I already had a Sedu, and those are very good, but my cousin got a CHI and has raved about it. I decided to try one. When it arrived, I thought "oh no - no temp control", but it's fine. It's like it's set to the perfect temp for everyone. If that's possible. My hair is very finely textured and my stylist just told me the ends look great. I noticed for the first time that he's been using a CHI on my hair all along. Not any CHI, this one. If you can't remember which one, just remember the baby blue color and you can't go wrong.

there's no temperature setting so it's extremely hot and definitely not for daily use...i've been using the original ceramic iron by adam sphere for a little over 2 years now, still works very well, similar price, i would suggest investing in that instead!

Well i dont actually own the chi nano stragihter but i wish. It has been used on my hair before at the place where my hair is cut. Most hair/beauty places dont reccomend straighnenting hair but at mine they only use chi nano because it is safe and doesnt burn/fry hair. i am really hoping to get one asap! if your thinking about buying one, read more reviews or talk to a stylist, you want to make sure that your getting a good product for the money your going to spend.

ok so i have super curly hair (i mean ringlets and frizz full on) and this is my seventh straightener. ive used bed heads and sedus and a couple crickets, but i always still had unsightly kinks... and at the end of the day my hair was curly and frizzy all over again. when my best friend davoney told me about the CHI blue nano, i was realy tentative about the price. but when i tried hers, it was a freaking miracle. i had no idea something so small and light could straighten my crazy curls! i bought it the next day. amazing. buy it ASAP.

It is okay. It's not the greatest thing I've used, because it doesn't have controlled heating, but it still eventually gets the job done. Well, for my thick hair.

I have read good and bad things about the original CHI and since they have come out with this one I thought that I would give it a try. This product is off the chain and I have long, thick, and coarse african-american hair. I used this iron and it had my hair super straight. I have never been able to wear my hair straight ever in this life time. My hair is very soft and silky and I am loving it. I have been through a lot of irons and I think this is the best by far. Also remember, I don't care if a person has the cheapest iron out there, if you take care of the product the product will take care of you.

my new chi nano arrived today and man o man! it works really good! i normally have frizzy hair, and most straiteners leave lil kinks in my hair(even expensive ones!) but this one was like magic! and the style has actually held in for a long time! of course this was my first day of having it, but still..my hair looks BETTER then it does when i get it styled by my hairdresser!
=] it looks extremely strait, shiny, and feels so so smooth! i cant wait to show off my hair tomaro at skewl!

this iron is so great i can not belieave my hair ! it is strait and smooth and very VEry silkie! you cannnot believe how G*O*O*D it looks. i was using a sedu iron that broke after only 2 moths (it is b*A*d!) and i bought this iron beacuse i didn't want to waste my money on a sedu agian to have it break on me aagain. i am realy excited that this nano chi iron works sogreat and i am happy with this purcahse. thank you C*H*I you are the B*E*S*T!

I love this straightner. I originally had the Chi Turbo but it broke and so I replaced it with this one. I must say it's worth the money. I have really thick wavy and frizzy hair and this straightner in a fast 15 minutes can make it perfectly straight and smooth. I love it! I reccomend it to anyone and everyone.

I asked for it on my birthday and at first it worked really good, and I treat all of my beaty products well, and it still lost its power after a while. And my other freinds says its easy to break and also that it burnt my hair after a while, and it deosnt stay straight after 2-3 hours. Its not very good, so I REALLY recomend not getting it bceause the price you pay is not what you get sadly. I guess its a good straightner if you sometimes use it.

I have to say that the first review is so silly. People with curly/kinky hair need to learn to love their hair. I straighten my hair for fun, but I don't have any issue with my "African Napz." The first review was clearly written by a self-hater/someone looking to profit by such nonsense.
Secondly, this is a great product. I wish that there was a little comb attached to the edge, though, b/c I'm starting to think my hair is getting caught a bit on the edge. I'm not sure how that would work. When compared to many other straighteners this one was the best. Yay!
Great for impatient little girls!

My daughter hates for me to mess with her hair. But if she sleeps with it wet then she has wild waves in the back of her head. This small, fast heating, colorful flat iron is just the thing to straighten and flip her stubborn hair during the busy morning rush for school.

It really makes my hair straight but damages at the same time it really burned my hair I think it is too powerful for fine hair! Be careful if you want to use it!

when i got this straightener, it was fantastic. it made my hair soft and smooth. It also stayed straight the whole day. After about 9 months of having this, the straightener started to smell, and it had slight burn marks on it. it also started to chip a little. Also, the on and off switch broke, and i couldnt use it anymore. i was not satisfied because it had a 1 year warranty.

I had an flat iron or two but i never had one like this , this chi flat iron is the bomb and know i wouldnt own nothing less, spending up my penny's now to get that awesome blow dryer

Not meant for everyday use. Perfect for my black hair with or without a perm. My hair stays silky until my next setting.

Well, I have had many CHIs in the past, and recently my original flatiron broke. I decided to spend the extra money on the new nano CHI, excited about it's new abilities. I had been using it for about two weeks when I noticed my normally shiny, silky, never before dyed hair was breaking off at the roots and I noticed little golden specks in my dark brown hair. At first I thought it was just pieces of hair product that had gunked on some strands, but upon closer inspection I realized they were little golden burnt pieces of hair that could hardly be touched before they fell out. Upon this discovery I instantly returned the Nano for another original CHI, and my hair is now slowly recovering.
