Sorry, this iron is for 110V. | does it damage hair
I have pretty curly hair, and I enjoy wearing it curly although sometimes i would like to have it straight. My question is, will straightening my hair over time damage my hair? Or if I try and wear it curly will it eventually not look as good, as it did before I began straighening it? Question posted by Melissa Sat Jan 13 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Andee Hoos

I am a hair dresser and am suprised of the numerous times I hear people blaming the flat iron for burning and damaging their hair. If you use a heat protection spray (Chi makes one) this will help. Straightening will damage your hair, after all you are cooking it. You can decrease or sometimes eliminate the overall damage by using a spray on guard before hand. It's the same as wearing suntan lotion to protect us from the sun. Consistant straightening will have no effect on how your hair looks when it's curly. | Sedu or CHI
I really want to buy a new straightner. But I don't know which to buy because both the Sedu and CHi straitners have great reviews. My hair is really curly, and I want a straitner that does the job fast and well.. which do you recommend?? Question posted by Katie Mon Jan 08 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Mary

You actually have to get an iron that is going to work for YOU and benefit YOU in the long run. Remember just because a certain product may work for that person may not work for you. People have to realize that everyone's hair type is different. In my opinion the CHI nano works very well on my hair and leaves it soft and very silky. | How do i curl using my Chi Straightener?
I'm having a lot of trouble curling my hair with my new straightener, it would be helpful if you guys could tell me step by step directions in how to hold and turn my straightner in order to create REALLY nice soft curls. i'd really appreciate it, THANKS!! get a little piece of hair start from the top turn the iron ALL the way aroud going outwards(opposite a curling iron),(turn the iron were you want the curl to start) and then come all the way down (hold tight because you don't want your hair to slip out).....practice most people don't get it right away | do you have the chi nanos in hot pink
