time. This brush has really been a God send. I recommend this brush to everyone...especially those with children. You will rarely get a complaint from a sensitive headed child!

Product Rating: 5 BEST Brush For My Aging, Thinning Hair
Reviewer: Candy from Ankeny, IA, USA  Thu Dec 24 2009

Oh, my goodness! I cannot believe it! Im not sure which product it was, or maybe it was a combination of the two. I had ordered a medium Denman Natural Grooming Brush. You very kindly included a sample of bain de terre sugar and fig scalp massage scrub. Oh, my goodness!

I had been experiencing what I considered to be a more than normal hair loss when I washed and combed out my hair recently. I immediately used the scrub before my next shampoo and used the brush whenever I groomed my hair.

My hair is fine, but wavy. To me, this brush combines the best of both worlds nylon pins to separate and groom the hair and stimulate the scalp, and natural boar bristles to distribute the natural hair oils. The medium is the perfect size for every day grooming.

My surprise and excitement comes from when I washed and combed out my hair this morning. No large clumps of lost hair! Maybe a few strands, as one would normally expect, but not the large groupings of strands of hair I had been experiencing recently! I attribute this to the two aforementioned products I recently received from you. Thank you!

Love this brush. It really penetrates the scalp and makes my hair feel softer, cleaner and gives more body -- especially on my daughter's fine hair.
I have thick hair and it works great too.

Product Rating: 3 Hurts the scalp a little
Reviewer: Julie   Thu Feb 14 2008

This brush has a nice weight and feeling in your hand, except the bristles sorta hurt my scalp. They sorta scratch your head. I have thick, wavy hair and I don't think this was the right type of brush for my hair. It's probably better for straight, silky hair types.

Product Rating: 2 not that good
Reviewer: Anonymous   Fri Jan 25 2008

The brush is rather small and the ends are very sharp. There are better brushes on the market. I would not recommend.

Product Rating: 2 OUCH
Reviewer: Julie from Albuquerque, NM  Tue Jan 30 2007

I am pretty tough and I don't usually wimp out when it comes to brushing my hair. I can take some pain, but this brush's bristles are WAY too sharp for me. I gave it a try, but I'm exchanging it for the (squarish) Denman paddle brush with the ball-tipped bristles.

Product Rating: 4 It's good for the price.

It's very good for the price, but I don't see any exceptional features of it.

Product Rating: 5 Great Brush
Reviewer: Carol from Las Vegas, Nevada  Thu Sep 14 2006

I was very impressed with this brush. It's probably the best one I've ever had. What I like about it....it doesn't pull my hair out. I don't see hairs in the brush when I brush my hair.

Product Rating: 4 I AM IMPRESSED
Reviewer: riley from Portland, Maine  Wed Sep 06 2006

I must admit that I am very impressed with this brush! My best friend had one , and whenever we would get together I would always beg her to let me use it! Then i doecided to just buy one of my own, and i LOVE IT!

Product Rating: 4 Good hairbrush
Reviewer: Mel   Fri Mar 03 2006

I find the hairbrush to be very good. It is one piece so it will last a long time. It is good for straight, medium to long hair. The only thing I would change on it is the nylon pins are a bit sharp. They should have little nylon balls on the tips.

Product Rating: 5 love this brush!
Reviewer: Cynthia from New Jersey  Sat Jan 28 2006

I have fine, medium long, spiral curly hair that explodes into a static riddled, big, fluffy, mess when brushed. I didn't think I would ever find a brush that would smooth and detangle my hair without flattening it! This allows a lot more style opportunities for the curly impaired! This brush is just wonderful and a tremendous bargain from a really superior brush maker. Even my husband likes this one and he has very springy, thick wavy hair that frequently needs to be coaxed into submission. I can't believe I am writing a brush "review", but I just had to spread the word on this great product.

Product Rating: 5 Perfect Brush...
Reviewer: Nicole   Tue Sep 06 2005

I have the large version of this brush which is appropriate for my long, thick, straight hair. This brush is gentle on your hair and is great for cutting down on fly-aways and frizz. It is enjoyable to use after a stressful day because of its massage-like effect on the scalp. The natural oils of your hair are the best conditioner, and this brush distributes this natural sebum very well.

I really like this brush. I have thick hair and it really helps me smooth it in order to use the flat iron.

Product Rating: 5 Great find!
Reviewer: Nona from Silver Spring, MD  Thu Jun 16 2005

I have been looking for a brush like this for over a year. I have an old one like 10 years made by Revelon and they had none on their web site nor in the stores. It is a wonderful brush to massage the scalp without totaly disturbing a hairdo. It also lifts the hair in a gentle way after sleeping on the hair do. Revelon should carry this brush as well. I did show it to my hair dresser. I will take it along today when I go to get my hair done. I am so glad I found you. Nona

This brush was recommended by my hair salon. For the price, it works great and leaves your hair with a smooth finish.

Product Rating: 3 d82 large is better...
Reviewer: clw   Fri Apr 15 2005

...nylon pins are over-harsh, and unless (maybe) you have VERY thick hair, natural boar bristle will quite sufficiently stimulate your scalp while shining your hair IMHO. too bad it is hard to get the larger all-boar brush in the uSa:-(

Product Rating: 4 Compares with Mason Pearson
Reviewer: Patty Swope from AR  Fri Feb 04 2005

I just sold my Mason Pearson on Ebay. This brush is comparable in every way to the B3 that I had with the exception that this one has some non-natural bristles but they really stimulate the scalp. I think Mason Pearson is over-rated. This is a keeper.
