This product is so much better on your hair instead of a curling iron. It is also a lot easier to use especially on long hair. I recommend it highly.
Love this Product

Have been using the Caruso Hair Setters for many, many years. Love the way it curls and gives body to your hair. The curls and or body stay in all day. Will never be with out one. Your hair doesn't break or get burned as it does with curling irons. It's fun experimenting with the large rollers for the straight look or using the smaller ones for lots of curls!

I was so happy to find the Caruso Salon Pro 30 Steam Hairsetter on your site ! I have been to more stores than I care to remember, and it was right here at Folica. If you have hard to curl hair like I do you will love this set ! My husband has never seen my hair look so good. Everything about my order with Folica was excellent, from ordering right to shipping right to my door. Thank you so much,,Dawn, Charlotte N.C.
Best Hot Roller System on the market !!

I have used this system for over 15 years and would use no other ! I am on my 3rd steamer but they seem to last a very long time before they wear out. I sometimes panic wondering what I will do if this company ever decides not to manufacture this product any longer. I realize the current steamer is alot smaller than the original but I do wish they would come out with something a little smaller for traveling. It is a little bulky in the makeup case ! But otherwise, I am a very happy consumer !!
Oh well

I used these rollers for about a month and loved them. The steam is great for your hair and I loved the compact design. However, the unit took longer and longer to start steaming until it finally quit altogether, withouth any explanation. I'm going with another brand.

This is the third Caruso Hairsetter system I have used and I love them. I have been using this system for about 16 years. I like the way my hair is not damaged by the system. I have very fine, straight hair, that is hard to hold a curl without a perm. I have not used a perm since I began using the system. Everyone says my hair always looks as though I just left the salon from having it professionally done. I have used it on my grandaughters hair and they love it!
This is worth buying

my mom bought this for me back in the mid-80s (the rectangular, purple unit), and believe it or not, it STILL works! i have naturally curly hair, and i sometimes like to straighten it with a CHI, then use the caruso the next day. the steam is definitly better than using yet another heating element for curl. plus, you can always use the unit for steam facials as well!
i would definitly rate it at 4 stars. it might not be for everyone, but for my hair type, it works well!
A surprise

I purchased my first Caruso Hairsetter over 20 years ago, it was square and you had to add salt. Believe it or not, it's still going strong but it IS a little bulky, so when I saw the new, more compact models, I packed up my old one and excitedly awaited delivery of my brand new Hairsetter, with brand new rollers and everything!
Unfortunately, when I got it and tried it the first time, it didn't emit enough steam. I tried to trouble-shoot it as directed in the pamphlet, but even that didn't work. So, I had to return it for an exchange. Hopefully the one they send to me this time will work. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this doesn't happen often - and heck, in the meantime I can still use my old machine. I'm telling you women ... this product SAVES your hair ... I've not had a split end in over 20 years and I've permed it, dyed it, hot-rolled it, ratted it ... the Caruso machine is one of the most wonderful haircare products on the market today.

I RECENTLY ORDER THE CURLERS FOR MY DAUGHTER. THE WAY THAT FOLICA HANDLED MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND INFORMED ME OF MY RECEIPT AND CONTACT NUMBER MADE ME FEEL VERY SECURE. I RECEIVED MY ORDER WITHIN TEN DAYS. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH YOUR WEBSITE.
Works great on fine hair!

These rollers work great on my fine hair. I have used the Richard Caruso steam rollers for the past 15 years, and my old unit finally quit steaming. I was really glad to find that they were still around. The only thing I don't like about the newer model, is the placement of the roller cover over the steam. I have steamed my fingers more than once trying to put them on the little stops on the slanted top. The old unit was flat on top, and you just had to set the roller cover over the steam hole.
Best I have found

I still have the older version that uses salt. Better than the newer version. When your foam wears out just go to walmart and buy Goody foam rollers and slide on the curler. They work great!
never again

I had my orginal hairsetter for years and was quite pleased with it. A few months ago I ordered a new set and after only a few months it quit. Wanting to be fair and wanting to give the product the benefit of the doubt I ordered another set only to have it quit after a few weeks. To spend $39.95 twice has certainly not been worth it.

I had my original set (blue) for over 10 years and the heating element quit. I went out about 8months ago and purchased the new one currently advertised and the heating element or electic connecting no longer works. I did love the way it worked.
GREAT!!!

I live in the Florida Keys, and with the humidity, hair setting is practically impossible. The curly does not stay as tight as I would like all day long, but I recommend this product!
Not easy to use, too slow

The Caruso SalonPro 30 Molecular Steam Hairsetter takes too long to set your hair. The rollers are hard to use and most are too large. I am very dissatisfied with this product.
Caruso hairsetter truths

I have used the Caruso Hairsetter for about 20 years now and I think it is the best curler you can buy. I love the way it's not hot against my skull and it takes like 10 minutes to set for curls that will last for days! I have heard people say they don't like the frizz factor, but all you have to do is use gel in your hair when it's wet and dry it and it does just fine. I can't say enough about this product and regular curlers and curling irons are a thing of the past for me.
You MUST be joking. ..

i bought this worthless piece of crap based on everyone's reviews, well, now i know better.
my peeves with it
* you have to heat up each roller, 1 by 1. takes some time when you have about 15-20 of them
* since its' steam, it leaves your hair wet, so you have to wait for it to dry on the rollers. i had to use a blow dryer to speed it up after it would not dry after 20 minutes.
* there was absolutely BARELY any curls, and the little that there was, they fell apart in a matter of hours.
* the clips on the rollers are HORRIBLE! they leave a crimp at the root, which looks terrible if you are trying to have a wave hairstyle, and they fall off your hair. and i have shoulder length hair.
seriously, the $20 Conair rollers i have work so much better, and not to mention much quicker.
so not worth it.
My hair loves this product!

I have used Caruso since the first infomercial! I still use the original (add salt) Caruso for special events. The newer version doesn't hold the curl as well as the old version, but I still look good! I use my new Caruso every day and have not had any problems yet with the steamer. I did notice that the curls fall into soft waves after a few hours in the desert heat, but with my super fine stick straight hair, the soft waves are shiny and healthy looking. Thanks!
WONDERFUL product for all hair types!!!

I have used the Caruso hairsetter for over 10 years. My hair is chemical relaxed, past my shoulders, and a bit fine. Nothing keeps a curl in my hair except the Caruso, not curling irons, foam rollers, hard rollers, or even dryer sets that take up a half of a day. My curls really last ALL DAY LONG when I use the Caruso. It also adds fullness. This is my third system. The 1st used salt and still works great, the second was the travel sized and was purchased only for the extra rollers. Now this new one was purchased for the rollers as well. After years of repeated use the rollers are crumbling and falling apart. I always get compliments on my hair when I use the Caruso hairsetter. Nothing else even compares!!!! GREAT PRODUCT:)
