I just hang mine to dry over a clean bottle or on a clean towel rack if I had one open. Any way for it to get a lot of air and dry quickly will minimize mildew and the less time it spends wet the less time bacteria has to grow.

I use once a day at night. When I first purchased the mitt I used it twice a day but that was way too much. It really clans the skin thoroughly. I do not use it with soap or cleanser, as it really gets the grime out of the pores from the day due to makeup, sunscreen, dust, etc.

They don't offer a recommendation on the package but another set of microfiber cloths I have say you should replace every 200 uses as the fiber wears out. I'd buy a new one every six months to be safe, and when you get a new one you should be able to feel the difference in effectiveness - the fiber is just more 'grippy', if that makes sense.
