bought this for my wife and she loves it. a friend of ours used to be a hairstylist and she said this site has the best price for the quality of product! shipping was fair and quick. definitely recommend.

I have bought 4 hair dryers in the past 40 days. The chi nano, the chi rocket, and the t3 featherweight. All i can say is that the chi rocket is the best one. The chi nano has too little power 1.4 watts and it seems to be is only made for fine hair. The T3 after using it several times (16 times) it didnt blow the same amount of hot hair it was blowing it when i used the first time.
Look no further, this one is the best one... Of course, the T3 dryes your hair a little faster, and leaves your hair more shiny, however, it seems to be that it has quality problems. They have to make it more resistant to constant use.
LOVE IT!!

I have thick, curly hair that I have relaxed every 6 months or so but I still need to use a straightening iron everyday. I needed a blowdryer that will help straighten my hair and get rid of the frizzyness so I don't spend so much time straightening. This blowdryer does the trick. I LOVE IT. I could almost go without using my straightener and that could NEVER be done before. I tried many other blowdryers before but never bought one that cost so much and I must say it is well worth the money. My hair is straighter, shiner and less frizzy after using it just once.

I just recently got this CHI Rocket blowdryer for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I don't know about any of you other women but I love going to the Salon to get my hair done and one of my favorite parts is the washing and blowdrying. This blowdryer makes me feel as if I am at the Salon (except the fact that I have to do it). I would tell anyone who is wanting an up scale blow dryer, that drys your hair fast and does not require much use of the Chi flat iron afterwards, to purchase this blow dryer.

the Chi Rocket was a great find! it cuts down drying time by half, if not more. I have long, thick hair and drying usually took a good 15 minutes. But with the Chi, I'm done in about 7. it's great, light, and easy to handle. I highly recommend.

I bought this product in late November of 2007. I have thick coarse frizzy hair with flyaways, and a crazy half-curl/wave that comes to my shoulders. I looked through these reviews looking for a replacement of my broken and beloved BaByliss CarreraPro.
What I wanted:
Heat options (at least 2 heat/speed settings and a cold shot)
Ceramic/Ionic technology
Tourmaline technology if possible
Frizz reduction
Speedy Drying
Lightweight device
1750 or more watts for power
A good warranty
Low price
Good return policy
What I got:
LOTS OF HEAT - Maybe it is right for some people, but I've never *needed* heat protection products before using this. Both air flow settings were HOT and HOTTER and I could smell burning hair just about every other time I used it. The heat damage to my hair has increased frizz and hair breakage, and has left me very tangly.
Increased frizz, and my flyaway hair would stick straight up without product, unlike anything I'd ever experienced. This blow dryer has increased my need for product instead of the decrease I was anticipating. BIG let down. I have used cheaper blow dryers (with short life expectancies, unfortunately) that produced MUCH better results with no visible damage.
Increased drying time - one of the reasons I moved to professional tools was to cut down my time using heat on my hair. This blow dryer boasts 1800 watts like my BaByliss had, but the air speed/power was AWFUL. High constant heat with little drying caused my hair to FLUFF out like crazy when I was finished, which called for another round with my round brush after my hair had dried. That's another 10 minutes spent with my hair under attack just to get it to the right shape.
The one year warranty is a disappointment for how much people are spending on this product. This was DOUBLE the cost of the last blow dryer I owned, and HALF as good. If the other dryer had a better lifespan, I'd happily pay this much for it. The BaByliss CarreraPro also had a 2 year warranty, for anyone keeping track.
The attachments bundled in this purchase. . . well, I can't tell you one way or another. I wasn't willing to put this dryer so close to my hair after feeling the heat it generates. If heat is what you're looking for, this is probably a great buy for you. For anyone like me, don't bet on this one.
I'm going to return this for the Sedu Ultrapower Professional Hair Dryer. It doesn't have fancy light display on the side, but it's the same price as this, and has better reviews. Good luck on your search!

I ordered two of Chi Rocket Professional hairdryers and had to return both of them. They didn't blow out hot air, only cold each time.

