I give it two stars because for one I still have my corioliss and it still works after two yeras. It heats and lights up but however, it isn't the best striaghtener I've ever used. I saw it at the mall and it worked really nice and made it striaght. THEN, I ordered it on EBAY and let me tell you when I got it in the mall and used it. My hair was just how it looked when I used a drugstore striaghtner. Luckily, I paid only 79.99 for it. BUT this striaghtener is the biggest dissappointment to me. AND not even worth what I bought it for.
Pretty Good

The Corioliss is a good straightener as far as getting the hair straight. I recently tried an FHI straightener that was much, much better, though. If you're going to pay over $100 for a straightener, go with a Tourmaline straightener. The Corioliss does cause breakage! I thought it was just me, but after reading the other reviews, the evidence suggests that it is the Corioliss causing my hair breakage. This is because hair gets snagged between the ceramic plates and the tip of the iron and yanked out. I guess I would only suggest this straightener if your hair is very healthy, low maintenance or if you're just using it on hair extensions. And by the way for the person who made the comment about going overseas and the straightener breaking...What an idiot! duh! The voltage in Europe is higher than the US. This has nothing to do with the brand. You have to use an actual voltage converter when you plug it up. This is NOT the plastic adapter that simply changes the plug shape. The same thing happened to me and it was with a CHI iron. So good luck with that.
DO NOT BUY !!!

This was horrible . I bought it because I had tried it at a friend's house and it turned out pretty well . When I first recieved it, it was average . But now, 6 months later, it just sucks . It leaves my thick, curly hair frizzy and not even that straight !! The back poofs out no matter how much product and how many times I go over it . My $25 drugstore straightener was better than this ! IT DOES NOT STRAIGHTEN, AND IT LEAVES HAIR FRIZZY, POOFY, AND SLIGHTLY STRAIGHTENED. IT IS ALSO VERY DAMAGING AND PULLS MY HAIR !!
