preventing hair "ridges"
I have fairly short hair; my stylist recommended the Denman brush (which he uses with great results). But when I use it at home, the ends of my hair get a 'ridged' effect instead of the "bobbed" effect. What am I doing wrong?

You probably need to make sure your brush is completely under the curl you want to make when blowdrying.
