this product is one of the best i've ever tried. i used to have a really bad straightener before the chi, and after i got the chi, my life has forever been changed. It works amazing well on my very massive hair, as you can tell by the pictures. I would not be suggesting this product if i did not love it 100%.
I've never made a better decision. GET THIS. YOU WONT BE SORRY.

This is the best flat iron ever!!!! It only took me about 30 minutes to straighten my hair. I have tried so many other brands: Solia, Hottools, and Conair. None of them worked. This is definately my favorite!!!!! I use it everyday!!! BUY THIS FLAT IRON!!!!

well, i purchased the one inch turbo about two summers ago and i have really thick, long, curly hair. It did the job but the 2 inch is 100% better. it covers a bigger area and cut my drying/straightening time to 20minutes where it was about 40 before. although i recommend the smaller one if your hair is on the thinner/not so long side.

I loved this product when i got it and the half year i had it, until it stopped working, i have the big 2 inch one that is like 200$ and i dont have enough to buy another. I wish somethng so expencive would have a better life expenctency. This product was good untill the cord broke and started sparking. Not very safe!

i had the chi 2" flat iron for exactly a year and it worked great for about 11 and a half months of that year. i have a lot of very curly hair and i can do my hair extremely well in about an hour with this. people couldn't even tell my hair was naturally curly, this flat iron really got the job done. then about two weeks ago, it started shutting off when i was using it. yesterday, it just died in the middle of me straightening my hair. im not sure why. i want another of the same brand because it worked great but im wondering if it's worth it because it only lasts for a year. aside from it dying, i would rate it 5 stars because it straightens my hair really well and makes it silky.

I live in very humid weather, and the chi turbo is awesome. My hair will stay straight until the next washing (even on rainy days). The 2" is great for long hair, and it does a great job flipping the ends, giving my hair the full body look. I also love that you can adjust the temperature setting. I have very course, curly, frizzy hair at the crown of my head, but my hair around my face is just a little wavy. I don't have that fried bangs look. It works good enough that I don't have to use the highest temp even on the frizziest section of hair. I use my straightener on a daily basis. I used to buy those cheaper $30 irons, what used to take me an hour and a half w/ only ok results, now only takes 30-40 minutes w/ the CHI. I am on my second chi turbo, and like all chi products, 1 year into it and the wire is shorting. Another problem i have with the turbo is the red material on the outside of the plates. My hair products get all cake up and it is very difficult to wipe off. I have to clean it every time i use it. It works great for about a year. This straightener is perfect if you can afford to replace it every 12 months.

I bought a Chi over a year ago and I use it everyday. Literally, everyday. I have tried alot of straighteners but Chi is my favorite! It leaves my hair bone straight, shiney and silky. I recommended the Chi to my best friend and she loves it. She was scared to use a straightener because of her hair, but she absolutely loves it. I definately recommend getting a CHI !

Great product but it only lasted 15 mos....3 mos out of warranty. Too much money for a product that doesn't last longer than that.

I love my chi straightener, but a couple days ago the light went out and it wouldn't heat up at all. I've had it for less than a year, and don't use it every day. Really disappointed.

The first time a CHI was used on my hair (I have what is called Bi-Racial hair) was on a trip to New Mexico and my sisters hair stylist used it. OMG my hair was beautiful! I had to have one not only do I have long thick curly.kinky,wavy hair but so does my daughter! I bought it worked great lasted 14 mnths........ I did some research and bought a Solia a little cheaper was worried that wouldn't work as well but..... ok heres the deal my first solia lasted 4.5 years only died when my neighbors daughter jumped on it and broke the case! I now have 2 Solias a 1 inch for curls and a 1.5 for straight styles.My daughter could not do her own hair before just too long and too thick! Had to either spend hours myself or spend an average of 80.00 weekly! She couldn't even do her own hair with the CHI! She is 17 now and since freshman year when I allowed her to use my first Solia she does her own hair and every time her friends think she has gone to the salon! If she curls it the curls last days if she strightens it it lasts until she washes her hair! Even if it rains her hair will stay straight! She used to beg to have it chemically strightned haven't had that conversation in years! I have much experience with the CHI personal use and several professionals have used it on my hair. My personal stylist bought a Solia a few months ago when her CHI went out now most of the stylists in her shop have purchased one as well! The CHI is good ladies but trust me the Solia is SO MUCH BETTER!

