I had this straightener for about a year.
It worked okay, but it I have layers and by the end of the day my layers were all poofy and wavy again. And then one day, I came back and the it wouldn't even heat up. I ended up having to buy a new straightener. The Conair Infiniti Silver Nano 1 1/2" Hair Straightener works great! I recommend you buy that! (:

I purchased this iron after my beloved sedu iron finally burnt out. I was trying to save money, but what a big mistake. I have fine curly hair and this iron only made it a strait (after a number of times going over the same piece of hair) poofy mess. It actually burnt my hair where I have highlights. Made it kinky and felt like straw. I decided to purchase a Chi iron this time using gift cards received from xmas. What a difference you can see right away. Please do not waste your money on a Conair Infinity iron, they are not worth any amount of money.

I totally agree this iron is defintely not for thick hair people. I have very thick asian hair and this iron just didn't do the work. Don't waste your money!

I bought this product and it was junk. All it gave me was straight poffy fizzy hair and it would take forever to straighten my hair I bought the SOLIA and I am so much happier it makes my hair straight fast and leaves it smooth and frizz free. I would not recommend the Conair straightner for people who have thick wavy/curly frizzy hair like mine.

mine broke today i've only had it for 6 months and the plate that actully straigtens your hair it broke in 3 places. Its junk.

this iron is so heavy it was hurting my hand to hold up and the design on it hurt my had too. It didnt heat up that hot, so it took me forever to straighten my hair, and still didnt get all the kinks out. I have very thick long hair, so i then purchased the 1 1/2" one, and it was just as bad. Definitely not worth it. Im returning it asap. I bought the sedu, expensive but worth it, great straightener!

its ok not the best product around it straightens my hair but when its humid out it really frizzes and when its cold out it gets staticky but stays straight and u have to brush ur hair alot if u want it to staright straight but other wise average,cheap product
