I had a chi and it blew out when I plugged it into an adapter in Europe. My hairdresser talked me into getting the Corioliss Limited Edition Pink 1" Flat Iron. It was supposed to be better for my hair. I do not like the results. My hair is not as silky as with the chi. In Florida as soon as I walk out into the humidity my hair frizzes. I'm getting another chi.

i got myne from the austin,tx mall for $163; and it works really great the lady even curled my hair within 8-10 mins! and my hair is a little past my shoulders! it works great; but it takes alot of practice to learn how to curl it, i still dont know how exactly how she did it; but it also straightens really great!

I like this hair staightener because it is fast and easy whenever i use it i get like a billion complements!! But u shouldnt use it every day or it will damage and dry out your hair but any hair curler/straightener will do that. Nothing is perfect but this is pretty close!!

I have naturally curly hair, and that is an understatement.... so I bought this straightener as a last hope in the world of straighteners. Nothing has ever straightened my hair and stayed straight like this before... so I definitely recommend this!! Here are some before and after pics!

I just received my new Pink Corioliss and I love it. There is no comparison to the Gold n Hot or Hot Tools that I've had previously. My african american relaxed hair came out soft, shiny and straight with just two passes of the iron. I am amazed at how soft my hair was after flat ironing it. The goldnhot and hot tools did not make my hair soft or shiny. I would have given this a excellent rating but there is no temperature adjustment and it gets so hot that I'd like the option of turning it down a little. I'm afraid that using at that temp everyday has got to cause damage but we'll see. Also, it doesn't clamp down tight so curling is really difficult. I did a lot of research before buying this. I knew I wasn't ready to spend the money on the CHI but I wanted the next best thing. I think I made the right choice and it was under $60.00!!!! One more thing- it gets really hot so protect your counters

I bought a corioliss iron from the mall for $100 and it stopped working within 1 month and went and exchanged it for the pink corioliss and it stopped working properly after 2 months! Its not worth $100 and would never buy this product again.

omg i love my straightener!!! i got this corioliss one and all my friends want and prefer this one to their own straighteners. its work is amazing.

I have been through many strraiteners in my day. i Current ly have a chi, a solia, the corioliss and a conair...i saw this in the the mall and the guy working did a great demo on my hair and it was PINK!! my friends loved it cause it was so darn cute and they bought one also. The warranty is GREAT!! i cant complain about that...but it sometimes looses heat and i have alot of trouble curling with it. It is great if you like something that hold up in lightly humid weather though. And it is much less frying than the chi.

I Bought this flat iron at the mall in lakewood ca. This flat iron works. I always wanted to try it but I thought I would not work. The stylist asked if I wanted to try it and I it worked. It made hair STRAIGHT & SHINNY something that other flat irons wont do and it wont burn you hair unlike Hair dry blower. I have frizzy curly hair I bought a flat iron before and it did not work. So if you have frizzy Hair like mine try it. I have seen them in several mall. If you dont see it at any store buy it here It really works.

I have had my Corioliss for about two years and it works great. I have long wavy blonde hair and it only takes about 15 minutes in the morning to straighten it with my corioliss. I took this Corioliss with me to Destin, Florida in the summer and it works great there no matter how humid outside it was. My hair still stayed straight and silky with no frizzes.
better than nothing...

but theres nothng special about it, other than its pink... which you can get a pink chi.. that works a million times better... for less money...

i got my coriolis at the mall. the salesman tried it out on my sisters hair, and as soon as i saw it i was sold. he straightend just one peice of her hair, and you could see the difference. her hair was so much straighter and shinier. and her hair was 10x softer. i also bought coriolis heat protection spray, which i also reccommend.it makes your hair extremely shiny and soft, and also protects your hair at the same times.i got mine for a little cheaper, because i bought 2 and the man was trying to get rid of them. the man showed me how to do the curls, and they look great and they are really easy to do.
i would deffinetly buy this again.it works great!

I have been doing hair since I was 17 I am now 26 and in all my years in this industry I have yet to find a good flat iron, I have been through the Chi the super star the paul mitchel (if I named all of them you would be reading this for hours)!Then I came across this iron in the mall one day, I loved the way it worked so I bought it and now I will NEVER use anything else, to the people on here that are not too happy with it maybe you are not using it correctly, most people go over the piece of hair so fast and expect magic, but if you would just comb your hair and go slowly over the piece it will give you amazing results. I own a salon that deals with EVERY hair type from thin and straight to thick afros and I would never let any of my staff use anything else, I highly recommend this product to anyone..........

So I have the sedu but was at my friends place and wanted to try her corioliss...normally it does a pretty good job straightning my friends hair(it frizes but it gets the hair straight). But the corioliss completly burned my hair after one use!!!Unlike with the Sedu i had to go over the same areas more than once and it stil looked pretty crappy. I recommend you try his straightner before buying cause it was not meant for hair like mine. Normally the Sedu gets my hair straight and shiny after just one use..corioliss did the complete opposite. To be fair it does work fine on my friends hair but she has realy oily hair whereas mine is normal. Soo happy i bought the sedu!!

I purchased my Corioliss about six months ago at a mall mainly because it could not only straighten, but curl too..and the pink was adorable. I like the iron, it works fairly well straightening my hair, but if I were using it only to straighten my hair and not curl it, I wouldn't waste my money. I used to have a mini chi straightener which worked amazingly well. I found that even though the plates were really tiny, you can get closer to your scalp and it doesn't make it take much longer since you have to separate your hair into sections anyhow. If you want a straightener that can curl, this one does a great job. When you first make them they come out as tight riglets, but I curl before I go to bed, wake up and have gorgeous beach waves and it takes no time!
