I have long thick curly hair and this product did straighten my hair but not as well as i would hope, i believe this product would work well with someone who does not have as much hair I would recommend the chi turbo i have heard great things about that and believe its worth the splurge.

After using CHI and HAI flat irons, i have to admit i had a stingy moment when purchasing this flat iron ($49)...and what they say is true...its just OK. I definitely DO NOT recommend it on medium or coarse/curly hair. My hair is on the straight/wavy side and it does an ok job, BUT IT DOESNT GLIDE AS SMOOTHLY THRU MY HAIR as the pricier flat irons do, it kinda snags my hair (friction free? YEA RIGHT). So dont be cheap and buy the better CHI or HAI. You wont be disappointed.

I got this flat iron actually for free from a beauty supply store when I bought cricket shears. I am in cosmetology school now and I feel like this flat iron is just OKAY. It is really good for the price but I have used a CHI and its way better. Like I said, you get what you pay for!

I borrowed my sister in laws and it worked great. I have medium thinckness of hair with waves and frizz issues. It took me about 20 minutes and I was done! I can't wait to buy my own. Sleek result. I used it at medium heat. The results lasted for two days, then I needed to wash it so it may have lasted longer. I always use a hair cream from Fekkai, love it too.
I think it works alright.

I think it works alright. the problem is that once your hair is straightened, it only lasts for a little while.

This flat iron definitely gets the job done! My only reservation is that it's not as sturdy as my last Cricket...this one feels like it could break down a lot sooner. Other than that, this flat iron is really quality!
Price is good but...

I bought this because it was reasonable priced, compared to CHI and other brands. However, you got what you paid for is such a true statement here. This tool is so weak that it does nothing for my hair. I wish I had spent a little more and get something that in fact works.

compare to your $100 straightener

I've used my friend's Chi and loved it, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money. I found this Cricket and thought I'd try it...I love it! It works as good as my buddy's at half the cost.(of course she'll never admit that)

The iron works ok. It does straighten your hair but you have to go over it a few times. I wouldn't reccomend it to someone with curly hair. But the good thing about it is that it's inexpensive.
this one is the one
