I've had my pink Chi for a year now, and it's one of the best purchases I made with my maxed out credit card! Yeah, it does snag sometimes, but that's because I have split ends in some places. No one ever said that a flat iron would IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF YOUR HAIR. They only said it will make it straight and shiny.. so some people need to get that clear. But I really do love my Chi. It comes EVERYWHERE with me. It heats up quickly. I see a lot of people have had problems with their cords but I haven't yet. ** There are covers you can by for straighteners people.. I think they really do help. They are heat retardant. I believe they are by Vera Bradley. My room mate is always stealing my pink Chi and she has an original Chi but loves mine! I would recommend it to anyone.

Okay so I bought my CHI straightner like July 2007 and its only April 2008 and I was straightning my hair like an hour ago cause I'm getting ready for a friend's party. But then a few minutes later I smell something burning, next thing I know the on and off switch button was somewhat melting :S and I havent even had the straightner on for like 10 minutes. So of course for my own safety, I unplugged it and let it cool down for a few minutes. Then later on, I tried turning it on again and it wouldn't work anymore =( there goes my $207.00 *sigh. But truth be told, it was an awesome straightner. I'm just mad at the fact that it stopped working out of nowhere and I took very good care of it. Guess I'm back to wavy hair =(

I love the pink, it works great, I needed a relaxer badly, my hair is very kinky, but the chi helped cover all that. It's great so far, way beyond my expectation.

I absolutely love this straightner! It works better than anything I ever owned!!! If you are looking for a quality (the best) straightner - look no further. This is the one for you. I highlight my hair but the CHI doesn't damage it. I recommend using the CHI Keratin spray and CHI Silk Infusion with your CHI. They are designed to work with the CHI and IT DOES WORK!!! I am a first time owner of a CHI and using the CHI products, but I'm sold for as long as they are making these products!! I included some photos but it was windy so take that into consideration please.

I just got this straigtner for my birthday. I love it. It's pink which is a plus. It straightners my hair so fast. And stays straight. It doens't hurt at all. My old sraightner pulled and tugged my hair. Chi glides right through. I love this straightner.

IT WORKS GREAT BUT YOU BETTER READ THE WARRENTY... THE CHI WONT LAST FOR A YEAR AND WHEN IT DOES STOP WORKING YOU WILL READ YOUR WARRENTY AND IT WILL TELL YOU THAT IT DOESNT COVER WHAT IS GOING TO BE WRONG WITH IT... MINE WAS THE CORD KINDA LIKE FELL OUT AFTER ABOUT 7 MONTHS AND I READ MY WARRENTY AND IT DOESNT COVER THAT!!!!!!!

Well I got my CHI like a year and a few months ago... and now it is STILL working great! It is worth every dollar. To keep your flat iron in good condition just make sure you don't EVER wrap the cord around it. My friend got one a few months after I got mine and hers is already shutting off on its own due to the fact that she wraps her cord around her iron.

I just wanted to let you know that I love my "Pink" Solia flat iron. I had purchased a more expensive one, a "Chi", and I didn't like it as well as the Solia. The Solia Ceramic, with tourmaline, leaves my hair shiny and wonderfully straight. I have short, curly hair, frizzy at the hairline, and it does an absolutely wonderful job. You may use my comments, as you wish. Thanks for offering this wonderful product, at an incredible price. The mat/pouch was an added plus.

The CHI is honestly the most popular and best flat iron out there...they have it in all colors...I have really curly hair and no straightener ever works but when i used my friends i had to get my own!!!

I got this flat iron from my sister in law and she had already used it for a couple of months and passed on to me it has been almost 2 years since this and Im still in love with it. I have think very curly hair and it straightens it sooo quick. unfortunaltly its not working so well latley, but I have only my self to blame i did not take the propper care of it....Iam buying another one and it will definatly be one just like this one again.

