I am on my second blow drier after the other stopped blowing hot air suddenly. I should have requested to get my money back for I anticipate it is going to happen again. The other reviews confirm my prediction.

This CHI dryer is a decent product, overall I was pretty happy with it, however, 1 year or so after purchasing it, I went to turn it on one morning, it started SMOKING, stunk so bad and sounded like it was going in labour! My husband took a look at trying to fix it but it was pooched. For the amount I paid, I was very disappointed! If you plan on purchasing one, expect it to die on you within a year!!! I am going with a different brand.

I received this as a birthday present last year and loved it. I used it maybe 5 times a week. A few days ago it quit blowing hot air and the warranty was up by TWO DAYS and the CHI people said there was nothing they could do. This seems to be a typical pattern for them. Cheaply made. Don't waste your money. I was very disappointed.
