ok, I have wavy thick coarse hair and I do not like to blow dry or straighten, I let my hair dry naturally. This conditioner is awesome. I live in Houston, Texas; there is mega humidity here and my hair usually frizzes and I lose my curls/waves but I have just started using this and my hair looks great, no frizz, lots of body, does not look weighed down. I love it! I also have been using the CHI curle preserve system shampoo and it is great too. Whatever is in these products, it works. My hair hasn't looked this healthy in a long, long time. Buy it!!!!

I was just browsing thru the website and felt compelled to help some of the poor souls here who do not understand how to properly use this product .. or perhaps don't understand the purpose of this product.
First of all, look at the bottle. What does it say?
"Infra Treatment", "Thermal Protective".
"Infra" meaning below or within .. Thermal means heat ...
This product does EXACTLY what the bottle says.
It infuses your hair with keratin, sulphur and other ingredients below the surface or within the hair shaft ("infra") to protect your hair from heat ("thermal") damage.
Think of it as a hair "strengthener".
When used as per the instructions (leave on 2-5 minutes), your hair gets unsurpassed protection from blow-drying, flat-ironing and curling irons.
If you "fry" your hair, this product strengthens the hair to protect it from heat damage.
Five stars!
I'd give it TEN stars if I could.
When used properly, you will get the results you want ... stronger hair.
This product is not a detangler.
If you have tangle-prone hair, I would suggest using Chi-Silk for easy combing.

The folks who have negative reviews about these products must not be following the instructions... Remember ladies, "less is more" - this product requires only a small amount be used for each application. The scent is fantastic... and the results, when used correctly are nothing short of great. I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

This product is wonderful. I have used Biosilk in the past and it DAMAGED my hair. Realizing that there is actually Alcohol in Biosilk (which dries out your hair) I turned to an alternative product to protect my hair from everyday blow-drying and straightening. My hair stylist recommended CHI and from the moment I used it, I love it! It smells wonderful and it works great.
I tend to dye my hair a lot and on top of that, blow-dry and striaghten it everyday, so if you do the same, I'd recommend you put some of this product in BEFORE styling your hair.

Uh, you really are not that informed on hair products are you? Pantene? Tresseme? Thats like using Comet (a bathroom cleaner) on your hair! Its horrible for your hair! Thats why after you rinse the Pantene conditioner out of your hair, it feels like crap again!!

I have read some of the bad reviews about CHI and I was taken a back because I have not found a more superior technologically advanced and complex product out there. Trust me, I have used just about everything there and CHI ranks among the best. My hair was thermally reconditioned using the CHI line, so my hairdresser recommended using the CHI products and I am a user FOR LIFE. The CHI Infra Treatment leaves my hair "treated" and infused. This product does not coat the hair like some run of the mill products do. This product actually treats the hair. It smells fantastic, there is no residue, and there are definitely no "metal fragements" as one reviewer mentioned and I don't know where they got that from. While I love the Infra Treatment, I just purchased the Nourish Intense Mask. Consistency wise it would appear to delivery more of a coating affect than the Infra treatment. I plan on interchanging them.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL CONDITIONER FOR YOUR HAIR ESPECIALLY IF YOU FLAT IRON. I USE THE CHI LINE AND THIS IS ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT FROM THE LINE. IT IS A LITTLE "PASTEY" BUT IT WORKS. MY HAIR IS CONDITIONED WITHOUT THE "BUILD-UP" FEELING.

I just spent $75 on CHI products last night at a local pharmacy and, fortunately, I DID keep my receipt (unlike one of the other gals...) and it is ALL going back! My hair feels like DOLL hair!!!!! Absolutely NO silky feeling with THIS stuff! So, if you are being told by your hairdresser that this is the "best" stuff...take my word for it....DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! You'll regret it! I have to, now, go purchase another product, just to get this "residue" feeling OUT of my HAIR!!!!!

Chi Infra Treatment is excellent. I have atrican hair and the Chi Infra Treatment makes my hair feather light and fluffy. I use in conjunction with the Chi Shampoo and Chi Gel.

pantene is leaving my hair crunchy - which i cut off because i wanted all the thermally reconditioned hair off since it was just bad - so while growing it out I am surprised to feel my hair is still crunchy. Well CHI left it soft, both the shampoo and conditioner. My dresser suggested Nioxin and this actually leaves my hair softer than Nioxin and fluffier and bigger which the nioxin does not - i will use the nioxin bottle becasue it cost ALOT - but CHI is a better deal for soft and big hair. I have mixed texture (multiracial hair) that is closer to caucasian hair but still has ethnic texture to it - this stuff works!!!!

I think that the Chi Infra Treatment is awesome. I have very curly and very very frizzy hair. When I use the Infra Treatment it made drying my hair end up with not such a scary, frizzy result, or if your don't dry your hair this stuff helps your hair dry with more of a silky smooth result. I definatly recommened this product as an excellent conditioner. And it smells great too.
I wish I kept my receipt! =(

Ok, I recently just purchased a CHI flat iron because I thought it was the greatest thing in the world when my hair stylist used it on me. My hair felt so soft and smooth. I had never seen it shine so much in my life. So, I thought that maybe getting the CHI hair products would just help my hair's texture a whee bit more.
Nope, I purchased both the shampoo and infra treatment and it felt bad. I mean, it was like I had tiny metal fragments stuck to my head and my scalp felt sore. My hair was so dry and brittle that I even tried using the smoothing cream and keratin mist to condition it out. Nope, my hair felt so nasty and people thought my hair looked liked it went through a train wreck!
I had to end up taking another shower 2 hours later just to get rid of the "blah feeling" I had on my head. I ended up using Redken Softning Shampoo & Conditioner to fix my problem. I then topped it off with the Bed Head leave-in conditioner just to fix the damage. I will NEVER buy another CHI hair product again! I just wish I kept the receipt so I could bring it back for a complete refund. *sigh*
I have used many products from Tresseme, Herbal Essences, Redken, Bed Head,Catwalk, Paul Mitchell and Pantene. I would recommend these products instead. From a person who has done a lot of processing to her long, wavy, thick hair - my hair stylist has commented that she has never seen anyone keep their hair so healthy. I would like to keep it that way, thank you very much!

Because I like my hair big!
This conditioner is great because it leaves my hair:
FLUFFY, PUFFY, & BOUNCY.
I then dab on a little Chi Silk Infusion to add super silky shine, and I'm out the door!
That all equals = big shiny hair.
This conditioner does not leave a heavy film, and does not weigh down the hair.
