I like everything about this compact product EXCEPT: it would be nice if the area around the post pin were designed so that you could also position the roller clamp over it somehow. I realize that the clamps come in different sizes, but you suggest that holding the clamp over the steam for a few seconds makes your hair set better. This is hard to do without burning your fingertips. And the clamp doesn't rest over the opening because of the way the top surface slants. Must be some design that would solve this. Otherwise I have always found Caruso products to be the best way to avoid having to get a chemical permanent wave, which damages my hair.
