This is an AMAZING hair dryer. Not only is it light but it dries the hair quickly. It works for all types of hair: straight, wavy, very cury and textures, fine, coarse and medium hair. The best thing is that it helps provide the a great blow dry so you wont need as much work with a flat iron. This is the only hair dryer I will buy. I think it's fab-u-lous!
Nano or Rocket?
Anyone used both the Nano and the Rocket? What's the difference and which is better? Both seem to have similar features, and both have the main qualities I'm looking for in an investment dryer. Please help! Question posted by CLG Thu Sep 06 2007
I had a hard time with the Chi Rocket
Hello I just brought the Chi Rocket and I used it to dry my damp hair. I'm a little confused on why my hair is now looking burnt after one use of using the Chi Rocket blow dryer. I even brought the Chi products for my hair. My hair is very dry and is medium textured and my hair is also dyed. When my hair was damped I spritzed Chi Volumizer in my hair then I proceeded to blow dry my hair on hot. Then I applied the Chi Iron Guard and spritzed all over my hair then I flat Ironed my hair once I was done my hair is looking very burnt. I then used 2 dime sizes of the serum of Chi and my hair is still looking very dry and burnt. What went wrong? Why did this happen to my hair I used the diffuser when I blew out my hair and I didn't let the blower touch my hair when I blew out my hair I had the blower a few inches away from my hair for it wouldn't get burnt. :( I paid a lot of money for the Chi Blow Dryer and the Chi Hair Products. I also used the Chi hairspray and nothing fixed my hair it's know burnt and dry. :*( Question posted by Judy Thu Feb 22 2007

You should always put product in your hair AFTER you flat iron it. If you apply product before (especially anything containing alcohol) your hair will dry out and burn. The flat iron gets up to extremely high temperatures and will react negatively with any styling product in your hair. This is mostly common sense caution.

How hot does it get?
Hi, I'm worried that it may get so hot it might burn if touched. I noticed that on some of the other dryers, users made a comment about the dryers getting so hot they saw sparks. Also, how long have people had this dryer? Has anyone's died soon. Is there any warranty on it?Are there other dryers anyone recommends?Thank you so much!! Question posted by Patty Sun Aug 27 2006

this dryer gets way too hot. it was so hot i returned it after my first use. it had burned my thumb & it hurt for 20 minutes. & it melted my round brush from only using the hairdryer once. & when you put it on low its not strong enough so either way the thing is worthless.
