Absolutely love the way it looks! It straightens good, but wouldn't recommend for long hair. Definitely worth the price.

I ordered this flat iron to take as a travel iron instead of my Chi. I HATE IT. It does not flatten hair and the plates have a little gap, so it does not have constant touch with your hair. I wish I could return it!

If you have a very long hair I don't recommended.

When my Superstar flat iron started to die after six years (it still straightened great but the power wouldn't stay on unless the cord was held in a certain place), I began looking for a replacement. I was hoping to find something a bit cheaper than the Superstar, so I picked up the Chameleon.
The Chameleon is pretty, I'll give it that. Its plates might also be great at straightening hair; however, I'll never know because even with it clamped down as tight as I could get it, the plates barely touched my hair and certainly didn't make enough contact to do any actual straightening - and my hair isn't exactly thin. After a couple minutes of fooling around with it and trying to get it to do ANYTHING to my hair, I gave up and plugged in the Superstar. The Chameleon is quite possibly the prettiest hair straightener I've ever seen; however, it's form far exceeds its function. I would not recommend this flat iron to anyone.

This flat iron is amazing.I had a conair straightner which did nothing for my hair. I have very fine hair and with this flat iron my hair is just so smooth and takes away the frizzies and my hair just looks healthy. I would definately tell everyone to buy this!!! And the colors are really cool!!

I currently have a sedu and just bought the chameleon. i have the sedu in a 1.5" and wish the chameleon also came in that size -- maybe I would be able to compare the two more fairly. anyways, i still feel the sedu is the better straightener. it takes me less time to straighten my hair with the sedu and it seems to get hotter than the chameleon, despite the fact that the chameleon says it gets up to 430F. Also, I feel the chameleon doesn't grab my hair tight enough, making it harder to straighten. That said, I think the chameleon is a decent straightener, but the sedu works better and is cheaper.

This is a very good iron. I have tried them all, Paul Borwn, Solia, Sedu, name it. The Chameleon leaaves my hair soft and shiny, without snagging as some irons do. I would definitely recommend it.

I've had a lot of flat irons over the years I've gone thru probably about 6 of them. Almost all of them broke down eventually. The Chameleon is AMAZING - looks fantastic and works wonders! I have long, layered and highlighted hair that needs the use of a flat iron all the time, otherwise my hair ends up all nappy. I also needed a flat iron that heated up fast and worked fast since I'm on the go, plus one that would keep my hair straight the entire day/night. I heard so much from my stylist about this particular flat iron, so I decided to get one. I'm so happy I did! Even though it's over $100, it is so worth every dollar! This flat iron gets so hot, and straightens my hair so quickly...in less than 10 minutes! That's fast considering my hair is long and thick! Past flat irons would take about 40 minutes and the straightening wouldn't even last. The Chameleon last all day (even thru NYC humidity), and even if I put my hair in a ponytail or use a hat, the straightening stays! The iron is good looking, so is my hair!.

I got this iron as a gift and tried it out. AMAZING!!! It is sooo smooth going through your hair and your hair comes out incredibly silky. The color scheme is awesome as well, I love how the colors interchange. I highly recommend this iron.
