Replacement ceramic plates?
Is it possible to replace the ceramic plates? I too bought my cortex at a mall and was ripped off royally. I recently dropped my flat iron on the floor and now both of the ceramic plates are cracked. Is it possible to replace just the plates or do I have to purchase a new iron? Needless to say, the one-year warranty is bogus and I have no way to contact the people I bought this from! Why are they so expensive at the mall.
My husband bought for me at the North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas; he knew I wanted one for Christmas; but when he show me the receipt he paid $150 plus tax he paid $162.38 with tax that was a rip off! We went back to return the next day since we were in San Antonio for the weekend the young person refuse to refund our money back! I will not recommended to no one! Question posted by Guadalupe M.
