I will not go anywhere without my Chi!!!!
Forget other flat irons...there is NOTHING like the Chi!!
It is hot in a moment....turn it on and use it and turn it off....that is how easy it is!! I ALWAYS keep mine on the Pouch that comes with it for free if you buy it on this website...and is a great way to store it as well.
What can I say?? I LLOOVVEE MY CHI!!

I got one these babies when my hair stylist used a flat iron for the first time in my life.
I have long, wavy, think Asian/American hair and it made my stubborn hair into luscious, silky, stunning hair! I was soooo impressed that I turned around and bought this a few days later.
Just recently, I used the Bion Japanese Straightner 2 inch seems to work better for my hair. So that is why, I am just giving it 4 stars. I think I will just keep it around as a spare.

I recently got my Chi turbo flat iron and I LOVE IT!!! I would say its the Best flat iron out there!!!

I've had my CHI Turbo 1" for 2 years (seems like longer!). Mine was a gift, from my mother, that I had asked for. I have loved it ever since. It doesn't get regular use, but is still like new when I go to plug it in and turn it on. I find it easy to curl under my ends. I use to have shorter hair, and this was excellent for that, too. I just recently bought the CHI Turbo Dryer and I hope I have as great of results that I've had with my Flat Iron!

So I got this CHI thinking it was going to be a wonderful product! Let me just say, beware. I have to admit that it did a pretty good job at straightening my hair but it was a waste of my money in the end. I have had my CHI straightener for less then a year and it just quit working. I have taken good care of it and one day the light just stopped turning on and there was absolutly no heat. I sent my CHI to Farouk since they advertise on THIS WEBSITE that they have a warranty (one of the reasons I bought this in the first place). I have yet to recieve my CHI back from Farouk and its been 2 months. I called today and they informed me that since it was purchased through this website it does not qualify for a warranty and the faulty device will be sent back to me.
As I understand, this device has had similar problems of "just stopped working" as mine. I am very dissapointed in this product as well as this site who advertises the fact that there is a warranty. SO BEWARE!

Love the Chi, everybody uses the Chi iron. Friends and my hair dresser. Get's very hot fast. Leaves hair shiny and streight, and my hair is wild looking. But with the Chi, you would not think so.

Hi thank you so much for having this product. it is the best flat iron i have ever used, and i have tried them all. I have been using the chi hair products but not the flat iron, i really though all of them were the same. i was wrong my hair does not burn with the chi flat iron, also with the other flat irons my hair after 10 mins was curling again. with the chi it stays straight. i love it and it was shipped so fast. thank you so much. jackie

I bought my CHI(now the original model) 5 years ago when th eprice was higher $140.00 I am shocked to see that you can b uy them much cheaper now. All my friends thought I was crazy, untill I let them borrow it and within weeks 2 of them had bought their own. Now I have really thick wavy hair and I can straighten it on my own, but the CHI makes it flat and shiny, people always compliment me on it. Just now in it is starting to short out a little when I move the cord, and so it will turn off and on, it is annoying but all i can say is I've had it for 5 years and it just started, in fact it even outlasted my marriage. But when I first got it my hair was permend and it would take it instantly straight, its not as quick as it use to be but with the price drop, I will most likely just buy another!

I had ordered True Ceramic Pro and turned around and returned it. The quality was not good. I then ordered Chi Turbo and was very impressed with the quality and performance of the product. It really is a great buy. Chi is even cheaper than the True Ceramic Pro and is really a better quality. Great Buy, Great Product!!!

I recently purchased the CHI flatiron, and am pleased to say that it did exactly what I hoped it would do. I am African-American, and have thick, shoulder-length, frizzy hair. I washed my hair, let it air dry, put some Pantene Pro-V hair serum in my hair, parted it in big sections and warm combed the roots with a pressing comb. Then I used the CHI flat iron to completely straighten and smooth my hair. WOW, my hair has never had such body and shine before. I think I'll keep my money in my pocket and only visit the beauty shop when I need my ends trimmed!
Does not hold up well.

Do not waste your money on a Chi. I received mine as a present last April and in December it broke! When you move the cord it shuts off. I cannot keep my straightner on at all now. I also feel that the one year warranty isn't long enough for a $100 product that breaks after 8 months. Obviously this product is not that good of quality. Hopefully they will replace mine. Good luck!

I never owned a falt iron before in my life, but I had recently got my hair cut and the style required it. I was a little nervous to spend that kind of money on a product I wasn't even sure if I would know how to use...but I knew it was a good brand as it is the same one that my stylist has. Anyways, I am really glad that I made the purchase and love the way that my hair looks when I use it. I do try to give my hair a rest and only use it about 3 days out of the week though...

I recently purchased the Chi Turbo and I love it. It has lo/med/high settings and the medium setting works well on my mild relaxed hair. The regular Chi iron got too hot for my hair and left it bone straight without any body. My sister has thick hair and has purchased both the 1 inch and 2 inch chi turbos. I think she uses the high setting.

This is without a doubt the best flat iron i've tried to date. I used to have a Solano and then a Sedu and they were both good irons but this is just the best. It heats up extremely quickly, it's light, it never catches in your hair and it straightens in one sweep-through, which means that my hair is less damaged in the long run. I have very curly hair that I blow dry straight. I never used to flat iron it but I recently got it cut short and it just looks better pin-straight. I am extremely happy with this iron (it gives you that "I just came from a salon" look) and don't forsee myself straying.

My hairdresser has been "tsk-tsking" me for years about using cheap store-bought flat irons on my hair. She told me that the reason my hair gets so many split ends and fly-aways is a direct result of being too lazy (or too cheap) to buy a good flat-iron. She also told me that the Chi Ceramic Flat Iron - Turbo is the "industry standard". Finally for Xmas, I bought myself the CHI Cerami Flat Iron. I wish I had listened to her years ago. Besides the obvious improvement in my hair, the time it takes to iron my hair is cut in half - if not more. Did I say I love my Chi flat iron? I LOVE MY CHI FLAT IRON! No, I don't work for the company and am not paid for this review. I'm just a gal who got tired of being chastised from her hairdresser - and very grateful for finally listening to her. : )
