dissapointing!!!!

this chi is terrible! 1st: i have naturally thick, long, but mostly strait hair & have used chi before so i was very dissapointed w/ this iron, chis of my past have worked fine & made my hair beautiful!, but this 1 required like 10 pass throughs before it got my hair strait & ripped my hair out in the process!! also the grooves on the top hurt my fingers like crazy!! what is their purpose anyway!!??! btw it also died like 5 months after i got it & i took really good care of it..... all in all chi's irons are usually awesome but this 1 is a piece of crap!!! gat it 2gether chi!

I should have listened to all the other reviews. My hair is naturally wavy and it's not too thick, rather easy to style. I was going overseas for a month and I needed a flat iron that worked. I thought that since Chi was a trusted brand I couldn't go wrong with this flat iron...but I was wrong. This flat iron is awful!!! It only has an on/off switch, barely gets hot enough to style hair. It has the same problems overseas. I would recommend finding a different flat iron to travel with. This one is SO BAD and it's not worth the money at all.

i bought this chi iron because i thought it would be really good and travel friendly., but i was wrong. i have naturally curly hair and i like using a high heat setting this iron has no heat adjustment. Although Chi is a good brand, this one literally pulled my hair out!!! ahhhhhhhh Also, it took probably double the time doing my hair! :( sry chi

The travel size CHI flat iron gets too hot while holding it, and after 8 months the LED light won't stay lit, I think the cord has problems. It is not comfortable to hold at all. I'm living overseas and use it regulary through a transformer, so the heat coming from it is fine, but it's dying a lot sooner than I expected it to. I miss my full size CHI.

Wee Chi was soooo much better

My Wee Chi stopped working and I had it sent back to Farouk. I guess this is the new one that replaced the Wee Chi because this is what I got back. OMG...so not worth the money. It doesn't even get hot enough to straigten my hair. Waste of money. So if you are thinking about purchasing this...I wouldn't. Save your money.
