QUALITY OF DRYER and diffuser problems
i am a hairstylist and was thinking about purchasing this blowdryer.however i have heard that the attachments/diffuser does not stay on the dryer and falls off easily...anyone know if this is true?also how well does this dryer actually work at 1300 watts is it powerful enough? will it fry mine and clients hair?

Wrap a pony tail or rubber band around the end of the dryer barrel. Then put the attachment on of that. Works great for holding on any attachment!

I have had the black one and last few years the red only one thing dont drop it very delicat and had to relace one as i got tangled up and it crash to floor and make funny noise now . Still works good though just noisy.

Use in Canada
I live in Canada and was wondering if anyone has this hair dryer and uses it in Canada. It says on the page that it is not for household use in Canada, seems a bit odd. If anyone has any info on that it would be really helpful.

it has nothing to do with the product performance in Canada, it is more about the legality and gov regulation in Canada. Manufacturer just want to protect itself.

attachments
I'm new to using dryers on my own,(i used to just air dry it) but I just bought this chi dryer and I was wondering is it ok to use it without the attachments? Do they really make a difference? Since when unatached it just seems to be completely open and I don't want to fry my hair. Thanks, if you can help!

the attatchments help keep away from hair so you dont burn. and part of the ionic feature is actually built into the plastic of that tip. I called farouk to make sure. this dryer gets so hot its much safer to use with atatchments.

Comb attatchment
I have a red chi blow dryer, which came with a diffuser. I really need a long figer comb attatchment like the one that comes with the black chi blow dryer. Does anyone know where I can purchase this attatchment? Will another brand attatchment fit this blow dryer?

Try using a different shampoo & conditioner. Since I started using MOP ( Modern Organic Product) I don't have such a problem with that. Also, I use the Paul Mitchell Skinny serum before my hair is dry and that seems to help as well.

The CHI dryer that my hairdresser uses is an older one and the diffuser twists on. I bought one of the newer ones and the diffuser does not twist on any longer, but just pushes on. It does not stay on!! I love the dryer, but am ready to toss it because I spend more time picking the diffuser up off the floor rather than drying my hair. I wish CHI would go back to the original design.

Is It Fast
I have Medium-Short hair which I like to wair straight and scrunched. Strainting my hair is no problem but DRYING it with a blow dryer is. I was wondering if the Hair Dyrer is quick to use? If you know of a faster one on this website please give me the name! I'll buy anything at this point!!!!!

voltage...
The CHI dryer is my favorite and I have not had access to one for over a year. I am working in Singapore where it is incredibly humid every day, so my wiry thick curly hair is unruly. I am tempted to order a CHI (none available here) but the voltage here is 240. Anyone know if there is a 240V model available?

Does the Chi Turbo Dryer (red/Silver) come with the finger attachment?
My stylist used this attachment on my hair the other day and I loved it, but I have not read anything about the different attachments that come with this dryer. I know it comes with a diffuser, but what about the finger attachment?

I don't think the dryer comes with a diffuser attachment, but you can purchase an attachment yourself, Folica offers a pretty nice selection of diffusers.
