I bought one of these at a kiosk in the mall a little over a year ago along with my best friend. It worked good for about 8-10 months but I slowly noticed it taking longer and longer to heat up and not staying hot. I would have to straighten one layer of my hair then wait for it to get hot again, do another layer, wait, etc. My best friend's broke about 6 months after she bought it. She called the company and they sent her another one free and its working okay so far but these irons definately aren't worth the $150-$200 you pay for them. I have two other friends who bought Corioliss flat irons and both of their's broke and they had to go to other malls to get new ones because the one in our mall went out of business. Don't buy one of these!

It DOES NOT AUTO SHUT OFF and burned my $1500 counter in the bathroom ( WHY?) they all should have an auto shut off this is BULL and it could start a fire. I as a father am so upset that this product does not have a safety feature by shutting off. Make it happen

I bought this iron at christmas last year, on impulse. I didnt do any research for it at all, the lady just showed me how it worked, so i decided to get it. I paid 150.00 for it. Big mistake. I used it often, and yeah it worked, but it still took a while to get my hair STRAIGHT, how i like it. It also damaged my ends, which i know all straighteners do, but the lady said it wouldnt. After christmas, the kiosk was gone, and there was no way to contact the company. Anyways, my iron didn't short out, or just stop working, I dropped it and broke it, which was totally my fault. So i got a Paul Mitchell iron. Oh my gosh, the Paul Mitchell iron is AMAZING ill never get another straightener again, i absolutely love the Paul Mitchell smoothing iron, it is incredible. I would definitly reccomend it over the Corioliss.
It straightens hair, but has stopped working. No one to service this item

The straightener has done a better job than any other straightener that I have had, but after one year it has stopped working. It has a short in the cord. I only have 1 day left for the one year warranty to be up and I can't find any one to return this item to in Charlotte. The kiosk are no longer in the mall. So watch out******* The sale rep told me their was a 10 year warranty on this product, but now that I have a problem, I read and it is only a year. So the sales reps lied and the product is not working. Seems a little suspicious to me.

Believe me, I hope this is a good straightener... as much as u do! I just bought mine today at the mall and although I think it probably does work better than yeah, a conair, if I had done my research oin hair straighteners before letting the stupid mall give me beauty advice I dont think I would have bought this one... I really hope those Europeans know what they're talking about

The Corioliss Ceramic Hair Straightener is the best I have use. This is my second Corioliss straightener to purchase. After getting the first one my daughter kept using it all the time so I decided to purchase another one. We have purchased many other brands but I like this one the best. The other brand straighteners are under the cabinet now. I also have one with an adjustable temperature but I always left it on high or I would bump the knob and change the adjustment by accident so I like not having to worry about keeping it hot enough with just the on and off switch. I recommend this product. And this company was easy to work with too.

i bought this iron because i tried the older version at the mall and liked it. i thought this one would be the same but with a lifetime guarantee and pink casing. i was wrong. i'll keep it short:
PRO(S): styling. this iron is thin enough to twist on your hair and get it curled, dented, however you want it.
CONS: price, dries out hair if you need to restyle strands you've already covered.
i have 2 ceramic irons, this one and the T3 Tourmaline. T3 keeps my hair WAY healthier than the Corioliss. i wish i hadn't spent the money on the extra iron (Corioliss), but there are no returns @ the mall after 3 days. =( since i have it, i'll use it when i need to travel and whatnot.

people have been saying its a good curler... but i've tried to curl my hair with it and it doesnt realy work! how do you curl your hair with this???

My Mother in Law bought it for me here at a mall in Orlando, Fl. I have had it already for a year & it still works the same I love. IT REALLY WORKS!!!

I was so excited when i got this in the mail today. I thought it was going to be good, I had the plain black one and was very happy with it. I also thought it would be good because it was more expensive.... I was wrong I could hear hair yank right out of head,The noise freaked me out I though it was going to fall apart. It took me so many tries to actually get it straight. After all that drama it doesn't even look all that great, if you are reading this dont believe the hype dont waste your money!!!

This product does straighten the hair wonderfully, but it doesn't have a heat dial and over a period of time it has began to dry my hair out and there's tons of hair breakage!! Redesign this thing with a heat dial setting!!

Well I have REALLY DRY WAVY HAIR. This straightener made my hair nicer, and if I straighten it overnight when I wake up it makes my hair nicer and softer and it makes it look natural One thing I dont like is how it squeeks alot... I'm glad they give a 1 year warranty...but I mean once the year is over...will I know if it lasts? and was worth the $200 I forked over?
But for straightening it works quite well compared to the old conair one I had.

I loved it for about six months before it started falling apart... its getting cracks at the hinge and is now aligned crookedly. The stand at the malls that sold it here in charlotte aren't there anymore. imagine that.

i bought the corioliss last week. it works a little faster than my CHI, but what gets me is the curls it makes. I work at elle magazine & since i started using it i have gotten at least 3 compliments a day. I totally reccomend buying this straghtner.

I previously had an infrashine flatiron, but i dropped it one too many times and the plates fell out. I received this one as a gift and it is horrible. It does not have a heat dial, so it may be that it just doesn't get hot enough to do my hair and it squeaks really badly. I could not get the company (corioliss) to respond. My daughter has the black corioliss and loves it, but it has the dial for heat.
I finally ordered another infrashine from this website and am extremely happy with it.
