NO REPLACEMENT PIC

I am absolutely disappointed in the fact that I am unable to find a replacement pic. The dryer is awesome and still in great working condition. If anyone has any information on a replacement pic please contact me. I would rate this product best but without a replacement pic that leaves me no other choice but to give it an average rating.
Shame on Conair!

I too have recently been trying to find a pik to replace my conair pro plimatic gold. So far no luck. I went to the Conair Website. They have the Hair Pik model# SP5 for $7.99 for sale. Supposed to work with most dryers..But Im not going to buy it unless I know for sure. I tried "searching" for the model of their hair dryer..but it was not found. I attmepted to send them a question on their contact us page..but I would not submit. I keep getting an error message. So I will try to reach their customer care by phone during business hours.. If it works..I will let you know!!!

It seems I am also in agreement with the others. I love this product. As a Black-American, I have very thick hair and have not found a dryer better for drying my hair. I have recently broken the pics from my attachment and have not found a replacement. I still have the dryer but no pic. If I cannot find one I will purchase another dryer-just not this one! It makes no sense to have a dryer that I can use. I will not invest in this product again if there is no attachment for it. What good is it to have such a great dryer and a very cheap pic. It makes me wonder-is Conair out for money or longevity? It's to bad because they are a household name with a bad reputation building!
Please make a replacement pic!!

I absolutely love this hair dryer! I think it is one of the best I have ever used. Unfortunately, I will have to try another brand because there are NO REPLACEMENT PICS!!! Once you lose a few teeth on the original, you are out of luck! The unit is still working very well but I can't use it anymore!

THIS HAIRDRYER WORKS VERY GOOD!!! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I CAN'T FIND A PIC FOR THIS DRYER AN IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! I SPENT MONEY ON THIS HAIRDRYER TIMES ARE HARD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT JUST CAN'T BUY A HAIRDRYER JUST BECAUSE? (THE PIC IS BROKEN) NOW, THEY SHOULD KNOW ALREADY THE KIND OF PROBLEMS THAT PEOPLE CAN HAVE WITH THIS PIC, THATS WHY THEY TEST THE PRODUCT BEFORE THEY DISTRIBUTE...... AS A HAIRSTYLIST I'M VERY UPSET AND I'LL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AND SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER STYLIST

My daughter has VERY thick hair and VERY little patience, so I was on a quest for a hair dryer that would dry all of her hair quickly. Every other dryer we tried just didn't get it completely dry, or if it did it took forever. The ConairPro Plimatic gets the job done and quickly every time!!

I would give this hair dryer an above average rating, however, the only problem I have with this hair dryer is that you cannot find a replacement for the original pick attachment. The other pick attachments available for this hair dryer from the store I purchased this hair dryer from DO NOT fit and they ( the people at the store) don't seem to know anything about how to get another attachment that fits this hair dryer. So I am on my own to find another pick attachment for my hair dryer. This I find is disappointing since the dryer is still working very well. The pick attachment is in great need of replacement. I really do not want to have to buy another hair dryer and if I do I have to make sure whatever hair dryer I purchase has replacement pick attachments for future use, especially since the hair dryer out lasts the pick attachments. Will Conair Pro be the first manufacturer to sell a pick attachment that is the same as the attachment that is originally sold with the product?

I like this product it is a very well put together piece i use it everyday and i can do alot of things with my hair. And also the other items that comes with it is very good cause i tried straightening my hair and it kinda worked. But all I can say is that if you want to blow dry your hair its a very good product.

I have had this dryer for a few years now. I've really liked it as it drys my hair quickly. Usually my hair takes forever to dry. My only complaint is I now need to replace the styling pik as a few of the teeth have broken off. I have looked high and low. None of the "universal" piks fit it including Conair's own brand. I really don't want to buy another dryer but it looks like I may end up having to do that. This time I will be sure to get one that accepts a "universal" pik.

I have long, semi-curly, course hair and like to do my hair both curly and straight. This dryer is fast but it seems to be damaging my hair more than it already is.
I have had the dryer 7 months and it is already starting to die on me. When I style my hair straight it takes about 45 minutes and lately the dryer has been sparking. I can not tell if it is lights from the motor or sparks but I am not taking the chance of burning my hair.

I think that this hair dryer works well, i mean it has 1875 watts which is low, which i like it is less damaging to your hair. I have curly hair and it's very frizzy but i use a diffuser on it, and i love it it holds the curls tight. I do have to put cream on it afterwards so the curlys won't be frizzy and the cream makes the curly more flexible and bouncy, i think i could try another hair dryer though, but this ones alright to use.
