Not so good..

I've had this straightener for about a year now, a little less. The Chi pulls your hair, and it doesn't come out as good as I want it to... but its the best straightener I've owned.. I'm looking to but the Solia, or the Sedu, because the Chi hurts, and takes REALLY long to straighten but it does straighten your hair okay-ish. Not the best, but its much better than having my hair super super super curly, oh yeah! It takes me about an hour to straighten my hair, I have really thick, curly hair, and i have a lot of hair, not long.. but just a lot of hair, so yeah.. if you have a lot of hair its not recommended for you.. :(

After Christmas, I wanted a Chi straightener so badly .. so with my birthday and Christmas money I bought this straightener and it just arrived at my house today and I have to say, I LOVE IT! It's the best straightener I've ever used. I used to own a Vidal Sassoon one, but after it got all rusty, I ordered this one. It makes my hair so shiny, soft and perfectly straight and I also love that you can curl your hair with it as well! It's awesome! I definately recomend it to anyone who is interested in buying it.

I just got a Chi for Christmas. I've never had a nice straightener (always used like ones from Sally's or Walgreens) but I've used my roommates' Solias, Cortexs, Amikas, and Babyliss. I have to say the Chi is great... it wouldn't be so popular if it wasn't a good iron... and you can find it for decent prices but the Solia and Babyliss were way better. I love how the Chi doesn't give me any dents and it heats up fast! My hair feels soft and has shine. I will say the Solia made my hair shinier though and the Babyliss worked faster however.

I've had my pink chi since I was 16 and I am now 19. It worked awesome! It left my hair shiny and perfectly straight. Then one day when I was straightening my hair I smelled something burning. The plates fell of and burned the carpet and I tried to turn it off and the on and off button was melted! It did work great til this happened!!

I bought a pink chi for my daughter, and After a month it started losing the pink color, its just paint so yeah it was whatever. Then, it started tugging my daughter hair and pulling it out, She got her hair fixed and the Chi took the color right out. The last time she went to switch it on the switch fell off, And my husband opened it and it was melted on the inside. Don't buy this.
