BLUE CHI NANO VS. AFRICAN AMERICAN NAPZ!

Customer Image 1:

People on here say the Chi does this and that, and I had to see for myself the “Truth” My new hairstylist has been using the Chi on my hair and I couldn’t believe something so small could FIX African Napz! Which is really coursed , beaty hair that often curls. It’s a pain to deal with causing most females with that kind of hair to spend 60-$100 on perms.
I purchased the CHI BLUE NANO I have used cheap wal-mart straightens usually before a perm and I have never washed my own hair my stylist does it.
For the first time I washed and straightened my own hair (Look at picture 1,2,3) and that’s what it did made it look so..BEAUTIFUL for $140.00 it’s worth it. I have went to the salon 1 time since March “once” compared to 4 times a month. “Once a week”
I use IC TEA SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND IC STRAIGHTNEING SERUM WITH MIZANI SPRADIANCE and CHI PLIABLE POLISH FOR LIFT. I swear to the lord above me it’s a Miracle what Chi has designed it’s the best and if African Americans can use it also it’s a LIFE SAVER! EVERYONE IN THE WORLD SHOULD HAVE ONE!!!! No more Perms or touch ups its all right here WONDERFUL-HEALTHY HAIR IN 30 MINS “1 HR IF WASHING & BLOWDRYING”
fabulous product

so i'm one of those people that always bought cheap straighteners which broke a year later, finally i decided to invest in a good quality straightener that would not fry my hair. The blue chi is very fast and a great product! Like someone else said, take care of it and it shall take care of you. It gets my thick wavy hair pencil straight in less than ten minutes and can flip my layers out or in. It's great.
word of advice though; DO NOT every buy a hair straighter from e-bay!!! You will always end up about $80 short in cash and a fake chi broken in a box.
enjoy!
a thin line between good and the best

Geisha from N.C.- The product is really good being that I have very thin hair and it generally gives it body and style but it do not have a ajustable temperture gange and I find that unsafe.
The best

The first time I used it I used my boyfriend's sister's CHI and it was awesome so I bought one for myself. Now it's just average. I mean it still gets the job done and it works better than the 20 or some irons Ive used but it's not that spectacular. It might just be my hair who knows...
it was ok....

This flat iron works very well. It heats up fast and is easy to hold and move through the hair. I had the T3 Wet-to Dry straightener before and was unimpressed. My hair would always get caught in the vents of the metal plates. My hair does not get caught in the CHI.
Daughter Loves It!

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I already had a CHI flat iron that my daughter used while I was visiting her. She had been using an inexpensive drugstore type flat iron and wasn't getting the results she wanted. I urged her to try mine and she was estatic at how smooth, shiny and VERY straight her hair was when using my CHI. I knew she had to have her very own. She LOVED it! In her own words, it was the best gift she got for Christmas! We both have thick, coarse, wavy hair and with one pass through each section we can both achieve a very pretty straight look for our usually difficult to work with hair.

I've been a fan of Chi flat irons since I purchased the red and black one a few years ago. I recently purchased the Nano and haven't been disappointed but I haven't been impressed either. I don't think it's any better than my other one, and I actually think I prefer my old red and black one better. I wish the Nano had the velvet across the top like the red and black one to protect your hands from the heat of the iron. I also don't like that it only has one heat setting. Overall, it's still a much better product than most in the market.

This is my second CHI. This one works better than the old one, Smoother & easier to use, doesn't burn. I really like it.
Doesn't get hot enough

This iron doesn't get hot enough to do any good on my super thick, coarse, wavy hair. I threw mine in the trash, because none of my friends liked it either.

The Chi Nano works great! My hair feels much smoother using a Chi than other expensive brands. The Chi Nano also does not pull hair out. I ordered the pink Chi from another website and it was HORRIBLE- it pulled my hair so bad I thought it was a fake (because everyone says how great Chi's are). Anyway, I saw this Chi and decided to give it a try- and it is WONDERFUL. I love it. I don't notice much of a difference in how flat my hair gets, but it isn't as harsh on my hair as other flat iron.

I had this iron since December of '06 and it worked pretty well. It didn't get as hot as I'd like it to though.
Yesterday it fell off my desk and the swivel cord broke.
The end.

I finally decided to buy a decent flat iron instead of using my cheapy one. The money was well spent! I find I don't have to go over areas more than a couple times and my hair is silky smooth!
Great performance

Put it this way, I went from 45 minutes straighting my hair to 20 minutes max! The flat iron works great, it's quick and it really provides shine to the hair. I'm a little concern about the smell of heat coming from my hair but it will happen with any tool (no matter how expensive)that work with heat. Overall I love it and I'm happy with the investment.
