I have super thick hair and it takes me forever to straighten it. The 2" chi makes it go much fast.

I had my EXTREMELY curly (type 3c) hair thermally reconditioned. Prior to buying my Chi I was blow drying and using a conair flat iron. I could never get my hair to look smooth - it was always somewhat frizzy. My hair would get caught in the conair and it would take forever to get somewhat hot. Finally, I resorted to going to the salon for blow outs and it was getting expensive. So I bought this Chi. Folica.com had extremely fast shipping and I was so excited to get my flat iron 2 days after I placed my order. The Chi is easy to use and leaves my hair smoothe and shiny.
I don't wash my hair every day because it takes me about an hour to blow dy and then flat iron my hair. Also, I think my hair will get really damaged if I use that kind of heat on it every single day. Instead, I leave my hair for about a week. I will use my flat iron once or twice in that week for some touch ups (e.g. bed head cowlicks), but otherwise my hair stays nice and frizz free.

My best friend had a Chi and i tried it one day and fell IN LOVE. I have alot of hair, but it is fine-textured from coloring, and wavy as well, and the CHI is the ONLY thing that will work. My only issue is getting close to the roots, but now i can skip blowdrying all together and wake up and CHI. 15 minutes later i'm good to go

I had the 1" Chi previously, but after dropping it several times, it broke...so I moved up to the 2" Chi and I absolutely love it! The covering over the ends helps to keep me from burning my neck and hands while using it as well. I would highly recommend this product.

WOW! What a product! I Love it! I have naturaly curly hair and have always wanted straight hair. I have used other straightners in the past but nothing like this,my hair is
so soft and straighter than i ever hoped for it to be.

I am in Love with my new Flat Iron...I've been using Chi for many years now and the product is good. It leaves my hair with shine. I have long hair and it took me only 20 minutes to do my hair...I recommend this product to everyone. & MY Friends also Love it.

I really enjoy my time savings using the CHI. It works so well, the strokes don't have to be repeated over and over. Which is a good thing -- it is so heavy and bulky. For someone with arthritis or fibromyalgia it is a struggle.

I have thick, curly, frizzy, poofy hair that is unmanageable and horrific if it is slightly humid outside. I'm only eighteen, and i've been through about 5 straighteners. I was excited when the ceramic ones came out because I heard they are the best, but I would still have to straighen my hair about three times before going out, and if it rained, all bets were off - I would be ugly for the night. BUT this straighter is heaven-sent! I straighten once and my hair is STICK straight! No questions asked. And the best part is, I can walk in the rain and my hair does not frizz or poof AT ALL.
I know it's expensive, but it is worth every penny!

Alright, chi straightners are not that great. They don't even leave your hair straight the whole time on a night on the town! You're hair starts to get its wave and frizz look as soon as you head out! People need to start exploring outside to the chi department and stroll on over to the fhi counter! a-m-a-z-i-n-g let me tell you! results last until you wash your hair! don't be spending a million dollars on chi straightners, just buy a fhi which I've had the same one for 5 years and it still works as good as it has since day 1!

hi my name is jessica and i wanted to rate the chi at #1, i had purchased the solia limited edition with the intent on it being better than the chi, as that is what it said in its reviews, i finally recieved it and it started to burn my hair and started smoking while i was attempting to straighten it, it was also pulling out my hair in the process. it was terrible, and the way the outward appearance on it was ridiculous, it felt nasty, nothing compared to the chi. the chi does wonders on my hair without even frying my hair. no smoke no nothin!! NEVER BUY THE SOLIA!! im serious, i payed like 85.00 for it and i sure got my moneys worth. seriously invest your money in something better, the chi is great and wont fry your hair, wont pull, and it wont even smoke when you are straighting, its really smooth!!! i love my chi! i couldnt see myself using anything else anymore and belive me i wont be doing anymore experimenting with any other straightners.

I recently purchased the CHI flat iron (2") and it is fabulous! I have long hair and I have searched and searched for a flat iron that really delivers what they promise and I finally found it with the CHI. I have purchased 2 other flat irons and none of them compare to the CHI. I use to go to my hair stylist to get that straight hair look (with his flat iron) that stays but I no longer have to visit my stylist ever since I purchased the CHI. I can do it myself and get the same results now with my CHI. I highly recommend the CHI (2"). Thank you for a great product!

Ya it's pretty much the most swicked thing ever. i have pretty straight hair to begin with but now.. WOW. i basically love it moer than my cat. it takes like 2 minutes and wam its done. i would recomend it to anyone. THANX CHI!!!

I had purchased this iron to replace my all black 2" Chi. I thought it would be a better iron because it was a little more expensive. Definately not the case! I used it twice then threw it into the back of a closet. I went out and purchased the same one I had last time. On this iron, it doesn't close all the way on one side and it seems lighter and flimsier. I also felt it didn't get as hot as I needed it.
It works!
