Awsome Straightener !!!!!!

I love it!!! I've had my CHI for about two years and it still gets the job done. I have very frizzy and wavy hair but then I just use my CHI and in like 10 minutes my Hair is straight and silky smooth no more frizz!!! it's appsolutley amazing!! i would definatley recomend this straightener to anyone!!!

I am a very satisfied Mom who at first reculantly spent this much money on this CHI "2 flat iron for my daughter 2 years ago for Christmas! WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT!!!! =) Now it is not working, it has been used almost daily so we expected it to wear out but it has been a good 2 years with it. NOW, I am in the process of ordering a new one for my daughter very soon! The exactly same one I ordered 2 years ago. =) It works on my daughter's thick hair very well!
You aren't wasting money.

I am 15 years old, and have long, very curly hair. I bought the CHI turbo 2" and am very happy with it. I was afraid at first to spend all of that money on a straightener, but am glad I did. I had a pretty good one before I purchased my CHI, but it still did not compare. I can straighten my hair in much less time and it is very, very, soft. Plus, it stays straight. I love it and you will too. The 2" is very good. I would recommend it over a 1", especially for long hair. If you are contemplating over whether to buy one or not, do it- it's worth the money!

I have very thick,long, curly hair and this is the best flat iron ever. I will never buy anything but Chi! And this Turbo allows me to do my hair in 30 minutes! I would recommend it to any one. Everyone that has borrowed it from me loves it and wants to own one! I send them to folica.com! Great service, excellent price...no comparison!

I bought this iron 4 years ago and it worked perfectly the whole time. It recently broke when I accidentally stepped on it. But I was very pleased with the Chi. It straightens hair quickly, although it is kind of bulky. I've never had any problems with it.
It breaks!!! I have owned 4!!!

I bought this item from Folicia in April. Less than one month later it broke. It does not turn on. I have tried everything. I spent over $100 for nothing. I was also out of town, and couldn't style my hair because nobody with me had a straightening iron.
This product might work really well when it works, but you also run the risk of this product shorting out and breaking even within a month of buying it!!!
I have owned 4 of these and the longest that any of them lasted was about 1.5 years. Then it was about a year each for the next two. This last one lasted me one month. I guess I expected at least a year out of it, but just like some of the other reviews on here, you run the risk of not getting much use out of it.
Find another high-quality straightener with less electrical problems in its build. That's my advice to myself and anybody else out there who is looking to spend a buck on a reliable hair appliance.

i have owned this straightener for over 3 years now and it still works amazing. every other straightener has given up right after the warranty. if your looking for a top of the line starightener that will leave your hair amazingly silky straight this is it. if it works on my thick coarse curly hair it will work on anyones, also use with chi silk infusion!

Iam spanish and I have frizzy poofy hair and if i wanted my hair straight and sleek it would take forever and be such a hassle and at the salon i would pay 40 to 60 dollars everytime, but then i purchased the chi turbo and it is literally paying for itself in a week because i receive salon quality results everytime! Also i ordered it on tuesday with folica and received it on friday, so folica is an awesome source to order from. Beware of other offers on the internet that say they sell the chi with too good to be true prices because they are probably fake, that is circuting around alot lately so be careful and good luck!

those of you who said that the chi is not worth it, you some new kind of insane!!! i only used it ONCE at my friends house and i was hooked from then out!!! we straighted our hair in the morning...and the straight hair lasted throughout ice skating and eXtreme shopping and was still perfectly fine the next day!!! i live in a super humid area and it didnt effect it at all!!! my hair is normal frizzy... but this 8th wonder got my hair to feel like SILK!!! HAVE TO HAVE TO BUY IT... and im not lieing or exgaggerating...if you can remeber only one comment out of every comment remember THIS ONE

This is a great flat iron. It heats quickly and maintains the heat the entire time. I have natural African American hair and it takes me about thirty minutes to straighten and 1 hour if I want it really straight. Great. I would buy a million times over.

I have naturally wavyish straight hair. I got really tired of the crappy walmart flat irons so Id heard chi flat irons worked really good. One of my friends and aunt had one and i loved the way it made my hair look. So i decided to get one and it was totally worth the money!! Yea i kno your like well you have naturally straightish hair so of course it works lol but my hair also stays straight. it stays straight all day and looks great. and ive had mine almost a year and it works just as great as it did the day i got it as long as you take care of them they last.

Great hair straightener of course
my sister has HAD* one
While I have a GHD
We got up one morning
and as my sister plugged it in
and turned it on
we waited for ages
only to realise (advice from our dad xD)that the wire
was busted of course
My 13 year old sister was obviously hysterical as it was own money that payed for the straightener she is now in the process of buying a GHD
Does an amazing job but as of it
lasting for 6-8 months We expected so much more
for such an expensive straightener (for a 13 year old)
Great while it lasts.

I had a CHI for a little less than a year when it broke. It worked great for like the first three months until the ceramic coating started to come off. I was really upset that I had paid as much as I did for it only to find out the plates were metal just coated with ceramic. So I switched to the Paul Mitchell straightner which is completly ceramic plates and so far has been great.
