yes. I ordered my Chi a few days ago and it just got in today. I was a little nervous about getting it. I was scared it wouldn't be real or the product would never come and I would waste my money. It's NOT a waste. It really is what it says it is and works great! My cousin has had hers for at least 3 years and it still works perfect. So don't waste your money on a more expensive price. This really is the best price; I did my research.
Well worth the money spent!

I had my CHI for four years, this past weekend when I was straightening my hair in my friends room, my friend accidentally tripped over the cord and I dropped my CHI, the plates popped out. :[
But, this next monday I am getting a new one, it's the best straightener I've ever had. My hair is naturally thick, frizzy and curly, and the CHI is the only straightener I can use to tame it.
I highly recommend this product!

I bought my Chi Flat Iron (original model) 2 years ago and have NEVER had a problem with it. I keep it in its original box and do not wrap the cord around it, as was suggested here. I condition my hair regularly and always use a protective product on it before ironing my hair. Yes, your hair will need periodic trimming as usual bc of dead ends, but it hasnt "fried" my hair whatsoever, and I also color my hair as well. The heat proof pad is nice to have to set on your sink counter as you use it. All in all, I have never regretted my purchase and my hair always looks great, straight or curly. Yes, you can curl your hair with this product! there are videos on the web to show you how.

When I first bought a chi I LOVED it! But it broke after a couple months. It had a short in the cord and stopped working. Then I went back and bought a new one and I've only had it a year or so and the on/off button stopped working. I didn't "abuse" my straightner. I don't know why they kept breaking. It was too expensive and worked awesome. I love the way it worked but not if I have to spend money every 6 months to buy a new one.
Can't go anywhere without my CHI flat iron!

I bought my first CHI flat iron about 5 years ago and was literally attached to it. I packed it with me on every trip no matter where I go. It makes my hair from super frizzy to super straight, shiny and sleek. I used to straight perm my hair before, but with the CHI flat iron and a little time, I can save some extra bucks on going to a hair salon. You need to use some hair serum to smooth it out though if your hair is coarse like mine. Get the hair serum from FrizzEase at Walmart or Target. It works just fine, and you don't need to spend a lot of money on expensive products. The cord recently got loose, and the iron didn't heat up as good as it used to be, so I've just ordered a new one from Folica. I know the heat proof pouch will really come in handy on my next trip as I always had to wait for the iron to cool down after each use before pack it in my suitcase. I notice the new iron does not heat up as hot as my previous one so it takes a little longer to straighten my hair every morning, but other than that, it works fine. I hope it will last another 5 years or so...

This is the BEST of the best. Well worth the money. Heats in seconds. Adds shine to hair and makes it soft. Turns the roughest, driest hair into silky soft. Makes curliest hair smooth!! Don't hesitate to buy.

at first i had to get used to it since it was a much better straightener than i had before...but now i got the hang of it and I LOVE IT!!! its so easy to straighten my hair in the morning now and very quick too!! :)

My sister and I both have very curly frizzy hair, she had a CHI and gave it to me to try. I absolutely loved it.No more frizz!! One mornig when I was straightening my hair my dog got caught in the cord and pulled it to the floor and the plates popped off. (I think my puppy just wanted to give it a try too since she saw how well it worked on me) Anyways, I ordered a new CHI and it is just as great as my last. They are very much worth the price. They last forever; unless your puppy wants to use it!!

This is the best straightener I have ever had. My hair stylist actually told me about the CHI. CHI is my new best friend! AND i got it for a great price. I only paid $80.00 on this site with no shipping and handling. I saw the same CHI in a store at the mall and it was OVER $120.00! Def. a great deal! I'm very happy with my purchase and I would recommend the CHI to everybody. Oh and the CHI also heats up REALLY fast! within seconds!

I'm not sure what this girl did to her hair but this is NOT the result of a properly used CHI flat iron!! I am a stylist and after trying MANY flat irons, I always go back to the CHI. I style all different kinds of hair, color treated, etc. and I have NEVER seen a CHI do this to hair. It was most likely used incorrectly...i.e. on wet hair maybe? I have only raves for CHI!

OK, when i first got my chi(over a year ago) i absolutely loved it. but after a few months of using it, my hair was constantly split, fried, and broken even when i deep-conditioned, used protector spray, and took really good care of it. Now, if i don't get my hair cut really frequently or not straighten it (which looks horrible!), my hair is murdered. I seriously want a new straightener because my chi makes my hair look horrible.

i have used all different CHI models and i must admit that the $80 original works just as good as the $130 CHI. if you are looking to get a fast heating quality straightener, the CHI brand is the way to go...NO MATTER WHAT MODEL. i love it, i love it, i love it!!!

I have a daughter who has naturaly curly hair and its very hard for her to control and we have been through many different brands of straightners. I am so glad I invested the money in a CHI the difference is unbelievable!

I purchased this flat iron because my hair stylist uses it on my hair. I am multi-ethnic (puerto rican, black, white, native american and filipino) and have very curly and very thick hair similiar to tracy ellis ross on girlfriends. This gets my hair superstraight and its stays straight until I wash it. I have used several different flat irons and this works the best. One warning DO NOT Press down too hard when using as this makes temperature rise and can burn off hair (this happened when my little sister used it on herself). So if you take your time and use correctly it works great!
It is the best product.
