This product works really well with my Chi. Some products out there left my hair feeling stiff when using my Chi with them, however this leaves your hair feeling soft and smells GREAT! You do have to use only a small amount or it will leave your hair feeling greasy. Make sure you apply enough on the ends because they tend to be a little more dry!
It's pretty good.

The people who wrote the tips gave pretty good advice like the one that says a little goes a long way it really does. If you put too much your hair will look greasy.

As a cosmotologist, im always looking for the next best thing to keep my hair healthy, soft, and shiny! Since my hair is very long and curly, i put in the silk infusion drops when its wet and blow dry in as straight as possible. I then put in another small amount all the way through the hair( mostly focusing on the ends). After i have straightened it, i reapply it again to the hair. You can do this sort of reapplication with this product because if its used in small amounts it doesnt leave the hair oily or greasy. Its an absolutly fabulous product that i have been using for over 2 years and havent found anything better!

This is best leave in treatment I have used thus far. It leaves my hair silky smooth and it's great to use with my Sedu flat iron. Has a nice scent to it as well. Highly recommend! (My hair is is normally tight curls, but when straight it can get frizzy and fly away. The Chi Serum tamed my hair really well!)
Good product, woudl buy again

Leaves your hair feeling smooth and silky. I can see why it might not be so great for very fine hair because it would just make it look even finer since a little goes a long way. Other than that, great product. Oh, and it does smell like men's cologne, but once you put it on your hair, the smell goes away.
Need more for thick hair

I thought this product to be a bit overrated. It's a thick, oily mixture that adds shine and oil to your hair but I have had to use a lot of it at once. My hair is thick, and about an inch past my shoulders. It's too expensive for the amount I need to use each time. May work better if your hair is shorter or not as thick (or permed straight).
I have since switched to a spray shine by Design Essentials that seems to spread more of the oil throughout my hair more evenly.
the best yet

I have tried so msny conditioners on my color treated dried out crop of hair. This by far is the best I have found. It moisturizes without leaving my hair oily and does not make my scalp itch, which happens with some of the hair products I have used. This is a product I would recommend and will buy again:)

This works pretty good. It is not the best I have used, but I do feel like it protects my hair when I use the straight iron or ceramic curling iron. It did leave parts of my hair a little weighed down, but nothing too bad. Nice product.

I like the results but the smell is overwhelming (and not in a good way). It reeks of cheap old man cologne. I can't believe how popular this stuff is considering the scent seems very outdated (Or maybe it's just a cultural/demographic thing?)
Didn't work for me!

I've read tons of reviews glorifying its affects. To me, it has the same consistency as Garnier Fructis' Sleek and Shine Serum(which also doesn't work). The Silk Infusion literally evaporated off my hair! It didn't leave it "silky" and I had to apply it several time before it stop evaporating. I'm African American/Indian with curly thin hair and it didn't work on me! ...I'm happy I got itfor free because the near twenty dollars it costs isn't worth it at all.
Love it

This product fixes rough feeling hair, split ends, etc. It smells wonderful. Not one day do I go without it. I use it on my 4 year old daughter and my 4 month old yorkie after baths.

Miracle in a bottle - no kidding

I originally purchased this in hopes it work work a miracle for my daughter's hair. She is four and has always had what we affectionately call "duckling hair" in the mornings. The back of her hair is basically a huge rats nest and sticks straight back like a little duckling tail. As a result her hair is hard to untangle and painful for her when I try - it never really looks smooth even after brushing and tends to want to pop back up even after brushing - and it has become very damaged from all of the above. I've tried several serums and conditioners but none gave any real results after her going to bed. She has very fine hair and shoulder length - so I used only the smallest pea sized drop concentrating most in back and then rubbed my hands through the rest. Dried with the CHI hairdryer and it looked shiny and healthy. The miracle was the next morning when we didn't even need to use detangler spray - just an easy comb through and it was perfect. I couldn't have been more pleased.
Of course I used it on myself the next night (good thing I got the big bottle). Same thing happened for me. I towel dried - put in a pea sized amt (I have a chin length bob for ref), just a bit more for good measure and dried with the CHI. It looked quite good and had a lovely soft texture that my hair has only felt before at the salon. And the same thing happened to me - the next morning - it looked like I had just styled my hair. I literally ran myhadn through it and it looked great - this NEVER happens to my hair. It's usually a crazy mess in the morning. So believe me - this stuff is great. The smell is fine - but that is really besides the point entirely - get this stuff because it will do amazing things to your hair. You won't know how you lived without it - oh and get the BIG bottle! This is a good price compared to other stores I've seen it in.

SILK INFUSION pretty much infuses silk into your hair haha its really good if you straighten your hair because it comes out shiny and silky smooth. i recommend! it does have a smell of a male's cologne but its not strong since you only put a little in your hair or else it will look too greasy. but its great!
tried the rest, this is best!!

Been using CHI Silk infusion for a month now and LOVE it! I have used Redken, Matrix, John Frieda and none quite do what this does for my normally very wavy, dry, brittle hair. I use a lot of heat styling including a flat iron and the results are incredible. I am constantly getting compliments. My hair looks like a pro styled it!! I use it wet before blow drying, then smooth a drop on before flat ironing...TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

My beauty operator introduced this to me a few years ago when it 1st came out. I have long, thin, fragile, straight hair...so it doesn't take much abuse from me to cause problems. I use this after towel drying my hair.....it smells great, you only use a dime size amount.....& it keeps your hair shiny, break-free, & gives it an all over healthier look. Especially great if you use hair dryers, color/dye/frost hair because it strengthens the entire hair. I love it & have been using it for at least 3 years now.
