Hi, I purchased conair infinity flat iron from the States and I want to use it in Australia. Would this voltage converter be suitable for my product? I need to go down from 240 to 110.

plug adapter for chi flat iron
I just picked a Chi flat iron and it does not work in my outlet of my basement apartment. The oulet is three prong and the iron is two prong. Could i buy an adapter to make it work??? Do Ineed to buy two or three prong???
