Product Rating: 1 I HATE these clips!
Reviewer: Lori   Sun Jul 05 2009

These awful clips slide out and if I clip them in tightly enough to hold them in place, they leave big crimps in my hair that looks awful. I want the traditional wire clips that have been in use for years. They work great....not these horrible clips that I have to carry separately since there is no where to keep them in the unit as with the wire clips. Worst is that you can't buy the wire clips anywhere!

I had trouble using the clips that came with my Conair, curlers my hair keep coming off the curlers. I bought the Conair Pro Clips and it solved all my problems. Its so easy to roll my hair don't know what I would do without them. I would recomend the, to any male or female who uses hot rollers. Thanks for a great product Steve

I'm using these with the conair giant rollers, and they work extremely well. No problems!

Product Rating: 1 Hate them!
Reviewer: Jeanne Mann from San Rafael, California  Fri Mar 21 2008

I have fine, smooth hair. The old-style wire clips worked fine, but my new Conair rollers only came with the "Pro Clips." They are awful. They slide off and leave crinks in my smooth hair. I had to write the company to ask for wire clips, and will have to wait 4-6 weeks to get them according to the mail-in form (no on-line or expedited option available). What a downgrade from a perfectly workable product! What's worse, there is a wire clip slot inside the roller box, but the "pro clips" are so big and bulky you have to store them separately. Not a smart design for supposed travel rollers! This "new and improved" is definitely not.

After searching locally to find replacement pins, I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Folica.com. They also were the most reasonably priced including the shipping fee, compared to other carriers of this product.

Product Rating: 4 Work well!
Reviewer: kimi from washington, dc  Thu Jan 31 2008

I think they work well- for me they hold jumbos, but the littler ones flop a bit on my hair. But really, the pins or other type of clip that traditionally come with rollers work fine on the little ones but bad on the larger ones, so I use a mix when I used mix rollers! ConairPro clips on the jumbos and other ones on the little!

Product Rating: 5 Can finally use hot rollers
Reviewer: Marelise from Washington, DC  Thu Jan 24 2008

I have very fine, slippery hair, the kind that barrettes fall out of, and the kind that definitely doesn't hold hot rollers. But these clips make hot rollers stay in! Now if only I could roll better...but that's a different story.

Product Rating: 5 Super option for fine hair
Reviewer: Debbie from Oklahoma  Fri Sep 21 2007

These clips are like magic if you have fine, silky, or super straight hair. They also work well if you have hair that is slightly short to be using hot rollers. The wire U shaped clips that come with hot rollers slide right out if you have hair that is fine, silky, or very straight. These clips will hold the finest hair with no problems. If you mist with hairspray or setting spray then roll they work very well for short hair that will only go around the roller one time. The only draw back, if you are too picky, is that you can get a little mark in your hair close to roots if you leave the clip in for a long time. This is easily remedied with a curling iron or flat iron to straighten out the crimp. This only happens on occasion, so I dont consider it a big deal. They are comfortable to wear and leave in for extended periods of time. They are also useful to secion hair from blowdrying,or while braiding. I could not recommend this product more highly.

Don't buy a cheaper clip !! If your like me, curler, no matter what they advertise always have a hot end. These clips fully protect your head. They totally wrap around the curler and no matter the size, hold every hair in place tightly. You won't go wrong !!

Product Rating: 4 Wonderful Clips
Reviewer: Andie   Thu Apr 19 2007

I love these clips. The curlers I have only come with 15 clips and there are 30 curlers. I was so happy that I found the clips sold on their own. They are great because they don't put kinks/dents in your hair.

Glad I bought these, they are very user friendly and I would buy them again for sure. Great price, received them in less than 3 days and great for thick hair!!! Try them ladies, I am sure you will feel the same :)

Product Rating: 5 must have for hot rollers
Reviewer: susan sperandeo from slidell,la  Wed Feb 21 2007

As a professional cosmetologist I first used this type of clip about a year ago but for 27 years nobody made this type of clip for hot rollers and I used to use small butterfly clips. These work so much better because the teeth fit under even the jumbo rollers. The metal clips that come with most hot rollers are useless. Thanks for these, they're great!

I love these Conair Clips because they not only hold my very thick hair with the hot rollers, but they also help in holding my hair in batches when I am styling my hair. They hold up thick hair pretty well.

These are THE antidote to those standard Conair wire curler clips that dig into the skin and burn if they're too hot. These clips are lightweight and hold my hair really well without spontaneously springing off the curler across the room. Thanks very much for a terrific option.

The Hair Clips work every well with the hot rollers. They are easy to use better and keep the rollers inplace while you are waiting for your hair to set. I always had trouble with that using the little clips that you do get with the hot rollers.

Product Rating: 5 If you've never tried these, you should
Reviewer: Anonymous   Fri Jan 05 2007

If you have never tried these clips with your hot rollers, you should. They are so superior to the old style clips hot rollers used to come with. I consider these clips one of the best discoveries I've made.

Product Rating: 3 They're ok
Reviewer: Amy   Wed Dec 20 2006

I wish they secured the rollers more ... I find they slip pretty quickly.

Product Rating: 2 Not for heavy hair with jumbo rollers
Reviewer: Lynda from Texas  Tue Dec 05 2006

If your hair is long or heavy and you use really big rollers, forget it.

Product Rating: 5 Love Them
Reviewer: SBB from OKC  Thu Aug 17 2006

They work great! I use them with regular rollers. Much better than bobby pins or or other clips.
