This product worked wonders on my hair. I was not expecting my hair to come out this great. I washed my hair with biolage normalizing shampoo, towel dried my hair very well then applied colora henna and used the cap that is included in the box. I left the henna on my hair for about 3hrs and then rinsed it out, put a conditioner all over for to sit about 2 minutes and my hair rinsed out softer than ever! The color was so natural I was amazed and everyone else loved it too! Highly recommend this brand of henna and folica service. No burning or itching on my scalp either and I have bad scalp problems.

I loved the results that I got from using the Colora Henna Cream! My hair is naturally light auburn - I didn't so much want to drastically change my haircolor, but I did want to deepen the color a bit & bring out more of the brown. I decided to go with Brown (as the results said that for red hair using brown would leave you with "Chestnut" haircolor). I had read some other reviews before I had decided to give Colora a chance, and among those was one that had said the person had put the henna on, put the wrap on, and then wrapped her hair with a towel & left over night...so - I tried her method (6 hours) Amazingly, Colora Henna did exactly what it said it would - my hair is a warm chestnut, with softness & shine! I thought - THIS IS JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! I was sure that given 1-2 days the softness & shine would fade...but it's been over a week & my hair is still just as shiny & soft as it was the first day. It's not very often you come along a product that is as good as it claims to be; Ironically, I think Colora doesn't brag enough about how great a product they have. I recommend anyone who would maybe like to enhance their hair color, and condition it -definitely go with Colora Henna over any other henna produt. It is already mixed, ready to apply, and has perfect results. I am hooked on Colora Henna after the first try! Thank you for having a product that truly has integrity!

At first I was very skeptical regarding henna products, I had heard some very interesting stories (Bozo the Clown, anyone?).
However, my natural hair color is a drab, mousy brown and I was looking for a change.
I am VERY sensitive and chemicals were out of the question so I tried my first henna product, Hennalucent.
Hennalucent did an okay job that didn't last very long, it was also very hard to rinse and rather uneven in color.
The next henna I tried was Colora (in the bottle) and WOW was it better!
It made my hair look just wonderful and the color was completely even.
Henna hair color ages gracefully so you can touch it up whenever it's convenient for you or simply let it grow out, no harsh regrowth.
The box says an hour but I recommend longer, I put it on before watching a movie.
The color gets richer the longer it's on, and it never damages the hair.
One thing I must say is that the powdered hennas are AWEFUL. Imagine rubbing manure on your head, no thanks.
The bottled henna is the best and has no unpleasant odor.
The price is unbeatable and the results are SO nice.
Be sure to hit your hair up with some good conditioner when you're done, that will help set the color.
Also, I suggest buying more than you think you'll need, better to have more than less.
Bear in mind though, you won't be able to bleach or perm your hair after using henna.
Henna bonds itself to your hair shaft and protects it from many things, including the chemicals in bleach and perms.
If you're okay with this then it's the product for you!
I am very happy with my new red hair, people think it's natural.
It's healthier than ever and the shine and gloss is enough to make anyone jealous, lol.
NOTE: There is a reason it doesn't include a sample of the shade on the box. The resulting color of the henna depends entirely on you. It depends greatly on your natural hair color, how much you use and how long you leave it on.
DON'T USE ANY OTHER HENNA BESIDES THIS PRODUCT

I used colora henna for seven years, I love dying my hair and using different colors, so you can see how using chemical dyes would have totally frazzed out my hair. I have very thin, naturally silky hair so the henna not only keeps it healthy, but the plant particles make each strand a little thicker so my hair just looked healthier. I moved, and couldn't get Colora Henna from my usual spot anymore, so I tried a different product, the Hennaluscent henna. It was awful, the color never turned out right and what's worse, it left green pigmentation in my hair that I can't get out! I put in highlights a few months after using heenaluscent and the blonde streaks had chunks of green in them. Now, I have dark brown/black hair, and you can't tell at all, and I've gone back to using Colora Henna. It's NEVER left deposits like that in my hair and now with the cream version it's a LOT easier to use.
If you're considering hennaing your hair, USE THIS PRODUCT. It's safe and you won't have any disators. And it works beautifully!

This is the first time I have used a henna. I used the Auburn Colora Henna Creme. My natural color is a light brown with a lot of gray. It has been almost three weeks since applying it and I still do not see any gray peeking through like I did when I used a chemical dye. The henna also conditioned my hair making it very shiny and a lot less dry looking. I highly recommend this product.

I like the fact that it's organic, but unfortunately, I have to wash my hair daily, and the color just doesn't stay in beyond a few days.

Im not sure how I feel about this product...as it claims to be all natural but it made my head burn a bit...and stained my sink upon contact to the point where I couldn't remove the discoloration. I've been a long time henna user and henna never stains like that nor burns...so I am a little suspect and wary,I am wondering if it may contain metallic salts..however there is no company contact information on the box. The result were underwhelmingly. I do like the consistancy, and the fact that it is pre-mixed, but Im not sure its worth the trade off.

