ITS BEST IF YOU GO TO YOUR COSMETOLOGIST AND GET YOUR HAIR RELAXED AND HAIR DRYED AND THEN MAINTAIN IT WITH THE IRON BUT NOT ON DAILY BASIS.

It has a 2 yr warranty. You can send it back to Conair w/$5 for a replacement. I've had to do this twice & I am going to get a Solia & use this one for a backup.
