It Snags

I've used flat irons for years. This iron straightens but my hair does catch on it every single use. Very annoying. The problem is that the plates are seated flush instead of raised. I would not get this one again but would look for one that had raised plates so my hair doesn't catch. It sucks to try to get your hair unsnagged from a hot device.
A Little Disapointed

I purchased the Chi Turbo 2 inch and after only 5 uses it stopped working. I was very unhappy after paying $195.00 in a local salon. I tried and tried but never got a refund the store made it so hard and I just gave up. I got the nerve to finally bite the bullet and get a new Chi 4 months later, but I chose the Blue Chi Nano. It's good, very good but not worth all the hype in my opinion. It didn't do everything I heard it did but I will still use it because it was $137.00 but it's nothing that special. So far I have had my NEW Chi Nano 1.25 inch 2 weeks and it's still workin..... thank God. The Chi Nano Blow Dryer is AWESOME though! I wont live without it ever!
Great product

I love the new straightener. My hair is incredibly thick and curly and this iron gets it very straight. The only problem is that my hair does sometimes catch on the sides of the iron. It also allows me to curl the ends up if I want - which softens the whole look :) But that's happened on every iron I've owned. I would recommend this product.

I had an H2Pro straightener that did a good job but damaged my ends badly. I now use this with Chi's silk infusion serum and it is much healthier and silkier. It also steams much better so my straightening time is a lot shorter. Good straightener for the price.

I received my shipment as expected and in good condition. The CHI Nano is convenient for traveling and I love the Digital reading on the flat iron. My last CHI was a 2" and I'm much happier with the CHI Nano because it straightens my hair in less the time even though it's a few inches smaller. I curl my hair using the nano and it looks great. I get compliments everywhere I go. The only downside to the nano is the wheel that controls the temp on the side. Sometimes I'll accidently turn the wheel while I'm straightening my hair and it turns the temp down, but overall a very good product.
Love It!!!

OKay.. Lets see.. Where should i start with this product. IT IS GREAT!!! I love love it.. So SO much.. I have never had a flat iron that has done this good of job on my hair. I live in Louisiana, so it is really humid. And my hair stays really straight. Now. All my friends have one. They also love it. And what is really great about it is the digital screen on it. It is just such a great product. And yeah.. it does snag, but what straightner doesn't!!??
Still a Snagger

I have purchased several chis. I have to admit that I have returned every one of them, even the pink one (which is my favorite color). It took me nearly a year after this nano system was out to go ahead and purchase it. I am on my second one, only for the exact same reason ... it snagged my hair. Even when I returned it, they could see my hair stuck under the plates. I have long hair and want a tool that will fix my hair without me having to baby tiny little sections at a time. When this iron is not snagging my hair, it is very nice. A little bigger plates so you don't have to worry about any creases and you can still get a nice bend with it. I think out of every one that I have had, this one heats up the best and also is tight on my hair, achieving the positive results. But my 1 3/4" Hot Tools Iron gives me a nice polished straight look with a slight bend also in about 5 minutes and I have very thick hair. If you don't mind the snagging of your hair, great tool. My one daughgter that has thinner, shorter hair than me, loves it. If you have thinner hair and shorter, it would probably be great for you. Since I have to be very careful with my long hair, I really don't want to be using something on it that will actually damage it were I will eventually have to cut it. That's not the point.