I purchased this hair straightener in August 2009....and was sooo excited because I had a drugstore one, and it wouldn't straighten my hair ONE bit. My hair is damaged already (from swimming), and I reccomend because of the heat, you use some kind of protection with it. This straightens my hair soooo well! It leaves it soft, and shiny, lots of people LOVE my hair. It might be alittle exensive to others...but trust me, it is totally worth it! (:

I have very long, very thick, very CURLY hair. This straightner has been my best friend for 2 years. I woudlnt' trade it for anything. It has good heat, it straightns and smooths my hair like no other straightner ever could!!! I would recommend it to anyone...awesome awesome AWESOME!

I love my CHI, I have never had a straightener like it before. I have super curly hair, and the CHI makes my hair bone straight(like I like it!!!) I would so recmmend the CHI to any and everybody!!!

i love my chi. i wouldnt know what id do without it. i live in houston and its pretty humid and all other straightners ive used, didnt withstand the heat and my hair would end up curly within minutes but not with the chi.. the chi straightens and keeps it straightned. its amazing, it gets rid of all my curls and all my frizz i dont know how it does it but im impressed, i wouldnt choose any other product

I got my chi iron for my 16th or 17th birthday and I'm about to turn 21 and it still works (CHI pink iron limited edition). I'm a college student, and wouldn't like to say that I'm careless, but it has been dropped several times. Dropping it too hard can sometime break the plates off of it (this happened to a friends) but it has never happened to mine. I wrap the cord around it all the time when on the go. It has traveled the United States, over to Europe, the Caribbean, and Canada with me and STILL works. I too have thick curly hair and it straightens it and keeps it straight, even overnight. yeah these reviews are really old and i'm pretty sure no one will reply. but i don't have a chi but i want one, so bad. my birthday is coming up in 2 months. June 24 to be exact, and this guy was talking to my mom about the 'wi chi' or something like that, and i googled it and there's no such thing, just takes me to chi. I really don't know about that, maybe its the newest thing and google hasn't caught up yet? idk, googles pretty indie. But i have really frizzy and thick hair. About medium size. I have my cousins passed down straitener, which works good after like 5 years no joke, but it does lagg and i long for a new one so i want the chi. And so many of you are like chi's not worth it use this use that, then alot of you are like i love my chi. Well i want a person who has not wrapped their cord around it, left it on longer then suppose to, and who has taken good care of it tell people with even doing this it still breaks. I used my cousins she's had hers for about 3 years and it works really good. and people i heard it has a lifetime warrenty. :] so yeahhh. please helpp..i also looked at the solia and people said its not that great.

I have had my pink CHI for a little over 3 years, and there has been NOTHING wrong with it! :) I use it almost every day and it leaves my hair perfectly straight for the WHOLE day! I can also flip or curl my hair with it too, and it doesn't tangle or catch my hair in the straightener at all. Some people complain about their CHI's breaking or something isn't right with it, when all you have to do is take care of it. Don't drop your CHI (have never dropped mine), and don't wrap the cord around the straightener!! (it's bad for the cord, it makes it's life shorter)
But trust me, when you are thinking about buying a straightener, go with this CHI! It's in such a cute pink and it has never let me down!!!! :)

i got my pink leopard print ultra chi at ulta in june. It takes me about 20 minutes to straighten my naturally banana curls all over hair. I havent had any problems yet and it ws definetly worth the money.

After I broke my second Sedu due to stepping on them (ya, um... I'm a total klutz) I thought I would try a CHI since Sedu's aren't in Canada yet and CHI's are everywhere...I was really excited to use it, and am a flat iron expert since I've been straightening my hair for years now. The CHI was super cute and came with a free Tote bag, which was cool, but the I was soooo dissapointed!!!!It smelled funny as it heated up, pulled and broke my hair, damaged my hair, made my hair dull and dead looking (and I ALWAYS use a protective spray) and took way longer to do what used to take me 10-15 mins with my Sedu.I ended up taking the CHI back, because for the nearly $150 CND I spent on it I felt I was ripped off.If you're reading these reviews and trying to decide between the CHI and Sedu, believe me and the over 3000 other reviewers, go with the Sedu!!! You will not be dissapointed!!!!!