i love the straightner i believe it does work awesome while it lasts which mine did for over 2 1/2 years for as much as i use it it was well worth the price and with the price of them today id recommend buying another like i did because all the other brands just aren't good if you ask me especially if you have thick curly hair as myself but i am having the same problem with my cord in that if i dont hold it in the right spot it just doesnt stay on.. hopefully number two works as long as the first!

I have very long (past my navel) frizzy, very curly red hair. Previously I had used Vidal Sassoon and other fine straighteners- with those products it took me over an hour to straighten my hair. I had heard so many good things about Chi products, so I took a risk on spending more money on a better product. I was absolutely amazed at the results. I can now straighten my hair from it's naturally curly state in 30 minutes (did you catch how long my hair is?), it's smoother, shinier, and weightless. It's been several months now since I've gotten this product from Folica and it still works like a dream. Chances are that if you received a product that quit after a month or so, it had a manufacturing defect which does occasionally happen. Bottom line, Chi Rocks!

Most straighteners would leave my hair poofy straight
when i get my hair done, it doesn't even come out as good as it would with this. i had this straightener for 3 years now. and i was looking to get myself another one for Christmas. and i wont, because it is so good.
stick with CHI guys. its so great

After many years of straightening with cheap mediocre flat irons, I am so thrilled to own a Chi 2"! Not only does it straighten fast, but my hair has never felt so silkly and soft! Plus it doesn't cause the heat damage and split ends that other cheaper brands do. It is worth the price!

This product is amazing! I have Asian hair- thick, black, and curly. I had tried two Conair straighteners before this one, and they had both done terribly. The first month they worked great, simply straightening my hair. But, within a few more months, they refused to work. I was getting all of the damage, but none of the straight.
Then, I heard my friends talking about the CHI and how it works great on their hair, which is much like mine. And I thought, hmm. I should look in to this! So, i looked online and I found the Turbo CHI 2 inch. This straightener works best on long, thick hair. My curly hair transformed into straight, perfect hair.
But unlike other straighteners, the Turbo CHI does not simply straigten. It provides your hair with a certain silkiness that I have NEVER seen in any other straightener. It's professional and the results last long on my hair.
When I was about to buy the CHI, i looked at a few of the reviews on folica. Many peolpe said that it breaks, and that freaked me out a little, because i spent a lot of money.
Please, do not listen to those people! the reason why their straightener broke is because they misused it! i promise- unless they sell you fake ones (which they won't if you buy it from a credible website).
This is the perfect straightener for long, thick hair like mine. It provides your hair with silkiness, and it doesn't take much time to straigten. BUT! You must NOT straighten it when it's wet!
I'd give this a billion stars if i could!!

I had this product for less than a year when I went to use it one day it just did not turn on. It was still under the year warranty they replaced with no problems (other than me being without a flat iron for a few weeks). I received the replacement and 6 months later the cord started shorting out. I had to hold the cord in just the right spot in order for it to work… so I would assume wiring problems. Well it is now not covered under the warranty and had become so bad I cannot use it. I would not recommend this product for the amount of money it costs it does not last. While it was working it did a pretty good job, but that was only while it was working!

When I first bought it, it worked really well.
The quality of the Chi ceramic 2" flat iron is great but there are a lot of electrical problems associated with it. I always had my iron set to the highest temperature, and within 3 months i plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. My dad took it apart and the whole electrical setup inside was charred, black, and BURNT!!!!!! Basically, buy a different one!

I love it!!! I've had my CHI for about two years and it still gets the job done. I have very frizzy and wavy hair but then I just use my CHI and in like 10 minutes my Hair is straight and silky smooth no more frizz!!! it's appsolutley amazing!! i would definatley recomend this straightener to anyone!!!
