Will never use anything else

I just found this website because I went to buy a new molecular hair setter. My old one is working just fine but I want an extra to keep in a travel-ready bag. I was actually AFRAID when I got to target and couldn't find one. Mine is so old, I was worried they just don't make them anymore. I do a lot of processing to my hair and this allows me to style it without damaging it further. The curl is soft and natural looking and it's ten times faster than a curling iron (again, without the damage too!). I would recommend this product to anyone. It takes a couple times to get the hang of it, but once you do, you'll never want to go back to traditional curlers and curling irons.

I was so glad that I was able to replace my old Molecular Hairsetter (Happy 3 Way Traveler) that I had purchased when it first came out by the Celeste Co. (about 20 years ago). I loved what it did to my hair then and when it stop working, I could not find it anywhere in the stores, I than searched the internet and found it. I was delighted and I don't have to add salt to the water and my hair is so soft and bouncy once again.
THANK YOU!!

Hair won't hold curl?? This is the answer!

I have thick, course hair that won't hold curl and my friend has fine, thin hair with no body. These rollers work great on both!! I've been using this product for about 15 years and every one I recommend try it, loves it! Don't get frustrated...it takes a few times to get a feel for how to use it (be sure and tap all the water out of the roller cover), but once you figure out what works best for your hair, you won't know how you lived without it!
Love it

I've had my caruso curler set for years and I love it. I curl my friends hair for her son wedding and everybody asked her where did she get her curlie hair from in just an hour. They thought that she had a perm put in her hair and when she told them she just had caruso curler in her hair for 5 minutes and her hair can out just like she wanted. Now she wants to buy one for her self. She said it's was a god set to all women and it's easy to use and most of all it doesn't dry out your hair like hot curlers does. My friend was surprised that I didn't put any kind of mouse or jell in her hair when I curled her hair. I just curled her hair and waited 5 minutes and took them out and ran my finger through her hair and said she just wanted to leave it just like that . So I put a little hair spray in her hair. She was suprised that her curles stayed for two day. Now she wants a set of her own. So she'll be ordering a set of her own soon. She said she was going to tell everyone she knows about your curlers.

If it's a new Caruso unit, then I'd give it a rating of 5 stars. But I'm finding that the units just don't last. The last time I bought the units, I discovered a replacement form that included the steamer on the list. However, when I called the contact on the form (Helen of Troy), they said that they no longer sell the steamers. When I asked about options, they said to go ahead and buy another complete set. I have more curlers than I know what to do with!

I've been using a Caruso steam setter for almost 15 years now. I never, ever, ever want to use anything else! My old one stopped steaming -- I started scheming. My straight hair desperately needed something! I tried to find one around here and couldn't so I went online as fast as I could to get one. In the meantime, I purchased one of those hot roller things, spent 15 minutes waiting for it to heat up, and then had to leave the rollers in my hair for 15 to 20 minutes to cool. Then, I went outside and within an hour, my hair was straight! The Caruso starts steaming quickly and about the time I get my hair rolled, I can start taking them out. And these curls last ALL DAY. Nothing else every worked for my straight, straight hair. I hope they never stop making these!

Foam Replacement

My particular rollers didn't come apart so I couldn't replace with the sponge rollers. You can buy foam pad by the foot at the fabric store and replace old foam on rollers. You can get it the thickness you need and cut it to the exact size of roller. Also the foam is more durable Cut it to fit roller and hand stitch it down the side. Can't live without my Caruso. So glad they are making them again. My steamer last 6 months to a year.If I use distilled water, they last longer. When they weren't available in stores, I resorted to Ebay but hate the thought of Used hair products. Scared of lice and such. So glad I can come to this website and know I can get a New one. Thanks.

Super response by folica. Confirmation, and tracking were great. Got the product within 5 days.
Have use Caruso for many years. It is an excellent product. My old one was not cleaned too well (by me) so after 6 years I thought I would replace it (the steamer part).

I can't think of anything more essential to my hair styling than the Caruso Steam Hairsetter. I have used these hairsetters daily for years and wouldn't use anything else. They are everything they are advertised to be -- small, yet durable. The steam arises within seconds, no waiting for the traditional hairsetters. And because it uses steam, it is not so destructive to my hair. I have also given them as gifts to my teenage daughters and to my mother. Very affordable and makes a great gift. Best of all, the steamer does not take up a lot of room and it packs easily when I go to various business trips or on vacation. Again, a very worthwhile produce that I am happy to evaluate.

The Caruso Steam Hairsetter gives me great curls in 5 minutes. It is so easy to use and easy to take along on a trip. It works great on my hair and actually holds the curl for several days. I love it.

I bought two of these and within a month, they both stopped producing steam. I'm very discouraged because my old one worked for years and years. What's up?>?

I used the pink salty curler for years and absolutely loved it! I can not get these new models to work well. I've had two now and neither put out any steam after the first couple of weeks. I love the steam curlers because they are so gentle on fine hair..no split ends. But, I really would like to find a pink salty one again. Please Help!!
caruso rollers are the BEST ever

I have bone straight hair, and I can style it in so many ways using this setter. Once the hair is dry, put on the rollers, then give an extra shot of steam on each roller. This really is the key to stronger hold. I really love the super jumbo rollers, like pamela anderson's hair. tiny rollers for a spiral look, and medium for a mix-match combo.

I also have been using caruso rollers since day one and wouldn't trade it for the world! I lucked out by catching a store going out of business and bought 2 of them, that was about 20 years ago and I'm still using them. I love old salty and hope they will last forever. I have bought new rollers just to get more and they are still working. I need new covers as mine are stretched out..lol but considering how long they last what's another $10 bucks! Thanks for the tip though some of my rollers are getting a little "spungy",no pun intended, I will try out those pink rollers. I usually purchase mine at "Sally's".
Thanks for the tip

Hey everyone. Thanks for the tip to replace just the foam part of the rollers with the store find sponge rollers. I was just searching the internet for discount places to buy replacement rollers. I agree they are expensive. Thanks so much.
