These people don't know what there talking about!! CHI is the best flat iron on the market I will never use no other, it's not the same. You have to be a professional like me to distinguished the difference between a good and bad flat iron, and this is definitely a good one! I wouldn't be as successful as I am today without this tool!
Hair iron is very cute and sleek...works good.

The iron does not get super hot like my old iron which is probably a good thing because it won't fry your hair. I have very very very thick hair and it has a wave through it. The iron has cut my ironing time from over one hour to under 20 mins. It's amazing and the chi name is there to back it up. Great purchase.

Hey!
my name is Nora and i loved my chi, I've had it not even a full year and my on/off switch broke, for no reason, up till then my CHI was the best thing that ever happened to my hair! i would recommend it to everyone but just be prepared to buy a new one! and i almost forgot i have very THICK hair, Hawaiian hair..lol..and my CHI worked wonders til it broke.

alright to start im bi-racial, (so you know what type of hair i have)
both my sister and i decided to get each other straighteners for Christmas because we are tired of sharing. we have had a chi in the past and it worked very well on our hair. looking over the folica.com sight i quickly realized that a chi is not number one of the list so instead i decided to get a SOLIA. on christmas day both of us straightened or hair.
difference is!!!!
my sister spent about 20 minutes after blow drying.
i spent over an hour on less then half of my hair.
my hair is not course but it is very thick and i have tight curls. this chi is the best straighter i have ever used.
i quickly returned mine and exchanged it for a chi.
if you have nice hair then why not go with a solia; BUT if you have problems with your hair taking TOO long to straighter (and we all know how that is! ) and it dosnt even stay straight!!! then 100% get this.
forget the rest of the reviews.
i wasnt even planning on writing one but ever since this straighter i knew i had to let you all know. it has 5 stars because it IS the best. no need to second guess. REAL TALK. order it i guarantee you wont want to return it. :)

So I have tight ringlets that are very thick and frizzy. With my other two flat irons, it took me four hours to do my hair and it wouldn't even stay straight for an hour! With CHI, it only takes an hour and lasts for days! I love it, plus it is pretty in pink and has a bag I can carry it around in! This flat iron is the best! It leaves my hair straight, silky, and shiny! Thank you CHI!

Well, I received the CHI pink dazzle for christmas just the other day. I reeeallly have been wanting it and I finally got it. IT's SOOO GOOD! the results are really good. thanksss CHI! : D

While this product is great when it works. It never really did for me. I had owned the original CHI for 5 years. I loved it! I had heard from several other people that their CHI's had shorted out on them. Never had a single problem with mine for the entire 5 years. I had to replace it because I dropped it & the plates came off. About 2 months ago I purchased the pink dazzle CHI as a replacement. I used it 1 time before it began to short out! It worked great the few days it actually worked. If I wiggled the cord sometimes I could get it to work but most times it wouldn't. Unfortunately CHI won't fix it because I purchased it online. I just purchased a SEDU to replace my pink dazzle CHI. I just don't think it's worth the money if there are so many problems with it shorting out.

Somewhat disappointed. One of the little screws keeps falling out. One of the pieces wasn't even together when the iron arrived. I've had to glue the piece in to keep it from falling off and the screw falling out again and again.
Also, was a little disappointed that there was only one heat setting. My hair is fine and a bit fragile, so I have had to limit my use of the iron due to hair breakage and losing hair in certain places which could not take the heat. I wanted to use it daily for quick and easy styling, but now I only use it for special occasions.
I was hoping that the special ionic moisture enhancing feature would not fry my hair, but it still does.
I love my PINK CHI!!!!

I've only had mine for about a month and im soo excited about it. I LOVE IT!!! I've have lots of straighteners before but none like this one. It was deff worth!!!

Whenever I go over to my friend's house, I find some excuse to take a shower so I can re-straighten my hair with her mom's straightener.
It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
It always leaves my hair looking sleek and pretty, while my own straightener leaves it dull and crinkly.
I would suggest this straightener to anyone and everyone who wants beautiful, straight hair.
I'm very excited to get one of my own.

i had a crappy drugstore straightner for about two years which made my hair, which has wild curls, look pooffy and fried. i talked my mom into buying the CHI because its a popular brand and ive heard good things, and i have NEVER seen my hair look so healthy, staight and shiny. i can use it every day and get the same result every time. best buy, i reccomend it completely.

I want to know if this chi is suppose to have a heat dial on it. I would think that cost over $100.00 would have some sort of heat regulation dial.

i received this iron as a birthday gift about 2 years ago. it worked great. i was so happy to finally have a CHI. after about a year however, i noticed that my ends started getting brittle and my hair was starting to get dull and frizzy again. needless to say it was burning my hair. the lack of temperature control is really a problem. last week, the iron started shorting out and now it only works when the cord is in certain places. i know many other people who have had this problem with CHIs. the fact is that they are cheaply made. i know i will not be buying another...

I have very curly hair--loose ringlets. Up until a few years ago, I had tried many flat irons from beauty supply stores. They did straighten my hair, but not to my satisfaction. I was beginning to loose hope. Then I bought the 2" Chi. Worked wonderfully! Lately with all of the new styles calling for loose curls, or waves, I faced another problem. Once my hair is straightened with the Chi, I cannot get it to curl with a curling iron. I think my hair needs more heat to hold the curl. My 1" Pink Dazzle Chi came in the mail today. It's fabulous! Heats up in seconds. And I am typing this review right now with a head full of shiny, soft, waves/curls. I love it! Definitely worth the investment!!!!

When I first bought this I was so happy!!!!! It really worked when i first tried it....but in 5 months it did'nt works as much...o yah i forgot when i was first using it..it snagged my hair....LIKE IT PULLED IT....but then i got used to it....this CHI does great curls...but my CHI does'nt have enough heat....i don't know why????? i don't use it all the time because it's to hard to starighten because i have very curly hair and also i have tons of hair!!!! I'm very dissapointed!!!!! So i went on this site and I'm going to get a SEDU!!!!!!!!!! It really looks good....and yah i guess i recomend this flat iron (CHI) to people.......
not for girls with ringlet, curly,medium thick, frizzy, dry, curly long hair

i have medium thick hair that has ringlet curls, i would not recomend this, it takes me an hour to iron my hair and i dont like it, i want to get the pink ghd, with my own money. the iron makes my hair look fried even thoughi only ironed it once or twice a week, or even only 3 times a month. if you have straight hair this is fine but for really frizzy dry and curly hair, dont buy it, just buy the best, dont waste your money buying 5 cheap ones

I received it used it right away. This definetly does not straighten very well. it takes longer than my old straightner (solia pink). it takes about 30 minutes and my hair is short and even after im done doing my hair its still really frizzy and i use the non frizz stuff. It doesnt even straighten my ends. It also feels like its cheaply made. I wouldnt buy this again. Im going with sedu after this one breaks which it probably will since they are manufactured poorly.

This straightner works very well. It heats up very, very, fast. In like a minute. The only thing about mine is it sometimes rips my hair out. But other than that it gets my hair silky smooth, and straight!!!
