My hair is really thick, wavy and curly. I have tried different straigtening methods like blow-drying, chemically straigtening and so on and the end results were the same "hated it" because my hair would end up all damanged!
Recently my sister purchased the Chi and she was fasinated by how it left her hair. As many other Chi users I tried it and WOW what a difference! It takes me about an hour to do all my hair that includes washing, drying and straightening.
Below is an "after blow-dry" so you can see how my hair really is when it is chemical free no mousse, no gels, no hair spray... and another of after I use the CHI ... I LOVE MY CHI ...

I borrowed my frind's about two years ago && I got GREAT results everyone at my skol was saying how much prettier my hair looked [[before that i had used conair]] I wanted it very badly but ymy mom [[trying to save money]] just bought me one that was a liitle better than conair. Now about a week ago i went to a beach house with a friend who owned one && so i used it everyday && wen i came bak home my mom saw how much happier && prettier i was so now im gonna pay 4 half && she will 2 and were gonna share it ive herd great things !!!! I LOVE IT!! :]

Just yesterday, I have recieved my Farouk CHI flatiron.
I did not buy it from this site, but I feel like maybe I should have, and gotten the pink CHI instead. This site has so many more choices.
Anyhow, the one I have works like a charm.
I'm really enjoying it.
I'm very tempted to go buy the pink one now, off of this site. Haha. :]
I'm pretty sure the Chi does work much better then my flatiron from Wal-mart.
I love my CHI!

I have thick, tightly curled hair and the CHI gets it smooth and straight. I tried the CHI Silk infusion the last time I straightened (applied to damp hair before blowdrying) and this really protected my hair. My hair felt silkier without being heavy. 5 stars!

My hair is naturally curly and it used to be a three step process including roller setting and sitting under the dryer for an hour before I flat iron it straight. Now I just blow dry and straighten

I purchased this iron for a biracial child and it works wonderfully on her hair! Not only is it efficient, it is light weight, pretty in pink, and easy to use.
The oil doesn't work as well as a cheaper product, but the iron is WONDERFUL!
Have to get it!!!!!!!

Ive had many hair straighteners before, from conair to revlon to vidal sassoon (all the drug store brands). And at the time, I thought the revlon one was perfect. It prevented frizz pretty well, at least better than my conair one, and my air felt smooth and silky. My friend however, purchased a Chi Hair Straightener about 6 months ago, and her hair has looked great. So I asked her what she's using. She told me about Chi and I told myself I had to get it. My hair is naturally straight/wavy but it frizzes. Ever since I started using my Chi straightener (which I bought about a month ago) my hair has felt smooth and I haven't had one frizz. My hair used to be damaged before from heat from hair straighteners and blow dryers, but ever since I bought this hair straightener (and a Chi Rocket Blow Dryer) my hair look sooo much healthier. I definitely recommend this product. And if your looking for a new blow dryer, make sure you look into the Chi Rocket Blow Dryer. It's pricy but definitely a good investment.

This is an amazing deal. The flat iron alone is worth it. The products are a GREAT BONUS!! Completely satisfied!! And the fact that it's pink how can you lose??

This Chi flat iron straightens my curly hair in minutes! It is far better than any other iron I have used. I would definitely buy it again.

i had this flat iron for about a year. at first, it was fantastic! after i had it for about 4 months i noticed it was taking longer than usual and i was having to go over the same place multiple times. then after about 7 months, it would start shutting off and i would have to flip the switch multiple times for it to come back on. after a year, it completely stopped working all together. there was nothing i could do. my hair stylist told me that chis tend to do that. i wont be buying a new one.

My dad bought me the pink CHI and i just got it in the mail a few days ago.
it's absolutly amazing, I have African American hair and you know how horrid that type of hair is, but the CHI does wonders on it, it makes it really straight and shiny I do recommend it. So go out and buy it for sure!

I have a natural curl to my hair so I've never been able to really straighten it. This was recomended to me by my hair stylist. Its like a magic stick. My hair can finally be straightned and looks great! I was so pleased I decided to invest in other products by Chi.

Before this I had the soft pink Corioliss hair straightener. It's even more expensive than the Chi straightener and I bought it for full price in the mall. But here at Folica, for a discounted price, (& fast shipping!) I got a whole set for much cheaper. The iron works better and of course I use the products that come with it. The little silver bottle, called Silk Infusion, not only makes my hair silky soft but also cuts drying time in half! I dont suppose it was meant to that but it does it well! THE PERFECT SET for the feminine girl who loves pink!

The pink Chi is not only pretty because of the color but a great choice. It leaves your hair soft and silky an very straight. It only gives you split ends if you leave it on to long. The on/off switch will only come off if you are not careful with it. Simply AMAZING! It is for sure worth the money!

I have had my chi iron for 5 years now and my hair has never been better. I have just ordered the pink chi and can not wait for it to come in. My iron now stays just as hot and works just as well as it did they day I bought it.

I'm being honest. I got this Pink Chi from a salon. And it made my hair very silky and soft. But....it made my ends very split and unhealthy looking. It also pulled my hair and broke it off on the ends. I got a Sedu flat iron and like it much better than a Chi. Chi makes great products though, I love their shampoo, conditoner, and gels. But i would recomend a Sedu more than a CHI.
You can get your Chi repaired after a year

Ihave been using my CHI for 4 years and I love it. I even bought a second one to make sure I always have a back up. I keep reading about how everyone says that it cost to much and breaks after a year. Yes it has a one year warranty to be repaired for free, but if you go to the Farouk website you can download the repair form and have any problem fixed after your 1 year warranty for a flat $35.00 fee. Just keep your receipt when you buy it. I had my first one repaired and still use it to this day! I love it!

Of course it will burn your hair if your hair cant withstand that this straightener is meant for!! Or if you hold it on there forever. Listen guys, if there's any doubt GET IT! I am ordering mine this weekend. i've gone through about 15 kinds of straighteners that dont do the job. my hair dresser used a chi on me and i almost cried because my hair looks just as smooth and silky at the tip as it did at the roots...and you know that never happens with regular straighteners!!:) i will def post before and after pics!