I have medium brown hair (fine/straight) and have some grey coming in --- enough through my hair that when I pulled it back u can see it.... so i didn't want to start going to the salon for coloring and remember how it changed my naturally silky textured hair to a little rougher so I decided to try colora henna creme...
I read all the positive reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. I shampooed and towel-dried my hair and then combed it (i use a wide-tooth comb for wet hair). I then snipped the top of the bottle and proceeded to squirt it throughot my hair and mush it in with my fingers (they supply Gloves & the Cap) so wear your gloves! **For girls w/ long hair: Be sure to cover your shoulders/arms with a towel or one of those colorist's capes, otherwise you can't help but get the color on you from the long hair swinging around- but it easily comes off w/ water****
Then I used 90% of the bottle and got my hair pretty covered. I just kept squirting the color and trying to blend it in. This took about 10 minutes and then about 3 mins. to clean up (i have long hair) :)
Then I put the cap that they supply you with on my head - it looks like a bag, just put it on your head and pull up the ends and tie it at the top, center part of your forehead and it stayed on that way.
I set the timer for 1 hour, knowing i can go to 2hours, as I have read , but was a little nervous - i never color my hair, so figured i'll try it for 1hr. The bell rang and it was about 1hr. 5 mins. with the cap on, and 10 mins. for beginning the application, so figure
1 hr and 15 mins. total time that color was on my hair.
I hopped in the shower and proceeded to rinse it out.
THE RESULT:
As tI rinsed my hair it quickly rinsed to clear water. No mess at all in the shower. I was impressed. There was like one messy splash. Not a big deal. My hair was SUPER SILKY AND SOFT - beautiful!
It didn't feel different from before, just BETTER. Then I decided it might be a good idea to put some Conditioner in my hair (i used one for color-treated hair- Matrix Colorsmart) and boy oh boy that combination made my hair even SILKIER AND SOFTER AND GLOSSY SHINE - not even shiny GLOSSY!!!! Beautiful.
I dried my hair w/ the blow dryer, not until it was "bone dry" but enough so I wouldn't get sick w/ the a/c on.... you know?
Anyway, i couldn't see any gray - THE GRAY WAS GONE & REPLACED W/ GOLDISH COLOR. I used CHESTNUT ......BEAUTIFUL!
I woke up this morning and washed and dried and flat ironed my hair as usual and got compliments and imy hair looked beautiful, most importantly - the texture was gorgeous - improved, and silkier, totally healthy feeling and my natural color and highlights showed through - but perfectly. Rich color, but natural....
I told everyone I know who colors their hair w/ ammonia & peroxide to give Colora Henna a try - but test strip it first if u have colored hair. See how it works.
Give this a try - I'm a picky person to impress and I AM IMPRESSED!
$4.95? Unbeatable. FOLICA.COM SHIPPED ASAP. ORDERED AT 1PM, AND GOT IT THE NEXT DAY!!!! SUPER FAST, AWESOME SERVICE.
Hope this helps you all! :)

I've only used the powdered - which is a bit messy & smells like spinach - but I'll happily put up with that because the finished effect is outstanding: terrific, natural colour, incredibly shiney & healthy looking hair; it's like an amazing deep conditioning treatment that makes my hair feel revitalized - I always get positive comments on the look & shine of my hair afterwards. What's more this is an all natural product (and has never once damaged my hair like the chemical brands do), it's not tested on animals, it's cheap & it's definitely worth a try. I use a henna about once every 8 months; the long-lasting colour fades slowly & very naturally. Love it!

I have used this product for more than 10 years and I love it!! It is ideal for me because I hate permanent color products for hair. They are not healthy at all, not only for your health but also to your pocket$$$. This product not only gives color but fortifyies and brings shine to your hair. The more you use it the more color you get. It's awesome!!! Additional: I loved folica's service.

I was glad to find a product that is chemical free (natural), however, the product doesn't seem to last very long. Also it is kind of messy. I will probably keep using it though, b/c I like the fact that it is natural & there really are not many options for DIY hair color.

I found this product to be extremely easy to use. The powder form seemed to condition much better, but was like applying paste to your hair, so it was hard to saturate it evenly. I left it on for one and a half hours and it did work. My hair has a nice golden hue (I have dirty blone hair with an ashy tone). I think if I use 2 bottles next time (I have long hair) it would probably work better. It's a good and easy to use henna. I would recommend it.

I got better results using this product that I have been getting at the hair salon and paying $50 each appointment for coloring. It adds a lot of fullness/body and adds a lot of shine. My hair is light-medium brown with gray mixed in. I liked the different tones, the lighter color tones to the gray hair which makes it look so natural looking. It covers gray very very well and is super easy which is another plus! I have already ordered more for next time!!

I used colora henna for many years now and know people who have used it for more than 20 years. I found it very good. However, I wish that you would include a sample of the "color" on the box. I got a lot of surprises because I could not tell what the color looks like before I buy it.

I used Colora Henna for well over ten years and never had a problem. My sensitive skin never reacted, my hair was strong, shiny and received compliments daily. My spring and summer colour was Buttercup Blonde although I would switch to Wheat Blonde for the winter.
One day I decided to throw caution to the wind and I cut my hair quite short. Apparently, sometime since I was a kid, it became dark and curly. My shock was so great that I tried Excellence by L'Oreal. It ate away chunks of my scalp although a patch test was negative. After that I tried a variety of other products but they can't match Colora Henna (veg powder) for consistency, quality or satisfaction.
