most of the time when i crimp my hair i just take the sraightener to about the root and i pull down about half an inch and then holf the straightener there for about 3-5 seconds (depends on the thickness of your hair) and then continue down your hair until you reach the bottom. | Limited Edition Temp. If you know what your doing yes. Just don't hold it in place for too long of time or your hair will bend instead of flip or curl. | how do lots of girls straighten their hair and have it absolutely straight not frizzy but flat

It all starts with your shampoo and conditioner. You have to find products that are right for hair. What works for me may not work for you. A CHI iron is a great tool to get your hair super straight, but you gotta use a protectant when you use it. If you have fine hair, you may not want to mess with a CHI because it gets really hot. It could burn your hair especially if you don't protect it. Most ceramic flat irons work well for super straight hair. But if you have hair that is resilient to heat...the CHI is awesome!!!! | | Reply by juli

they either get it done at a salon, are genetically blessed, or use some of these tricks:
-use leave-in conditioner prior
-use serums or sprays to protect from heat damage
-use it when hair is dry
-don't hold it on too long or overstraighten
-have a friend help with the back
those all seem to work for me. if it's because of your hair try and treat that seperately (get it thinned, use ant-frizz shampoo)
hope this helps! | which straightner is better

It's not at all that different actually their mostly the same except I mean most girls would prefer pink right? And this great offer comes with 3 other things! | Limited Edition CHI
I have a Turbo CHI and I like it but it doesn't curl very well because of the felt on the back of the panels. I was going to purchase an original CHI but then I saw the pink CHI and well I am girly girly so this was perfect. However, I was telling my friend about it and she had heard that the pink CHI isn't as good as the original one. A girl at her salon has one and says that it pulls hair. Anyone else have any problems with the pink CHI compared to the original CHI. Question posted by Lizzie Thu Feb 15 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Lauren
