I used the CHI(1") for the first time today and I must say I am pleased with the results. It's very easy to handle and leaves your hair silky smooth. I no longer need to go to the hair salon to get these results. Unfortunately for me, I didn't purchase the CHI on this website. I purchased it from my local beauty supply store...the price I paid was consumer robbery. The price on this site is a steal...and you get the free pouch! I needed to do something with my hair today. As you know, desperate times call for desperate measures, so I took a lickin' and paid extra. Worth every $.

I heard about the Chi from my hair stylist. I trusted that she was making a good recommendation, even though the price was high. I read online some poor reviews and got nervous but made the purchase anyway. When I tried the Chi for the first time I knew I had made the right decision! Store brand straighteners didn't "glide" through my hair, but the Chi did. The best part was that I didn't have to continue straightening my hair throughout the day because one quick swipe in the morning left it straight all day. I know there are some poor reviews out there but I am very impressed with the Chi and even if it quits working, I will probably pay full price for another!

The CHI is awesome and works great. It heats up immediately, and the smaller size is really easy to use. I only wish I had switched to the CHI sooner!

I do not know if I just got a bad one but my Chi broke in a week. It did a good job on my hair but just was made for crap...

I am very happy with the chi flat iron. It heating is consistant and the ceramic is a plus. I have used cheaper so called ceramic irons and they do not heat evenly or heat as well. I like the felt or soft feature (padded like structure found on the tips) so that holding the iron with your fingers at the tips are cool to the touch. So I am very pleased with the puchase of this flat iron.

It heats up quickly and straightens my frizzy hair in ONE pass! The heat pouch allows for quick and easy storage, as well as counter protection.
seems great but problem with electrical cord

I actually bought two of them, one for myself and one for my daughter. I didn’t really have a chance to try it. Mine worked for one day. The day after, the iron didn't turn on. I had to return both of them and buy the regular Chi.

I purchased the CHI Turbo 1" and was a little dissapointed. The iron did not get hot enough to smooth the waves in my hair. I know CHI is a good product but just not for my personal needs. I returned it and purchased the FHI which reaches a hotter temperature and I am pleased with it so far.
Heating Less Than Expected

The CHI doesn't get as hot as I expected. The one that my hairdresser uses gets very hot. I got the adjustable heating because I wanted to be able to turn the heat down if necessary, but mine doesn't get that hot. It is very smooth and glides through my hair, without catching. Overall I am pleased.

I bought this Turbo Chi iron after my first regular Chi broke and love it even more! It works wonders on me and my friends' hair. They come over to use it they like it so much! I recommend it and give it an A+!

The packaging was really flimsy/seemed definitely foreign. The iron itself is fine, and the bonus mat it came with is great- worth the purchase just for the mat! No problems with the iron itself yet, and I like the results I get.

I have always been a Chi iron user but this was my first Turbo. It just quit working on me one day. It was about three weeks after I purchased it and I was in the middle of ironing my hair it it just quit.
Folica was great about the return though. I just filled out the form that came in the box and sent it back to them. I had a full refund with no questions asked within a week.
If you are going to buy a Chi I would suggest the original 1" Chi. I owned it for 3 years with no problems until my friend dropped it on a tile floor and the ceramic plates broke. But I love, love, love the way a Chi iron straightens my hair. Thanks again Folica for accepting the return!

When I first bought this flat iron I loved it.It worked fast and worked well. Then about a year later it started having problems and wasnt heating up properly and then the next day it would burn me because it was too hot. Finally it gave out all together. I wont buy another one and I would try another brand, for the amount of money it cost it should have lasted longer then it did.

I received this hair straightener as a gift from my mom. After using it I never felt that good in my entire life. There was a whole new me!! I have used other straighteners before but there was no comparison to this one. I hope it works the way it does now, in the future and doesnt mess up. I havent felt this way for so long!!

I recently purchased the one inch turbo flat iron on the advice of my niece who also owned one.I tried it on my hair and my daughters hair.I have finer hair and my daughter has thick hair.It was supper on both hair types and left our hair straight yet not dry or brittle.I would recommend this product as I have tried other ceramic irons that were very drying and damaging to my hair.This one left my hair straight yet shiny when used with good shampoo and conditioner.
