I love my blowdryer...it works so good and fast........if I am straightening the hair I always use the attachment and it seems to make the hair soft and shiny...and it is quiet...I always have people askin me what kind of blow dryer i'm using because it is so quiet...I don't like the CHI flat iron but I love the Blow Dryer!!!!!!..oh yea i'm African American and i'm a licensed cosmotoligist and I use it in the Salon I work at...

Ugh - I couldn't stand this dryer! It lasted just less than a year and I regretted buying it every time I used it. The high setting was too hot and weak at the sake time, so it took forever to dry my hair (and I do not have thick hair). The low setting wasn't worth using. After about 6 months the settings switch started getting touchy - sometimes it would work, sometimes not. I can't believe I spent so much money on this thing and got such poor performance from it. It didn't make my hair look any better than my husband's $15 drugstore hairdryer. A few weeks ago the setting switch started shorting out and I tossed it in the garbage. I recently ordered a FHI dryer based on positive reviews - hopefully it will be better than the CHI. I will never buy another CHI product again (even though my CHI flat iron lasted almost 8 years - its only now that I have a Sedu that I realized that the CHI iron wasn't all that, either. It used to catch my hair all the time, something that never happens with the new Sedu).

I can't believe I spent $140.00 and it only lasted 7 months. I had $10 hairdryers that lasted years. The dryer does not let out hot air anymore only cold air when I tried to blowdry my hair. I'm extremely dissapointed.

The Chi Hairdryer was given to me as a gift for personal use only. It shorted out and threw sparks everywhere. The sparks caused burns over my hand. I am highly disappointed. The price is way too much for such as this to happen. A $10 product would last much longer. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my blowdryer It does everything it says it would do and more!!!!LOL What has got me confused is what kind of use people give their blowers that they brake them soo quickly!!! It is for the hair!! Laundry and everything else needs a bigger dryer people!!!

I am a hairstylist and when I first started Cosmetology school I traveled to Hairshows....well I watched Chi there and they are awesome, so I figured on buying one of their hairdryers..it cost me 150.00$ and I should have just bought a 10$ hairdryer from a dollar store. It absolutly sucked. I see no difference in them than any other cheap hairdryer..that was a BIG LOSS of 150.00$ I will never do that again.

I have had a CHI flat iron for years and loved it. So when Christmas came around I begged my husband for a CHI blowdryer too. After much convincing of why he MUST spend so much money on a blowdryer he bought it for me. It is now May and it has already quit working. From the day one of using this blow dryer it didnt blow very hot or fast. It took twice as long to dry my hair. Now it has quit blowing hot air at all! It only blows cold! AFTER ONLY 5 MONTHS!!! I do not advise buying this blow dryer. I feel like I convinced my husband to flush $140 down the toilet!! Definately not worth it!!!

like everyone else, I think this product is junk!! i bought because i wanted a good dryer to style my hair fast and look professonal. nope. far from it with this dryer! I used this dryer for 5 mins, and then pulled out my old cheap dryer $20 dryer because it works better. the chi dryer took forever to dry my hair, its quiet because it has such a low voltage, which wont dry your hair fast at all! I own a chi flat iron that i love. i expected a high quality product hair dryer from chi too, but this is far from high quality or preformance!

I paid almost $200 for this thing and it completely broke after 12 months (nice timing CHI). I now blow dry my hair by sticking my head out of the window on the way to work ... sometimes I walk my dog real fast then have him pant on my hair to dry it ... works as good as CHI.
LOVE IT!!!! A MUST HAVE!!!

I love my chi flat iron so much that my husband decided to surprise me with a chi hair dryer. I didn't think I could spend that much money on a hairdryer but it is worth every cent!!!! It dries my super long hair in half the time and definately smooths the fly-aways. If I blow dry with a round brush, I don't even need my flat iron!!! Great product, great investment (especially since I use it every day). Would highly recommend and I will never go back to cheap hairdryers again!!

IM A MALE HAIRSTYLIST AND BOUGHT THIS DRYER CAUSE EVERYONE WAS TELLING ME HOW MUCH FASTER IT DRIED HAIR. WRONG! I USED IT ON A CLIENT WITH CURLY HAIR AND COMPARED IT TO A $12.00 DRYER I BOUGHT. THE 12 DRIED IT TWICE AS FAST. DONT WASTE MONEY IM TELLING THE TRUTH. JUST LOOK AT THE WATTAGE. CHI- 1300 MOST CHEAP DRYERS GET 18-1900 WATTS DO THE MATH.

Just blow dryed my "stubborn coarse curly" hair for the 2nd time with my new dryer. I am in "awe" of the turn around in my hair with this dryer. No wonder my hair looked great at the salon and frizzy at home. I will pay the price for the Chi no matter what. I never want to be without it. I am a very satisfied customer. My hair has gone to prima donna silky hair and a complete turn around to the "Way we Were". Thank you for making a great product.

I've had this dryer about 3 months now, and use it daily. It works great, dries fast, is quiet, and I like the low EMF. I've never spent this much on a dryer, but I think this was a good purchase, given the health effects of EMF. Zippy color, too!

My husband bought me the GF1541 Turbo for Christmas. It worked for only 5 months, & now only blows cold air. Obviously, the quality doesn't match the price! I tried fixing it, as was suggested by another poster, but it still doesn't work. I've had less expensive dryers that lasted for years. Also, I must agree with others about it getting too hot, & the on/off button located right in the area where it's held. Consequently, one is accidently turning it off, which can be extremely annoying. I'm returning it tomorrow to the salon where he bought it.

I think this hair dryer works great. The only thing that I don't see that it does is dry my hair any faster. I do notice that it doesn't get as hot. That is especially nice so that I don't get too hot. I like how it doesn't dry my hair out either.

I loved this product so much!! The best hairdryer I have ever used. Heats up quickly, is quiet, and my hair looks shiny and smooth when done. Unfortunately the heat coil went on it in 8months of owning it. That sucks big time! I don't know if thats a flaw in it, or I just got a lemon, but I still believe in the product.

I recive this hair dryer, and its the worst hair dryer I ever Have... makes my hair so frizzie and doesnt help to avoid humidity wheter problems with your hair at all.. dont buy it!!!

I've had this hair dryer for a few weeks, and I love it! It is QUIET. I bought it because it said it was quiet and low EMF. As long as it continues to work properly long term, I'll be glad I paid this much for a hair dryer!

Not only does this hair dryer suck, it sucks on ice. There is no power to it and it doesn't get very hot at all. I bought it as a package deal with the flat iron, so now I can't even return it. I would not recommend this hair dryer to African-Americans. It is clearly not for us.
