BLUE CHI NANO VS. AFRICAN AMERICAN NAPZ!

Customer Image 1:

People on here say the Chi does this and that, and I had to see for myself the “Truth” My new hairstylist has been using the Chi on my hair and I couldn’t believe something so small could FIX African Napz! Which is really coursed , beaty hair that often curls. It’s a pain to deal with causing most females with that kind of hair to spend 60-$100 on perms.
I purchased the CHI BLUE NANO I have used cheap wal-mart straightens usually before a perm and I have never washed my own hair my stylist does it.
For the first time I washed and straightened my own hair (Look at picture 1,2,3) and that’s what it did made it look so..BEAUTIFUL for $140.00 it’s worth it. I have went to the salon 1 time since March “once” compared to 4 times a month. “Once a week”
I use IC TEA SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND IC STRAIGHTNEING SERUM WITH MIZANI SPRADIANCE and CHI PLIABLE POLISH FOR LIFT. I swear to the lord above me it’s a Miracle what Chi has designed it’s the best and if African Americans can use it also it’s a LIFE SAVER! EVERYONE IN THE WORLD SHOULD HAVE ONE!!!! No more Perms or touch ups its all right here WONDERFUL-HEALTHY HAIR IN 30 MINS “1 HR IF WASHING & BLOWDRYING”
not that good.

I was going to buy this chi, then I saw the solia vs. chi thing and decided on the solia. Solia snagged my hair, wouldn't straighten some parts, and my hair would come completely undone whenever I went outside. Eventually I got sick of it so I bought the nano Chi. This works SO MUCH better than the Solia, honestly you can't even compare the two. It never snags and keeps my hair completely straight, even overnight! Best purchase I've ever made.

I did my research, read the reviews and heard that the CHI is the best. I had narrowed it down to CHI and FHI and decided on the CHI nano. When I received the CHI in the mail it didn't work. I am undecided on whether to give the CHI another chance, I have read comments about how they stop working after a week, sometimes after a year but I thought those were isolated cases until I received one that didn't work at all.

When it worked it worked awsome but it turned itself off when I was doing my hair for GRAD and now it won't turn on again. I had it for almost a year and like I said it worked amazing when it worked but then it just died out of no where, it never stoppped keeping heat or anything before this.
I know how to take care of the flat iron, I am a stylist, so that is not the problem. Very disappointed.
sucky :(

I started out with the original chi and liked it but decided to upgrade. I paid $200 for this one and was very dissatisfied. I had already given my other one away which was a lot better in my opinion. I think that the quality of chi has gone way down as they are trying to keep up with the competition. I def. do not recommend this one at all. It damaged my hair so bad from having to go over each piece so many times because it wouldn't straighten right.

I would never waste my money on a chi again. At first, I loved it becaue it left my hair soft and smooth. Now, I have had my chi for ten months and already it does not heat up anymore and it pulls a lot of my hair out. I do not have my receipt anymore so now I would have to pay 35 dollars to get it repaired. I would not be surprised if it would break again after a few months. They do not last very long at all.
Why not?

I've had my CHI for about 4 months. It works just as well as it did when I first bought it....Great! My hair is really hard to straighten and I've probably bought 6 different cheap flat irons that all broke. I still have to go over my hair twice but I highly doubt that some magical flat iron exists that will completely transform your hair. Cost is reasonable, not to cheap and not too crazy(not like 300 bucks)...you get what you pay for.
Perfect Straightener!

I got a chi about three months ago, and it works great!
Before i got my Chi, i used the cheap 40 dollar Conair straighteners. After using the Chi, i will never go back! I have thick wavy hair, and i use the straightener and it's perfectly straight! it takes me about four minutes to straighten my hair...
I LOVE IT.

I have long blonde hair and it is natural wavy. I have the chi. All of my friends have it and i heard it work good. It work great for like 2 months but now when i use it is horrible. I use it every morning before school and i been relizing that little parts of my hair are wavy and it looks horrible. In the beginning my hair was never frizzy when i used it now it is always frizzy. I am from long island and its not because its humid outside. Also when i got the chi i had it for 2 weeks and it broke so we got a new one. Now i wasted my money for something that worked for 2 months.
Don't bother

I've had my Chi Nano for at least two years and it still works as well as it did when I first got it. It's well worth the money and it never fails to make your hair extra striaght and very soft. :)
