The Uncolor System Hair color remover Works GREAT!!! After an even application onto hair shaft place client under a warm dryer for 5 or so minutes just to get the molecules moving. Make sure hair is covered with a plastic cap so the hair is always moist with product. Make sure dryer is blowing warm even temperatured air distributed around the head. Then all you need to do is watch the color lift. It will lift slowly, which is best for the integrity of the hair for future chemical application. Once desired lift is reached always gently rinse product out using barely warm water thoroughly before shampooing, Always hold hair in your hands lifting up the hair, separating it while running water though it, starting at the scalp following all the way down to the ends of the hair. Gently shampoo and condition. I love this product,.. it is way more healthy for the hair than BLEACH!!! If you are not getting the proper results than go back and reread the directions,.. notice for extra lift it is 1 envelop to 2 and a 1/2 oz of 20 volume developer. Always start with dry hair. I hope this helps,....
Uncolor SEMI permanent Haircolor Remover submitted by: Karen, Fri Mar 18 2005

If you read the directions, it clearly states that this product will ONLY remove semi permanent or temporary haircolor in addition to styling build up. If you have ever put haircolor on your head, that you have needed to mix 2 bottles together (color and developer), you are either using a demi (level 2 on the box at a store) or a permanent color (level 3 on the box). Uncolor Semi-Permanent Haircolor remover is not strong enough. Try using this to remove Loving Care & Fancifull (a semi and a temporary color) for example and it will work.

I found the powder packet of Uncolor to work better. Simply add water to it and watch the color lift. I'm not certain, but I believe that it is stronger than the liquid.
