So, I'm looking for a good flat iron that I can occasionally curl my hair with. I have thick, straight hair. I don't straighten my hair often, but when I do it doesn't take more than 15 minutes. I have used a CHI daily, and it damaged the ends of my hair. Totally fried it. It also shorted and broke. I find I can use any type of straightener though and I have been seriously looking into this one. But after reading all of the negitive reviews, I don't know if I should reconsider?? Help me please, :) Greatly appreciated.

I used my daughter's flat iron for a bit which was fine. But wanted professional hair salon results so I purchased the corioliss pro at a booth in the mall. So far I like it but just wonder why are these flat irons SO EXPENSIVE! .. This bother me especially if these kinds of products usually malfunction just after the warranty expires! I bought mine for $189.00 and she made a huge sales pitch that the original price was $250 however online you can get it for $164 with free shipping.

Broke right after warrenty

I bought two of these for each of my daughters for Christmas 08. Both broke on the same day in Jan. 09 just after the warrenty expired. It is a great flat iron as long as you don't mind replacing it every year.

THE BEST FLAT IRON

After doing one month of research and comparison I finally decided to get this flat iron and Im happy I did. It makes my hair so shiny, its amazing. Also, curling and flipping your hair is really easy and the curls last all day, when its straight it lasts for days. I highly recommend this flat iron

i wouldnt recommend buying this at all.. for all the reviews of the girls that "love it" its because they havent had it for long.. trust me dont buy it.. the best kind is a "chi"
