I love this hair dryer! I would leave the salon loving the way my hair looked and felt but was soon disappointed when I tried to achieve the same look and feel at home. I tried using the same products but still could not get it. Finally I asked my stylist what kind of hair dryer she used. It was the CHI Pro and so I got one. Now with using the CHI I can obtain the same look and feel I had when I left the spa. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy but I use this dryer along with a Mariyn round brush and my hair is soft, shiny and frizz free. I definitely recommend this dryer.

I've had this dryer for a little over a year and it is doing the same as the other negative reviews. Blowing between warm and hot air.
I also had the limited edition red "hearts" dryer and it started blowing cold air in less than six months. Very disappointing.
CHI will fix or replace these dryers for $35 if you aren't under warranty anymore, which is better than buying a new one, but that's no excuse for the quality of this "professional" appliance.
I won't buy another CHI dryer. As a hairstylist, it is just too much hassle. I can't be without my dryer.
What a disappointment!

I splurged on this hairdryer less than a year ago and now it won't heat at all! Very disappointing for such an expensive hairdryer. I treated it with care hoping it would last for at least several years. I will try to return for warranty repair or replacement but am not hopeful of positive results. It did a great job while it lasted but lots of $$$$$$ for a few months.
Great dryer!

My hairdresser recommended I buy this hair dryer. I was tempted to buy the more expensive one, but this one works great.
It doesn't dry out my hair and it keeps it from looking frizzy.
What a god send!

I have a ton of thick, frizzy hair. I also flat iron my hair, but this dryer takes care of half of the work for me. With standard dryers it would take me about 1 hour to dry all of my hair - but the Chi takes care of it in 20 minutes and with much better results. Less frizz and sleek, smooth hair. I love it!

I've tried different hair dryers trying to find the right one for fine hair. This one works terrific with 1300 watts so, it doesn't blow dry your hair with too much power!I can tell a major difference with the Chi dryer, Sedu Ionic Ceramic Pro Flat Iron, and the Sedu Heat Protecting styling protection spray! Your tools make a difference in healthy hair. It's definetly worth the money!
Great improvement over last dryer!

I was looking to upgrade my Revlon dryer and my stylist uses as CHI. I love how soft and smooth my hair is when she uses it. I shopped around carefully and tried to compare the various models. Well, I compared the Pro with the Nano in person and I could see no difference at all. I got the Pro because it was less expensive. I am very happy with it so far. It does not cut the drying time in half as advertised, but it may cut it by a few minutes. The main difference I see is that my hair feels softer and smoother afterwards with fewer flyaways. My old dryer seemed to get my hair hot without really drying it. The CHI seems to dry it more thoroughly. I was concerned that 1300 watts might seem wimpy compared with the 1875 my Revlon had, but I can't tell the difference. If anything the CHI might seem more powerful.
Note that the info that came in the box said that the warranty is void if purchased over the internet.

I splurged on this dryer about a year ago. It was great at first, then I started to notice that it would not stay hot for very long. It would alternate between being hot for about 2 minutes and then cold for about 20 seconds. Now it has gotten so bad that its hot for about 20 seconds and then goes cold for 2 minutes! It takes forever to dry my hair, and of course its out of warranty now. So sad!
Not another TORNADO!!

I have natural very curly hair...this blow dryer isn't like the cheap (sometimes not so cheap) drug store varity hair dryers that just blow out alot of air at a high speed(Similar to the public bathroom hand dryers). That's important if you have curly hair and frizz is a factor. This dryer is 1300 watts...not overly powerful..but it heats up nicely. NO FRIZZ!!! Just great curls with the included defuser. It's a keeper.
Worth every penny!

I'm afraid to say before I bought this hair dryer all I ever used was blow dryers from Walmart...I thought a hair dryer is a hair dryer. This hair dryer is light weight, instead of blowing my curls with a tornado force wind...it heats and blows the hair dry gently..and in a very short amount of time I might add. I was initially concerned that it was "only" 1300 watts...the Chi Pro dried it faster and better. If you have naturally curly hair this hair dryer is a must. I could have spent less and certainly more money...but I'm glad I didn't.

Always on the go, this dryer is as dependable as they get. Quick drying and smooth hair. With the humidity here the frizz can get "OUT OF CONTROL". Also having the CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Iron helps. Both are great products.

This hair dryer was reccomended by my hair dresser. I have naturally curly hair and it works great both at reducing frizziness and maintaining the curls.

The Chi is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. I couldn't decide between the Chi and the T3 Tourmaline so I bought the T3. The T3 made my hair frizzy and my hair looked terrible. I took it back and bought the Chi. The Chi made my fine, naturally curly hair shine and made the curls so defined. The best part is that there was absolutey NO FRIZZ in my hair. My hair had so much volume. I wish I would have known about this hair dryer a long time ago.
