My hairdresser suggested this product and I am very happy with it. My thick, dark , frizzy wavy, long hair can be straightened perfectly in 15 mins!!

I have thick and very long hair and my 2" CHI worked wonders at getting it silky straight. If you are looking for a flat iron, this one definitely works. It heats up quickly and does the job very quickly!
However, here are my two complaints....
- Don't try and use big sections at a time, the ends of the plates will snag and pull out your hair. As long as you use smaller sections, you will be fine.
-My CHI worked for exactly one year and 2 months. I do use it pretty much every single day but, for being as expensive as it is, I would have expected it to last much longer.
So now I'm in the market for a new flat iron. I think I'm going to try the Sedu, it has some great reviews.
Don't get me wrong, you will love the look of your hair after using the CHI, I would just like one that lasts more than a year of use.

I was afraid of this, and it has happened. Gave the 2" chi to my neice for a Christmas gift. She loved it and it worked fine until today. Just got an email from my sister asking for the receipt, becuase the Chi Turbo 2" stopped working. I checked to make sure they found the reset button, and they did. It was tried several times, and they even tried different electrical outlets. Now after looking at the return policy, the $130.00 I spent is water down the drain. I am now looking at the Solia becuase I have not seen any issues like the problems with the Chi.

I have pretty curly hair, and all my other straighteners just didnt cut it. It took me no time at all to get my thick unruly hair nice and straight and frizz free!

My hair is smooth, and straight without breakage.
It works awesome on my thin hair and awesome on my daughter's thick wavy hair! better than I ever thought!

I purchased 2 one of myself and one for my sister! Our flat Iron had just blew out after 6 years, and we didn't want to buy one that was not going to do us any good! We have some friends who own one and we have used it so we already knew it was going to be worth it!! My sister was a little ify about it but she loves it!!!
Can't live without it!

I have thick, wavy, long hair and everything I used prior to being introduced to the Chi straightner 2yrs ago would burn my hair, not to mention the time it took: 1-1/2 hrs. Frustrated, I would go to the salon and pay $30 to have my hair professionally straightened twice a week.
I purchased my first Chi straightner 2yrs ago for $200.00. To date, it continues to deliver excellent results. My daughter uses it also. I bought a 2nd straightner through your website because I couldn't resist passing up a deal! I do not want to be left "stranded" without my CHI in case my old one breaks down. It takes 30 minutes to straighten my hair now and I always get compliments about how healthy, shiny and beautiful my hair looks that 4 of my friends have purchased one through your website.

I love my CHI Ceramic Flat Iron (Turbo, 2"). It is the best flatiron I have ever used. Also, I have long, thick hair and the 2" iron works much better than the traditional smaller irons. I would highly recommend the Chi to anyone needing or wanting a flatiron.

my daughter has long, thick hair that's a little unruly. we tried a couple of less expensive irons with no success. it took about 45 minutes to straighten her hair. with the Chi straightener, she's finished in about 15 minutes and her hair is much more silky. great product!

I have very thick wavy hair and the Chi Turbo 2 has been easy to use and now I require less time to style my hair. I have been using flat irons for years and this is the best flat iron yet.

This product has been by far the best invension ever made. I don't have to visit the beauty parlor as much. Only for a trim and thats it. This product has worked miricles on my hair when I gave up on it. It is very easy to use and stores almost anywhere. I highly recomend this to everyone.

My boyfriend bought this product for me because I was complaining about the straightening iron that I had. You always try to buy something that is not only affordable but also something that is going to last. All the other products I had purchased just were not cutting it. After a few weeks they would either no longer heat up like they did before or or the plates would just start to flake and crack. The Chi works so great. I have to fix my hair every day, so I definately needed something that was going to be durable. It not only gets hot quickly and cools down quickly, but it does a fantastic job at giving me the straight look I want. My hair is not all that curly but it is thick so this straightner really cuts the time it takes to fix my hair to less than half the time it did before.

It heats up so fast, no more waiting. It does wonders for very unruly hair. My hair is the type that is frizzy and will do what it wants, but with this iron my hair is like any other straight haired woman. Its one of the best products on the market, which does what it says. I got the other 1" version and that worked well, but this one is improved from that one. I can straighten my hair in half the time of the smaller flat iron, just something to consider when buying a Chi product. To me time is worth the extra money.

I was very pleased with the Chi 2" flat iron. After I ordered it I read a review that said it was too big it and awkward to use and this led me to believe that I may have trouble with it, considering that I dont do my own hair often. However, I have to disagree with the lady's opinion because I find it very manageable and there is a huge difference between the before and after. I was very impressed.

This is the fourth flat iron I have owned. I was hesitant to pay so much for this item because in the past I have paid $14, $25, and $60. I guess it was time to upgrade one more time and I was not disappointed! This flat iron is the hottest one I have owned and the velvet around it helps keep down the heat. It flattens on the first try!