I have very curly hair and have always had problems straighting my hair. Since I purchased the Rocket, I blow dry my hair in 30 min. instead if one hour followed by another 20 min. with a flat iron. I would highly recommend this product.

I have medium lengh curly hair..and is a mom to 4 year old twin boys...I never had time to straigten my hair and when I did it took 45 min. With this dryer my hair is straight & shinny in 15 min. I have received so many complimants on hair since I've started using this dryer...I love it so much, I bought one for my sister for Christmas.

I am a typically redhead with extremly curly, frizzy and dry hair. Already having a chi flatiron what i like a lot but still not use to often i thought touching it up with a chi rocket dryer would help me even more straightening my hair and keep it frizz free! I bought it 2 days ago and had to bring it back today! There is no difference to my regular Revlon Ceramic 35$ Hairdryer! It's even more frizzy and dry with the Chi Rocket! It is very fast, but my hair looked worse than ever! It may work for people with straight, thick hair but people with curls and frizz, be aware! It is not worth to invest in this expensive hairdryer. I go back what i used to to, moisturize and embrace this curls and for a change i will just use my chi flatiron after leaving my hair airdry!!!

I have waist length hair... This dryer has reduced my drying time from 15 minutes to 5-6 minutes. Folica had the best price in town. Great experience with my overall purchase from selection to speedy delivery. Happy drying!

i have to use a blow dryer to straighten out my bangs so that it still has volume so i figured i would try a profesional dryer & i chose this one. well don't buy it. it only has 2 heat settings and on high it gets really really hot. just from using once on straightening my bangs out it melted my round brush & smelled horrible from burning & i even put heat protecting spray in my hair. & when i just blow dryed the rest it gave me 3 times the friz than with my old conair & made my hair extremely gross feeling & gave a fried look. it was awful & i sent it back the next day. i would suggest not getting this because its so not worth this much money.

Ok girls this one is the best so don't waste your time nor money get this one. This summer my husband suprised me with a chi blow dyer it was the red chi blow dyer it didn't work well at all. I was very unhappy with it and was upset that he spend $138.00 on it. I went back to my walmart blow dyer because it worked better. After two months i decided to see if it would be possible to exchange it for another kind. They said i could so i went with the rocket chi when i got it in the mail i was very excited but nerves that it would be like the red one. But this one was so much better i'm so excited about it. It blow dyers so fast and is so hot that i need to use the low speed i'm really happy with this blow dyer. I have really curl hair and this straight it in no time....This is a good product buy yours today.

I've owned the dryer and loved the way it worked. I had it less than a year and all of a sudden the motor blew out. Chi has no warraties and does not guarantee the motor. It was certainly not from excessive use either, as I don't use the dryer daily. I would recommend checking out long term studies prior to buying.

I hated blow drying my hair because it would take so long and by the time I was done, I would be hot, sweaty, and ready to re-apply my makeup. I have below shoulder length hair with a thick natural wave. When using my old dryer, it left my hair dry and "fluffy", but with this new dryer my hair is much more manageable. It dries quickly (not warp speed, but fast) and it feels soft and is smooth when im done. I can now just blow dry and leave the house without having to use a straigtning iron. Like others, I'm not crazy about the buttons - I tend to hit them by accident - but its not annoying enough to avoid buying this product.

I never thought I would pay the price this blow dryer cost but I read so many excellent reviews I decided to buy it. I am very glad I did! It is an awesome product dries hair quickly styles perfectly and no more frizz. It is also less noisy then a regular run of the mill dryer. 2 Thumbs up!!

I am so glad these reviews are on here. They helped me make the decision for this blow dryer. I bought this product a 1.5 years ago and I loved it. Unfortunately, one of the little grey mystery rubber pieces attached to each side of it popped inside of the blow dryer and got caught in the motor. I returned it under warranty, and they gave me a new one. The second one almost did the same thing with the rubber piece but I jimmied it to stay in there some how. But, shortly thereafter the motor burned out - I have only had that one for about a year...I have to check the receipt to see if I can return that too. Who knows? But, I love what this mysterious ion technology does for my hair...I am just disappointed in the motor burning out this fast for the price. Perhaps I will try another brand.
